L'BRI Giveaway & Review!

**This was not a paid post. My honest opinions were used, they are solely my own & they may vary from others. The products mentioned below have been provided by L'BRI for the review & giveaway free of charge.**

I don't get break outs on my face often but I do get a lot of small black heads on my nose so I like keeping a daily skin routine of keeping my face clean to help prevent any break outs or larger black heads.  My skin is pretty sensitive so I try not to use facial products that are too strongly scented, or that create a dry feeling so I test out everything on my hand before applying it to my face to prevent blemishes or redness from irritation. Anytime I get a product that doesn't agree with me I will let you all know as well, but that isn't the case with this collection of products they all feel great. I was recently sent some great products from a company called L'BRI to test out and I have to admit the gentle cleansing wash I received is neck and neck with my favorite face wash of all time.

Gentle Skin Care Trio: This set comes with a cleanser, freshener and a lotion all designed to help normal and dry skin, it retails for $56.95. The cleanser has a thin formula so you only need about a dime sized amount for your whole face so the 6oz bottle will last you quite some time. It has a light rose smell which is actually quite pleasant and it leaves my skin feeling moisturized, refreshed, light and silky smooth. Instead of leaving my face feeling tight due to the face wash drying it out or feeling greasy my face is almost left feeling fluffy and clean and the smell gives it an airy feel. The fresher is a  moisturizing mist meant to help keep your face feeling fresh through out the day, to be honest I don't see myself using this once much because the cleanser and lotion do an excellent job. The lotion I love using on my face and my hands, which I normally don't like doing because most lotions give me blemishes but this is light, non-greasy or oily and doesn't have any strong scents to irritate my skin.

Exfoliating face and body wash: This product offers a great mixture between a bead filled scrub and a normal face wash. The formula spreads out quite a bit and there isn't an overwhelming amount of scrub in it which is nice for the face, neck, back, etc. It has a light floral and almost coco scent to it which is nice. The bottle is a great shape to help get all of the product out as you are using up the bottle.

Oil-Free Moisturizer with Sunscreen: I like applying this to my face in the morning because I get ready to go out for the day, it does have a light sunscreen smell to it but it isn't overpowering and doesn't have any kind of odd funky smell to it. Much like their other products the formula used is light weight so you will need very little of this to cover your face. It does not leave my face feeling greasy and oily just clean and moist, it absorbs into the skin quickly and you can really feel it sinking in. It makes a great base under foundation and is a product my skin really seems to agree with. Since I've started using the gentle cleanser and this moisturizer I can tell a bit of a difference in the way my skin looks, from time to time I get dry patches on my nose but I haven't had any issues with that since using these products. I've been using these products for about a week now and I do really enjoy them.

Eye shadow collection for Brown eyes: This collection of eye shadows comes with four different colors which are Flax a caramel color, Eucalyptus a almost forest green, Bisque a white, and Smoked plum a purplish brown. The case they came in is pretty sturdy and actually a little difficult to open but that is also a good thing because it means it won't pop open in my makeup bag. Two of the color tins are a little lose in the packaging and wiggle around when using that specific color but so far they don't seem to be going anywhere just a little wiggly. The eye shadow formula is smooth and soft to the touch when applying it to your skin, all of the colors are pretty light so I would suggest using a eye primer under the shadow. The image shown above is 2-3 layers of the shadows included in the set out in the sunlight. This retails for $33.95

Velvet touch retractable eyeliner in Teal shimmer: I like the product packaging for this liner, the liner end is a little thinner than the twisting end which helps you get a better grip on the eyeliner. The cap stays in place and requires a little force to get off so you won't need to worry about the cap randomly falling off. This teal liner is a little more on the green side than blue and has silver shimmer sparkles through out. You can create thin lines using this product or if you want to blend it the product blends easily. There is a small sharpener tucked away in the end of this which is nice for when you want to keep it sharp to achieve thin lines.

Five Piece Brush Set: The carrying case this comes in is fantastic, it is a faux leather wallet sized case that has a magnetic close and a flap that goes over your brushes both to keep them protected and help keep any loose pigments from falling out everywhere. It comes with five essential pieces you would want to take with you while traveling which includes a nylon bristle Powder Brush, Shading Brush, Lip Brush, Angled Eyebrow Brush, Eyebrow & Eyelash w/Comb. The brushes are soft and seems to be well made the only brush that had any bristles coming lose or out of place was the eyebrow brush. This set retails for $40

PaRragon August Book Buddy Box!

**This was not a paid post. My honest opinions were used, they are solely my own & they may vary from others. The products mentioned below have been provided by PaRragon for the review free of charge.**

It has been about two months since I've been able to share a book buddy box with all of you so I am excited they sent out a new box to review and share with all of my lovely readers. This months box is themed "Back To School" and features a number of educational books to help prepare your toddler for Kindergarten and beyond. All of the books are from a line called The Learnalots and they are a lot of fun.

The Learnalots Let's Learn Preschool, Kindergarten, & Second Grade: I was a little surprised they didn't include first grade and put second grade instead but I think that is because they sent a little 500 questions first grade book in place of the bigger book. Each of the Learnalots books has 256 page along with two pages of rewards stickers (50 stickers per page). Each book goes over different subjects that they would be going over for that grade level, for example the Preschool book goes over ABC's, 123's, Shapes colors and more. My four year old is great with his colors, shapes, etc so the preschool book is a breeze for him and helps keep his mind sharp and the others will help with the things he doesn't know or just needs more practice on like reading and writing.

I like how bright, crisp and clear each page in this book is all the characters and colors help hold his attention and they don't put in anything overly complicated for the age range that the book targets. Along with practicing their skills each book also has a number of fun games that feature the different subjects they are learning about. I like how big each book is, it is the perfect size to put up on the counter and work on together with my son.

Get Ready for Preschool & Kindergarten Learning Packs: Both packs come with five 32 page paper back books and each one has a page of stickers as well. Each book goes over the same subjects that are in the bigger learning books but these are easy to bring with on car rides, to doctor appointments, etc and they can all be put back into the handy carrying case when you are done with them. All of the characters in these books are well designed and are pretty darn cute, my kids have a blast looking at all of them.

Learnalots 500 first grade questions & Coding and computers book: The 500 questions book is specifically designed to help both the parents and child have fun together while learning. It covers a number of subjects and comes with an array of cute pictures and bright colors to help your child stay focused and get their attention. Some of the questions are silly and fun such as "Is a slumber party a sleepover with friends, or a party where people cut trees?" and "Does PB&J stand for peanut butter and jelly or pickles, bacon and juice?" and it also has more serious questions such as "What animal helps to pollinate flowers: a bear or bees" and " Which is larger 1/4 or 1/6". The only thing I don't like about this book is the size/shape it is hard to keep it to stay open you really have to bend the spine back in order to get it to stay otherwise it wants to close the entire time you are reading it. While flipping through this trying to look at the pages a small section of the pages actually fell right out of the book which was a bit disappointing.

The coding book is a lot of fun for older kids, it helps teach kids about computers and the coding that helps keep everything running smoothly. It has 48 pages of information and comes with over 300 fun stickers to make learning coding fun!

UpCart Review!

**This was not a paid post. My honest opinions were used, they are solely my own & they may vary from others. The products mentioned below have been provided by UpCart for the review free of charge.**

Moving can be quite a pain in the butt if you are having to move everything by hand, and that goes double for if you are having to move into or out of an apartment higher than the first floor using only stairs. Most moving trucks come with a standard furniture dolly but as we all know they can get in the way and due to their size isn't always the best option for use. I recently saw an infomercial for a product called the UpCart and it looked pretty neat so I figured why not try it out. I was sent the "UpCart Original" to try out for a review.

The UpCart is an all-terrain stair climber that can hold up to 200lbs, it is specially designed to fold up for easy storage and the way the wheels are designed it makes going up and down the stairs a breeze.I like that the wheels and even the handle break down to make this smaller so you can store it in your car, closet, etc without it taking up much room and it doesn't weight a ton either so you can carry it one handed without any issues. I found this extremely easy to unfold and fold back up when I needed to use it, even if you aren't carrying something heavy this would be perfect for moving multiple boxes at once. You can even use it to bring those big water cooler jugs into the house instead of carrying them all the way. The wheels are spaced out evenly enough I don't see any rocks or small objects getting caught in them and they don't seem to pick up a lot of dirt/hair either when rolling around on the ground. The UpCart Original retails for $89.95 and they sell other upgrades along with accessions like baskets to make your cart even better. This one little cart is going to make moving and other activities so much easier, we can't wait to use it more often! I plan to use it to bring all the Christmas decorations into the house once the holiday gets closer since I have several boxes of lights and ornaments this will make bringing them all into the house one trip instead of five like it normally takes.

Paramore Art Works Giveaway & Review!

**This was not a paid post. My honest opinions were used, they are solely my own & they may vary from others. The products mentioned below have been provided by Paramore Art Works for the review & giveaway free of charge.**

It is the time of year when all the stores are starting to stock their Halloween goods and pumpkin spiced products are making their way into your carts. There are 67 days until Halloween, a lot of people won't start worrying about costumes and such for another month or so but why not get a head start? My fiance and I like hosting Halloween parties every year and this year will be twice as special because we will be getting married as well so I am looking for new decorations to add to our collection this year. I recently happened upon an Etsy shop called Paramore Art Works that sells a beautiful selection of banners and other goods.

Shop owner Beth was kind enough to send me a tan and black "Happy Halloween" banner to review. Shipping was speedy and the banner was well packaged it came wrapped in an adorable fall tissue paper and placed inside of a cello bag with a ribbon. It arrives in two sections one says "Happy" and the second says "Halloween" so you can arrange them as shown above, hanging these up made me realize that without someone to guide where I am hanging this I am absolutely horrible at trying to get it centered and even. Each letter is made with a thick chipboard with black lettering, the chipboard makes each letter pretty durable and I see this banner lasting for many years to come. The banner is eye catching and the perfect size for any home, height wise each letter is a little longer than the length of my hand and width wise the "Happy" is 22" long and "Halloween" is 39" long.

I didn't find any issues with the lettering for the cuts of the chipboard, everything was even and flush. I also love how easy these are to fold back up into a stack for storage, I can never get the poor paper like banners from the store to refold up how they should because of how they are made so this made me very happy. The banners are also light weight so you can hang them pretty much any where, I plan on hanging these in my kitchen above my kitchen island which will greet guests as they walk into the house. Each banner set is $25 which to me is very reasonable, it is handmade and like I mentioned before I feel like this banner will be long lasting. To me it feels like the banner helps bring a touch of vintage Halloween into decorating because of the colors and lettering, a lot of Halloween decorations now a days are a little too cutesy so I like that this can fit into a wide range of decor.

*The image above was not taken by me, it is an image pulled from the Paramore Art Works Etsy page.

Diono Review!

**This was not a paid post. My honest opinions were used, they are solely my own & they may vary from others. The products mentioned below have been provided by Diono for the review free of charge.**

Like most children my kids think long car rides can be pretty boring without something to do, and my son likes taking naps on car rides so I want my kids to be as happy and comfortable as possible. When I hear Diono I always think about their car seats but what I didn't know is that they offer a range of car accessories as well and I was lucky enough to receive a few of them for a review.

Pop-up Trash Bin; I will 100% admit that my car can turn into an absolute disaster, mainly because there is no trash can so anytime the kids have something they want to throw away I have them just put it on the floor. Nasty I know! I do clean my car out once a week if that counts for anything though. This Pop-up trash bin helps solve all of those problems, it is a small can made from water resistant fabric. It takes "bag it" bags also sold by them but I just use grocery store bags, they fit perfectly and I have a ton of them so it is win-win in my book. This bin helps keep the car looking a lot nicer! Retail Value: $7.99

Seat Belt Pillow; This is something not only my son was excited about but his dad and I were pretty excited as well. My son falls asleep in the car often, he is four so he doesn't take naps daily but when he is tired he won't admit that he is thus won't take a nap but as soon as were in the car for more than three minutes he will pass out. We are always worried about the weird angles he gets into when he falls asleep so we knew this would be a big help to prevent his neck or head from being stiff when he wakes up. He loves this pillow, he even tried getting me to bring it into the house to use as a regular sleeping pillow because the cover is so soft. It has a Velcro strap that goes over the seat belt and then a piece of cloth sits over the belt to protect the childs face and neck. The pillow is 11" long and is pretty thick so it is as comfortable as possible. Retail Value: $8.97

Travel Pal; Even if we are only running to the store for a quick trip my kids always insist on bringing some of their stuff with us for the ride but they know to leave stuffed animals and such in the car (electronics get placed in my purse). Toys can sometimes end up on the floor and be forgotten, crayons get placed onto the seat for safe keeping until they need that color but Oh no! they forgot to pick it back up before getting out of the car because they didn't see it in the seat crack. This travel pal helps keep all of their belongings picked up and kept in once place, it even has drink holders in the front and pockets both on the outside and the inside so you can store all kinds of goodies in here.

How does it stay up on the seat while driving? It has a sturdy flap in the back that gets tucked into the backseat of your car that helps hold the basket in place while you are driving. My kids love having this between them and I love that it helps my car stay a bit neater. This retails for $9.08

The best part about all three items is that they can all be purchased for less than $10 and can all be found on amazon along with a dozen other helpful products.

Cave Tools Review!

**This was not a paid post. My honest opinions were used, they are solely my own & they may vary from others. The products mentioned below have been provided by Cave Tools for the review free of charge.**

With the summer heat we like to avoid turning on the oven too often because it creates unnecessary heat in the house, so instead we like to throw some meat and veggies onto the grill. Letting everything cook on the grill creates delicious BBQ and helps keep the house cool! A company called Cave Tools sells a lot of useful products for the grill including brushes, lights and more. I've reviewed their shish kabob skewers in the past and we loved them so when I was asked if I wanted to work with them on another review I was happy to agree. This time around I was sent the Rib roast BBQ rack which can also be used for cooking chickens, turkeys, ham and more!

The ribs we bought were a little short for the rack but the rack still held them into place just fine as you can see from the photos above. You can use it as shown above for ribs or you can flip it over to place a whole turkey/ham,etc onto it to cook. The rack is dishwasher safe and is easy to clean, the food comes off without any issues. The ribs turned out well, the rack helped cook them evenly and made it to where we didn't need to keep turning them over to make sure everything was cooked which was nice. My step-dad did think it was a little difficult to add extra BBQ sauce while they were cooking, it would be easiest to use a pair of tongs to lift but the meat and brush on the sauce that way. This rack sells for $17.99 and can be purchased along with all of their other great grilling products on their website linked at the start of this review. You can also purchase this product on Amazon. You can use coupon code RIBROAST15 to get 15% off the rack shown above.

Owl Natural Soaps Review!

**This was not a paid post. My honest opinions were used, they are solely my own & they may vary from others. The products mentioned below have been provided by Owl Natural Soaps for the review free of charge.**
During my time as a blogger I've seen some pretty neat and interesting products so you'd think I would seen almost everything by now yet I am still amazed at the unique and crafty products I find across the internet. I don't generally buy bar soap but I couldn't help but want one for my bathroom when I spotted the works of art Owl Natural Soaps creates. Owl Natural Soaps is a delightful Etsy shop that creates and sells handcrafted artisan soaps. For my review I received a Unicorns and Rainbows bar of soap, shop owner Sorina also included three sample soaps. It is mind blowing the amount of work that goes into each bar of soap, I've seen neat swirl soaps before but this completely beats what I've seen. Each bar of soap cost $6.50-$8 per bar, I know some might think that is a hefty price tag for soap but a lot of time, dedication and love go into each bar to turn it into a true work of art and I think they are completely worth the cost.

Unicorns and Rainbows features a rainbow, clouds, a flower and a unicorn mane/horn! That is several layers that go into each bar of soap, some of which aren't simply poured on because they are hand crafted and placed onto the soap during the molding process. Each bar of soap weighs 6oz and measures 4.5x2.75x1 inches so it is a pretty hefty bar of soap.

When my package first arrived it was hard to pick out individual scents because all of the soap scents mixed together so I separated the sample soaps from the bar and waited twenty four hours before checking them out. After placing separating them I was able to get a feel for how each one smelled. None of the scents are overwhelming yet are strong enough to stay on your hands for a short time after washing so you can enjoy the smell of the soap every time your hands are near your face.

Unicorns And Rainbows: The website description states this is scented with citrus, apple, berries and apricots sprinkled with shaved coconut. The scents mixed make quite an interesting combination, it smells sweet, fruity and floral all together it has a seductive charm to it. I personally think this smells like a freshly opened package of that fruity kids gum that features a zebra on the packaging, it was a scent I loved as a child and still love today. My fiance says it has a light blueberry scent to it and that it smells clean, he also mentioned this was a product he would want to use as well. This bar of soap was our daughters favorite out of the four soaps we received.

Peppermint Swirl: This smells just like peppermint candy canes at Christmas time, it would be a perfect addition to the bathroom during the holidays.

Pumpkin Patch: This scent was my fiance and our sons favorite. My fiance noted that to him it smells like spice and coco butter, I agree about the spice scent it is not overpowering though. I think this a great soap for guys, it has almost a musk smell to it that is pleasant to catch whiffs of.

Mermaid Lagoon: The Unicorns and Rainbows and this soap are tied for my favorite. I love the color blue so I might be a little biased because of it but it really does smell fantastic. It has almost a woodsy smell to it because it is a bit musky with hints of a sweet floral touch giving it a romantic aromatic smell. I actually put this one in my kitchen because that is where I wash my hands the most through out the day and I love smelling the scent lingering on my hands afterwards.

The lather from the soap is slightly foamy and creamy you do not need to use a lot of this soap in order for it to cover both hands, a turn or two of the soap in your hand and you are set. The formula used also doesn't leave the bar a goopy mess after using it several times, it does leave a little bit of a ring behind like all soaps do if it isn't dried properly so if you do not already own one I suggest getting a soap dish to help preserve the life of your soap and keep your counters clean. My hands get pretty dry during the summer and can tend to get small cracks along the top of my hand, some soaps cause irritation to those areas so I was happy to find this soap actually helps it feel more moisturized and doesn't leave my skin feeling dried out.

Tani Giveaway & Review!

**This was not a paid post. My honest opinions were used and are solely my own & they may vary from others. The products mentioned below have been provided by Tani for the review & giveaway free of charge.**

Home is my sanctuary because I can do what I want and wear what I want without having to worry what anyone else thinks, if I want to workout in my Pajamas I can! A company called Tani creates and sells a number of comfortable clothing pieces you'll never want to take off, why? Their products are made from a fine silk that is soft, smooth and cooling. For my review I was able to select one top and one bottom of my choice, I selected the Silkcut long sleeve shirt retail $75 and the GO Power Leggings retail value $145.

Both pieces are comfortable as can be, the silk material is one of the softest materials you will ever wear and it hugs your body just like a second layer of skin. The material is pretty stretchy but bounces back into place after being worn, it washes and dries well without any issues. My biggest issue is the materials are thin enough they are extremely see through and leave almost nothing to the imagination. You don't even need to bend over in these leggings to show the world your bottom side and what underwear you are sporting for the day, I don't have a big butt so I don't think the issue is that my backside is stretching the materials too far. Unless I am working out in home I won't be wearing these out of the house unless it is under a skirt. Even with the see thru nature of these I plan on working out in them because of how comfortable and soft they are (I work out in my bedroom at home, no need to worry gym goers!) it almost feels like you aren't wearing anything at all. The long sleeve top is perfect for wearing by itself or under another shirt as a second layer which I plan to do this winter.

PRIZE ALERT:
One lucky reader is going to win a Top & Bottom combo of their choice!

This is open to US/Canadian Residents! Please remember if you DO NOT leave a comment on this blog post as your mandatory entry into the giveaway then all of your entries will be void. Zaful clothing review!

**This was not a paid post . My honest opinions were used and are solely my own & they may vary from others. The products mentioned below have been provided by Zaful for the review free of charge.**

I have recently been thinking of adding a few new additions to my wardrobe. I am very self-conscious and can be a bit picky about what I end up buying so when Zaful contacted me about working with them I was actually surprised to find I liked quite a bit of their selection (they offer all sized even up to a 5xl). Not only do they offer a ton of cute and fun clothing items but they also offer fantastic prices, I was offered my choice of up to $50 worth of clothing. So what did that amount get me? I ended up with two dresses and a pair of leggings, which is pretty good in my opinion. My review of each item is listed below:

Empire Waist Lace Panel Dress - This one I don't have a photo in I wanted all of the detail to be shown so the photo above is from the Zaful website. This dress is gorgeous, it can be worn out for a date night or you could even wear it to a wedding. Since it is black you can pair pretty much any accessory you want with it. The dress is comfortable the materials used are so soft and flowy. If you wear a bra with straps you will be able to see them so I would go with a black bra or go strapless, be wear it is a little form fitting so if your bra creates a "love handle" under where it sits you may be able to see it in this dress. The top will compliment your chest in all the right places while being classy and not exposing too much, the design of the bust area helps make your wait appear slimmer. Length wise I am 5'4" and it is a floor length dress for me. Retail Value $19.99 comes in size XL to 5XL

Tiny Floral overlap flounced flowy beach dress in purplish blue - This dress is made from a type of Polyester material and has a zipper on the side. I think this dress is absolutely adorable, I love the print design but there is one small flaw the gap where your chest sits is huge! I am not small chested by any means I wear a 34DD and the top was still pretty roomy and opened up a bit too far for me so I added an under shirt (the black across and the two thin straps are part of that). Otherwise this dress fits nicely in all the right places, it is a great summer dress and goes nicely with a pair of wedge sandals. Retail Value $19.99 comes in size XL to 5XL

Fish Scale print sexy bodycon leggings in blue -Aside from my Christmas leggings this is my first completely out there printed leggings, I fell in love with these on the website but was a bit disappointed in them in person. The print itself is fantastic, it is shiny and creates a rainbow in the light it is the size I was upset with, I generally wear a M in yoga pants/PJ pants/underwear however it was on clearance they only had XL available and I figured if they were too big for me I'd gift them to my sister in law. Instead of being too large they were too small, they go about half way up my butt and stop so if I bend over or do anything really anyone behind me better prepare for a full moon. If they were made from a stretchier material or were a bit bigger they would be perfect. Retail Value $9.93 comes in size S to XL.

They are currently having a summer sale which includes bathing suits and more at 2 items for $15.99 and they have other offers as well along with free shipping.

Mountain Resorts Promo.

**This is not a sponsored post, In exchange for posting this I receive a chance to win a free three night stay at the resort mentioned below but I was not paid anything nor did I receive anything aside from an entry for this post.**
