SinfulColors Holiday Polish!

I have to admit I was never big into nail polish, I was a nail bitter and couldn't stand having polish on because it would either look ugly or chip off and stick to my teeth. Thankfully I have outgrown my nail biting habits, It took me a bit to start liking nail polish but now I love painting my nails and doing various designs. Every Holiday I try to paint my nails in colors or a theme for that holiday or holiday season, This winter I was able to received four new polishes from the SinfulColors Mirror Metallics nail polish Holiday 2013 edition.The line includes the following colors

Pine Away: A glittery X-mas tree green

Red Eye: A sprinkle of crimson by candlelight

Purple Heart: A royal rush of rich purple

Gold Medal: A golden, glimmery goddess

Blue Steel: A brilliant blue gush of gift-wrap

Triple Platinum: A light shade of lilac tinted with tinsel  

Simply Silver: A sparkling ornamental shade of silver (not shown)

For a review I received Blue Steel, Purple Heart, Pine Away & Red Eye which can be seen in the collection line above. My favorite out of the four is the Blue Steel it is caught between a royal blue and a matte blue for those of you who like Dr. Who it reminds me of a Tardis blue. Testing out the polish I found they were all very true to the color shown through the bottle, both the green and the purple needed a second coat to not appear see through but the red and blue came out perfect. My personal Opinion on the colors? I enjoy them I could use a little more glitter in them to say "Holidays" but I overall like the colors picked for each bottle, using the SinfulColors Mirror Metallics nail polish Holiday 2013 edition line the possibilities for Christmas Nails are Endless you can do Christmas lights, Snow men, Tiny trees and more using these colors.



My daughter loves these colors I had to paint her nails before I was able to paint my own, My daughter is still younger so some polishes I am wary about using because of the scent. The Sinfulcolors polish doesn't have a strong scent like others do, it dried quickly and last for 1-2 weeks depending on what you do with your hands during the days. The best part? They only cost $1.99 each they are being sold exclusively at Walgreens so hurry and get a few bottles before they are gone. I will be personally keeping my eye out for Gold Metal & Simply Silver. The Haunted Knoll Review

My husband & I are huge gamers we enjoy collecting gamer related goods and attended our first Comicon this year. Comicon is a huge event to many people, those who dress up spend countless hours preparing the perfect costume but there isn't always enough time to get every detail or every piece made because we all know life gets busy. When a moment calls for a bit of help with a costume piece that is where sellers such as The Haunted Knoll come in as the knight in shinning Armour. A cherished video game between my husband & I is Borderlands we have spent hours upon hours playing Borderlands #2 together and have grown quite fond of our game characters. We have decided that for this upcoming comicon we would like to go as our Borderlands characters, having two small children and each having a full time job we know we won't have enough time to hand make every detail of our costumes. My husband will be going as Kreig a big part of his costume is the mask that he wears, We both lack the space to make molds and cast them, I have searched around and found some less than satisfactory masks until I would The Haunted Knoll.




The Haunted Knoll sells both pre-painted and Un painted masks which can be used for cosplaying needs. I received the amazing chance to work with them on a review to share with all of you here and my friends in the cosplaying community. The Haunted Knoll's products can be used for Halloween,Comicon or collection needs, I personally prefer the blank masks because it allows you the freedom to still customized your characters mask to how ever you want it, In the game there are dozens of color schemes so this gives you the chance to pick the colors or outfit you like best. Not only does the Haunted Knoll sell mask blanks but they make the most B.A Borderlands ornaments I have seen I was beyond excited to find one waiting for me in my review package and I am more than honored to have it hanging on my tree. For a product review I received a Kreig mask blank kit to create and paint on my own.



Shipping was lightning fast I couldn't wait to get it inside and open it up, Once I opened the package I was very happy to find the box was a recycled package used from previous supplies. With how many boxes and packages are used I am always happy to find when companies recycle products such as boxes,packing peanuts or other similar products. I was only expecting to find the Kreig mask kit in my package so when I opened it up and found a Psycho Christmas ornament as well I let out a happy and exited squeal. It was pleasant to find all of the assorted parts to the mask packages in separate bags to both protect the mask and make it easier to keep track of everything that goes with the mask. The mask is wonderful it isn't heavy but it isn't so light that it will break at the flick of a wrist, The mask fits well and will hold up for some time to come. The mask is made with attention to detail and with a passion in the heart you can tell the great amount of time and love that went into this product to provide You the customer with the best product possible. Included in the package was a "How To Guide" which is very helpful it tells you how to attach the straps, add on the side face pieces and which paints would be best to use for your mask to make it look it's best.



The Borderlands Psycho Mask Ornament is well made and is sturdy enough to last for many years to come, The ornament is about the size of your hand so it can be shown off. Keeping in mind that Each piece and handmade they vary slightly from one another,I was very pleased to find mine had more blue in the eyes than shown on the website because Blue is my favorite color. The owner Will did a spectacular job with the paint job every detail is perfect and it looks as if I had just plucked the mask from the game. What is my favorite part of the kit? Everything from the packaging to the mask was perfect I couldn't have asked for anything better. 8Bitmetal Etsy Review!

There are two important factors I look for when purchasing a Christmas gift the first is that it suits the likes and personality of the person I am getting it for and second is that the item isn't something you could run to the corner store and get. A big theme among my family and friends are gamer items but it can be hard to find high quality items that are in a fair price range. I recently came upon a etsy shop called 8bitmetal who is known for their amazing Zelda bottle openers, as soon as I set my eyes upon the bottle opener I knew exactly who to give it to. I was lucky enough to received a chance to work with 8bitmetal on a review & giveaway of their Zelda bottle opener.



Here is a description from the 8bitmetal etsy shop "A drink to the past. This is no ordinary bottle opener. Each bottle opener is hand finished and unique, guaranteeing no two bottle openers will look exactly alike. The sword also makes an excellent point to puncture cans for shot-gunning beers. It is made out of 10 gauge steel so that it won't bend or break (unless you take a hammer to it or try to bend it on purpose, don't be a dick) and coated in acrylic enamel to prevent rust. The bottle opener arrived quite fast and I was happily surprised to find the bottle opener was on the heavy side which is wonderful for being able to open those tricky bottles from time to time. The design is spectacular and holds up well which is great because my SO and his group of friends is known for breaking things while intoxicated. The bottle opener itself can be used as a display case if desired it is beautifully handcrafted and would make a wonderful conversation starter piece for any Zelda or video game lover. The bottle opener is safe to handle there are no sharp edges or point you can easily cut yourself on. Each Zelda bottle opener sells for $20 plus shipping and handling, I think this is a more than fair price for a one of a kind handmade piece. This bottle opener comes in four different shades/color; Copper, Bronzed, Blues & Red, then finally the Metal. I received the Bronzed which is pictured above, You can see where the bottle opener lip is but looking at it straight on you wouldn't be able to tell this was a bottle opener which leads to my statement of being able to use it as a display piece.Want to purchase one for yourself or for another Zelda lover? Stainless Charms Review & Giveaway!

Are you ready for another Etsy shop feature? The first thing I have to say is that Mark has very speedy since Thanksgiving was last week I expected the package to arrive later this week Wednesday at the latest but it arrived on Friday I was stunned and impressed.
 
I received the Stainless Steel Penguins Heart Charm Keychain Ornament, Stainless Steel Penguin Stick Figure Keychain, Old School Ice Skate Stainless Steel Key Chain Charm, Little Cupcake Stainless Steel dangly Earrings & Little Octopus Stainless Steel dangly Sea Creature Earrings. The first thing I noticed aside from everything being adorable was that everything is very high quality and made with care. The charms are light weight and very sturdy, I think the Stainless Charms would make wonderful stocking stuffers for Christmas this year they have a large range of products to choose from. Price wise I think everything is very fairly prices for being made from steel and handmade that bundles with the great quality and the fast shipping I would say that is a steal.

Having two children under the age of five & a cat ultimately means that the carpet is going to get dirty in one form or another sometime down the road, living in an apartment with tan carpets isn't a plus because you can clearly see juice,mud & dirt stains. I was trying to come up with ways to help save the carpet a little while still having a nice carpet,My solution? I was recently able to do a review for Rugs-Direct.com my rug of choice was their "Space Explorer" rug by Joy Carpets I received a 12' x 8' carpet to put into my children's bed room. The carpet has a number of brightly colored eye catching planets and starts, the rug itself is beautiful. When the rug arrived I was very excited to get it set up in my kids room, for the rugs size it was fairly light to carry by myself, after moving some of my daughters belongings from her room such as the dresser,bed,ect I put the carpet into place. The carpet unrolled very easy and was simple to put into place, all objects have the small "curl" after they have been rolled up for a long period of time to get rid of this I simply placed a heavy objects on all the corners for an hour so that there wouldn't be any edges sticking up.



The carpet covers up 98% of the space in my daughters room which is perfect because the large furniture covers the rest, I have to say that the photo of the carpet on their website does Not do this carpet justice it is much brighter in person. Above you can see the website photo on the right and my personal photo on the left as you can see the carpet is a lot brighter in person, This carpet looks great & feels great on your feet. I have to admit I am a bit jealous of my kids new bedroom carpet. Are you looking for a new rug or carpet for your home? My kids are big fans of squeezable fruit pouches, We were recently asked to do a review & giveaway for the new Del Monte Fruit Burst Squeezers. We were sent a very nicely packaged set of squeezers which included the following flavors: Peach-Mango,Blueberry,Apple Cinnamon,Mixed Berry & Strawberry. We use these in many different ways we eat them at home with meals,eat them when we are on the go,we make fruit pop sickle cubes from them & I mix then into my sons infant cereal instead of milk.

Above you can see how bright & attractive their product is, If I didn't know about it before I received an email from them I would have still picked this up at the store based on the packaging. Taste wise they taste delicious our favorite was the Peach-Mango you could tell right away just by smelling the wonderful aroma that it was going to taste just as great. My four year old daughter is pretty picky about food but even she enjoyed these her favorite was the Apple Cinnamon because she loves apple sauce and said this tasted similar just sweeter. My almost nine month old loves any kind of fresh fruit so he loved all of them, He eats these by himself or in his morning cereal.

My favorite thing about the Del Monte Fruit Burst Squeezers is that you can take them on the go to the zoo,park,work where ever you need a fast and easy snack. I usually don't have enough time to pack a lunch for work in the mornings & I don't want to waste my money on junk food from the cafe at work so these squeezers are the perfect solution. Base off of what we have tasted,smelled & seen when it comes to these Squeezers I will be buying this product again & suggest that you look for them at your local store along with the other great Del Monte products.

Growing up with a unique name I was always bummed out when I went to the "Name plate" section & knew I would never find my name, times have changed & you can get almost anything personalized now. I had a fun time reading this to my son and will continue to read it to him at bedtime, He is a bit young to fully understand the book aside from looking at pretty pictures but I know he will enjoy this book more as he gets older. Orange Glad Review

To this day I haven't meet a person that doesn't enjoy one type of treat or another, although I must admit sometimes chocolate chip cookies get boring after a while I enjoy a good dessert after dinner. I recently found out about a subscription company called Orange Glad who sends out a monthly box stuffed full of sweet treats. I recently received their September box & was excited to get it opened up.

Once I opened the box I came face to face with an ice pack which told me right away chocolate was involved, With the heat we have been having in Arizona I didn't want to risk a mess so I stored the box in the Freezer for an hour before I let anyone try anything. In the box we found the following products: Chocolate-Dipped Macadamia shortbread,Two Designer Chai & Almond spice Cookies,Almond Nougar,A Oreo Cookie cake push pop & a Lemon sugar cookie. My personal favorite were the Almond Nougar treats, I love almonds but have never tried them in this unique form before the whole thing was rich in flavor & chewy yet crunchy at the same time which is something I enjoy. My second favorite was the Oreo cookie cake push pop, This was also a unique experience the cake was in an almost syringe style container that was heart shaped. The cake push pop was fun to eat & brought back memories of eating push Popsicle, I liked that the cake pop had an assortment of different layers each with their own flavor. There was enough cake in the cake pop for two people to enjoy or have as a treat for yourself. My fiance likes the Lemon Sugar cookie as it was a nice blend between a sugar cookie and a lemon bar which we have been enjoying the flavor of lately. The kids also enjoyed the treats that came in this box as they had some of the Chocolate-Dipped Macadamia shortbread & Designer Chai & Almond spice Cookies. In our house we give Orange Glad gets a high score on the like scale.

I have been on a search for healthy snacks to eat while I am at work, I am usually short on time so I can't spend a lot of time in the grocery isle checking out all the products they offer so when I received a chance to work with Healthy Surprise on a review & giveaway I couldn't refuse. I recently received a "Starter" size box to review, it may be a "starter" box but don't let the name fool you there is quite a bit packed into this little box.

Some of the products I received included an assortment of health bars,sea salt Pumpkin seeds,A brownie, A Cranberry & almond mix,Peach fruit strips & more. A starter box provides 11+ full size snacks which average out to 16-20 servings which is enough to feed 1-2 people per box. Each month the Healthy surprise box will ship out on the same day & should arrive to your home on the same day every month,Delivery usually takes 1-3 business days in the US & the starter box costs $33. I found that most of the snacks were quite delicious I love pumpkin seeds so I was very excited to find those in my box,I am also a big fan of both cashews and dried cranberries so those were lovely finds as well. The two items we didn't like because they aren't something we would normally buy for ourselves were the Sea weed dried treats & the veggie chips they were nice to have included though to give us a chance to try something new which is what this experience is all about. I also enjoy the fact that it gives you a fact sheet letting you know about each item & what they contain for those with peanut or other food allergies. If I were to subscribe to a food box this would be on my list of boxes to purchase. Aside from the starter box they also offer a "Healthy box" which includes 16+ full size snacks & a Large box which includes 27+ full size snacks.
