Gamer Grub Review & Giveaway

My husband & I both enjoy playing video games sometimes when we play we enjoy eating snacks but it is hard finding good snacks to eat while playing that won't leave our controllers greasy or feeling nasty. When I was offered the chance to review a product called Gamer Grub I couldn't refuse the opportunity the product sounded like a perfect solution. What is Gamer Grub? It is essentially a trail mix that combines great taste with a proprietary blend of essential vitamins and natural neurotransmitters to support performance. Gamer Grub currently has four flavors- including Pizza, PB&J, BBQ and S'mores - packaged in convenient 'Tear N' Tilt' snack packs.


Both my husband & I were excited to try these out because they looked delicious. The first flavor tried was the PB&J which was alright it had a very flavorful mixture to it but my husband & myself weren't a huge fan of it. The next two we tried were the Pizza and BBQ which were both very good if we didn't stop ourselves we could have finished them in one sitting. The S'mores was my favorite by far It is something I could see myself buying more often along with the other flavors,after each bag was gone my husband asked if we could go buy more. Each bag holds a large amount of flavor in the perfect combinations and texture combinations. Our hands didn't feel dirty or greasy while eating these during a video game session,with the easy tear open bags you don't even need your hands just pour it right into your mouth. Each bag is enough for one person or two if you want to share but after trying out these mixes my guess is you won't want to share.

 

Gamer Grub is easy to eat while playing video games,watching movies or doing a number of other hands on activities. I think this product would also be perfect to pack while on a camping trip or road trip. The snack can be found in 7 countries world-wide including; Canada, Finland, Sweden, UK, Saudi Arabia and China,They have heard stories of Moms traveling over 15 miles just to get their Gamer Grub at their nearest retail location and mothers being grateful for a snack food that is made of real strawberries (freeze dried), nuts and have an additional helping of minerals and key vitamins such as: Vitamin C,Vitamin A,Vitamin B3/Niacin,Magnesium and more. For a recent review I was sent a package containing the Genesis 1,3,and 5 subject notebooks along with three sets of Wide landscape legal pads. I was very happy to receive these since I am running out of notebooks here at home we use them for many purposes here & for school use as well. I love keeping one of the smaller Wide landscape legal pads in my desk & another in my purse I find they come in quite handy I use them for shopping list,Keeping shipping information & more such as information about certain programs,school numbers and To do lists. If I need to take a page out of one of the notebooks or off of the legal pad I can do so without having to worry about the paper ripping unevenly it simply tears right off with no problems. My favorite part of these products is that all of their products are made from Recycled Materials such as: recycled papers, sugarcane fiber paper, and poo papers. This basket arrived surprisingly fast & looked wonderful when I pulled it out of the package it felt like unwrapping a very nice Christmas gift. I think the best thing about this basket is that the products included weren't the tiny sample sizes like most gift baskets contain it was plenty enough for three people to enjoy. With the large selection of food/snack items include there was something to keep all of us happy it was a pleasure exploring the basket,I think my favorite part aside from the wonderful assortment included is the basket which I am keeping in my room to use for storage,I love the basket. Ripley's Believe it or Not! GIVEAWAY & Review

When I get the chance to I love to read when I was a kid it was one of my favorite past times but now that I have a family to take care of,a Etsy shop,a blog & a full time job to maintain I don't always have the time to sit down & read. On that note I have always been a big fan of Ripley's Believe it or Not! so when I was offered a chance to review their book Strikingly True 2012 I made sure to make time to read through it. Strikingly True features incredible people such as Lucky Diamond Rich and his completely tattooed body, unusual animals like the giant deep-sea isopod, and one-of-a-kind works of art including Rev Mayer’s blood paintings.

Once I knew my book was on its way I felt like a child patiently waiting for a new toy to arrive,It didn't seem to get here fast enough.[Note the book did not take very long to get here I just wanted to read it] once it arrived I started reading it just a few short minutes after it arrived I took some time away from my blog for a few days to take the time to enjoy reading this book. Right away I started finding things I found fascinating I am sure my fiance was being driven a little insane when I tried to read every other one to him. This book offers a lot of reading materials on everything from people,to places & animals the book is 245 pages long each page has any where from 10-20 short paragraphs about some pretty remarkable feats for example here is one of my favorites "A stork named Eodan flies 8,080 Miles each year from South Africa to Brodski Varos,Croatia to visit his handicapped mate,Malena who is unable to fly.They have chicks each year and Rodan teaches them to fly.He then takes them with him to South Africa for the winter and returns with them to Malena in the spring" it was such a touching story its amazing what people & animals do for those they love. If love struck animals aren't your type of thing there are plenty of Tattooed people,Horrible accidents people lived through,Nature devastation & more for your to read through enjoy & get shocked by in this book of Strikingly True 2012. Ripley's Believe it or Not! never fails to surprise me they always offer something to fascinate me with,I have enjoyed working with Ripley's Believe it or Not! & hope to do so again in the future. I think this book is worth the read & would be a great book to reread after your done or even to pass along to a friend who might enjoy the contents of this book,If your looking for a Unique birthday or holiday present this book would make a great gift.This book took me a few days to read I received a lot of entertainment from this book & I am happy to have it in my book collection.****This was not a paid post and my honest opinion was used. For a recent review I was sent a Mini Chiffon Jacket in white.The jacket is very soft & breathable to wear the fabric is soft & feels great against the skin as an added bonus there is no annoying tag rubbing against your neck.I love this jacket but do wish I could have got a size bigger my chest is a little too large to fit properly but I still have worn it anyways. I am still on the hunt for what I will be wearing this Halloween, I have been looking for something that I will feel Sexy in yet still keep covered up to go trick or treating with my daughter. I have been looking around at a few options & one option I have found is from a website called EdenFantasys the costume is their Swat shooter costume. The Swat Shooter costume features straps,& 'Swat' on the outfit I like the fact hat it fully covers the body no missing belly,no low rise back & no super short skirt that way I can wear it out with the children. Gears of War 3 Review

After a long anticipated wait Gears of War 3 from Epic Games is now available for purchase along with a Gears of war Xbox 360 & matching controllers.Gears of War 3 is a third-person shooter video game developed by Epic Games & was one of the most anticipated games of 2011.I enjoyed Gears of war great story line decent game play over all good game,I liked Gears of war 2 still great story line,Added game play I have put many many hours into Gears 2 with that said I Love Gears 3 it is one of my all time favorite games keep reading to find out why.

Jumping into the game you experience crisp clear graphics,Smooth game play & as always the beloved characters Marcus Fenix & Dominic Santiago. Gears offers a fantastic two player game that my Fiance & I both enjoy so it is only Natural we play the game together from start to finish first thing I did on the Gears 3 Release date was head out to get my copy we put it in the Xbox as soon as I was home. The Gears team has really gone all out for Gears 3, If you played one of the first two gears you know how much of a pain chain sawing enemies could be if you got hit or stuck while starting up your chainsaw then after your enemy was killed your chainsaw would stop Gears 3 allows you to keep your chainsaw running killing multipule enemies at a time earning you achievements along the way.Having beat the game I can honestly say this is one of my top favorite games it has hours of entertainment,a fantastic story line though I was a little taken aback when one of my favorite characters in the game dies. Through the game you get to encounter some old enemies like the Tickers,Boomers,& Kantus but you also get to defeat some new foes which are the Savage Grenadier,Savage Theron,Digger Boomer,Locust Siege Beast,Kantus Knight & New Lambent enemies.A new aspect that has been added is Imulsion humans,Imulsion is a parasite which turns humans into a creature similar to zombies I enjoyed this because it was like playing Gears & another of my favorites Resident evil at the same time.

Other aspects of the new game play I enjoy are some new weapons which are as follows: Retro Lancer,Digger Launcher,Sawed-off Shotgun,Incendiary Grenades,The One-shot,Vulcan & The butcher's Cleaver.Gears 3 has added new playable female characters Samantha Byrne, Anya Stroud & Queen Myrrah whom all add some fun laughs to the game play because of their dialog,There are also new maps & fun new games[Such as Beast mode where you get to play as the Locust creatures not to mention their new experience,cash & award system unlike the other Gears games you can Level up,get Weapon skins,Earn money in Horde to buy barriers,turrets,decoys & more while also buying upgrades for the items purchased you gain money by how many kills you get,items destroyed & more. When I first heard about their cash award system & how you have to buy ammo in Horde I thought I wouldn't like it but having played the game I do really enjoy it I am glad they added it in,It proves a little more of a challenge because if you run out of cash you can only buy small items so you will have to save up to buy upgrades.Asking my Fiance what the first thing he would bring up about the new Gears game to someone who had never played it his response was 'The speed & camera angles were amazing I love what the creators have done with the new game they put a lot of though & effort into the game working out kinks & glitches to make a fantastic game into something mind blowing we plan on playing this game over & over again." There are Tons of unlockables which are all part of the fun,If your into any kind of war,shooting,or similar games I would suggest checking out Gears of War 3 I have a feeling it will climb its way to the top in no time.I could honestly talk about this game for an hour or two but that would be a Huge blog post,So I tried to point out the main differences in Gears 3 compared to the first two along with what I liked most about the game.

I know my post was a little all over the place but I am excited about this game there is a lot of great features to talk about.I would like to point out this is Not a paid post,I did not receive a free copy of this game & I was not compensated in any other way for this review.I personally went out & bought my own copy of Gears of War 3 my fiance & I play a ton of video games,with Gears being some of my favorite games I wanted to share what I thought about you.The next game release date I am looking forward to is the release of Batman: Arkham City.

Halloween is my Favorite holiday & October is my favorite month of the year,The spooky festivity & decorations excited me & I love buying Halloween items year round so Why not buy a costume early?

I recently had the chance to work with a fantastic website called HalloweenCostumes.com for my review I received the Racy Red Riding Hood Costume which can be seen above.This costume arrived a lot faster than I had expected,The costume fits great & comes with a hood attached the costume was easy to put on & easy to remove I like how puffy the tutu part of this costume is I am used to costumes that have little to no fluff in the tutu's that are included but this is quite full.The costume is very comfortable to wear no scratchiness or odd plastic feeling like some costumes I have worn give off. Summer is slowly winding down,school is starting soon & the weather will start to get cooler over the next two to three months so that means everyone is planning lots of last minute summer fun.My Family & I included,What is a better way to end the summer than with a Big BBQ with lots of friends & family?Some of you may remember the review I did on the American Plastic Toys Home style Kitchen,I had a wonderful time receiving the chance from CSN to work with them,Recently I have a wonderful opportunity to work with them for an end of summer review.For my review I received a 18 Piece Tool Set with Knives in Plastic Case.It arrived perfectly on time,Everything was packaged nicely the set might have been tossed around in shipping because part of the set were popped out of their spaces but everything made it here in one piece.My DH loves this set we have only been able to use the steak knives so far but plan on using this set a lot because we love to BBQ & have our friends over.Everything is made with Stainless steel & very all the tools are a nice size the spatula is huge it is a lot bigger than I thought it was going to be.I was very happy to see that it came with Corn on the Cob 'holders' because it makes eating corn on the cob less of a mess than eating it with your hands only.I like the case that everything comes in it is a nice size to hold everything but still slide under your grill or into a closet.The case has slide closures which I find are easy to open & close even with something in one of your hands.The best part of all is CSN has a ton of really nice BBQ & Grill sets heck even Grills on sale for amazing prices starting at just $25 but that isn't all they offer CSN has OVER 200 stores! that carry toys,clothing,accessories,house goods,yard goods & More there is something for everyone.**This was not a paid post and my honest opinion was used.
