Starbucks & Ulta Gift Card Giveaway!

Hey Everyone! I have a fun new giveaway for you that includes two of my favorite things, makeup and coffee. 💜 But before we get to the giveaway I have a few things I wanted to share. I recently celebrated my birthday on the 6th, I had a lovely birthday weekend. I spent Saturday running around doing birthday things with a good friend of mine who is also a May baby, and I stopped by a local rescue to drop off a big box of canned cat food plus I managed to find a abuse shelter close to me to donate some clothing I've been piling up to donate so that made me pretty happy. Sunday was spent with my family, relaxing and playing some board games (Catan & X-men!) . While we are speaking of birthdays I will have a post up soon highlighting several places that offer birthday freebies and I'll let you know how to get them as well!

In other news I recently recorded my first unboxing video which I was super nervous about but I don't think it came out that bad so I am excited to get it up (coming soon!). Plus I have many other giveaways on their way including the giveaway I try to hold monthly where I giveaway a book and beauty goodies, this month since it is my birthday there will be an extra book plus some other goodies not normally included in this giveaway. I am trying to figure out a new name for the giveaway as I had just been calling it my monthly book and beauty giveaway but it isn't that catchy, I was thinking possibly The Beauty & The Book Giveaway or The Beautiful Bookworm, but I can't make up my mind.

To all the mama's out there I wish you all a early Happy Mother's Day, although at times it may not feel like due to tantrum weeks, not being able to catch a break, etc you are all amazing strong and beautiful women and I hope you have a great Mother's Day weekend.

Feb Beauty Pack Giveaway!

The last two months seem to have completely flown by! I've been keeping busy with several things at home along with dealing with colds, helping out with a few events in December and more. My husband and I both recently caught the flu which took us out for about a week and a half, Thankfully I didn't get the full on flu but my poor husband was quite sick but he pulled through which I am very thankful for after hearing about how bad the flu is in other places. Jord Wood Watches Giveaway & Review!

Shopping for gifts for men can always be a little difficult, usually during the holidays the usual things come to mind like new pajamas, shoes, etc but what I've never really thought about getting before was a watch. When Jord contacted me recently and asked if I would be interested in working with them on a review and giveaway I said yes. Jord sent me a watch for review and wants to giveaway a $100 gift card to one lucky reader. All of Jords watches are hand-crafted wood time pieces that are sure to add a lot of Bang! to your wardrobe.



As soon as I opened the package from Jord I was highly impressed and I had not seen the watch at that point. So what was impressive about just opening the package? The watch arrived in a beautiful wooden box that smelled fantastic, it also came with bonus goodies like a brush on preserver for the watch wood. The wooden box it arrived in is the box you can store your watch it, it has a slotted middle and under it is a small baggie that helps control the humidity in the wood and it has a magnetic top. The watch itself is absolutely gorgeous, fits well and looks great with almost any outfit. Their Men's Watch selection is packed full of unique and beautiful watches.



The clasp is very easy to do one handed, it snaps together flawlessly and pops back open without any issues when you squeeze the release buttons. The watch requires no battery, it is self-winding which is pretty neat and crazy, it doesn't seem possible but you can see it moving all by itself. Size wise the watch isn't too bad bulk wise, and it is definitely and eye catching piece. The piece is doesn't move around a lot it likes to sit right on your wrist which means you won't have to fidget with it when you go to check the time.

Birthday $50 Gift Card Giveaway!

My Birthday is coming up in seventeen days so to celebrate I will be giving away two gift cards to one of my readers to not only celebrate my birthday but to celebrate how amazing my readers are. What will I be doing for my birthday? I am unsure at the moment, we usually go see a movie and go out for dinner. Guardians of the Galaxy 2 comes out the day before my birthday so I know that is what I would like to go see this year, as for dinner I have to wait and see how I am feeling by then on the last day of this month I will be getting some wisdom teeth removed so I don't know it it will be healed by my birthday weekend. I can be a little cheap at times so I also like stopping by a few of the places that do birthday freebies, such as a free large coffee from Dunkin Donuts and a free sub for lunch. February Beauty Prize Pack Giveaway!

Neocell sells a line of beauty products meant to work from within, what does this mean? Neocell creates a number of health and beauty products packed full of vitamins, antioxidants and more to help your body work it's best. For a recent review I received a bag of Beauty Bursts soft chews in chocolate mint & Beauty infusion cranberry splash.

The beauty bursts offer Collagen Type 1 & 3 For Firm, Smooth Skin & Strong Hair & Nails along with Hyaluronic Acid For Skin Hydration & Renewal and Vitamin C. It is all packed into one small daily chocolate mint square that you can eat when ever you please during the day, I found mine to be slightly hard almost like a now and later which I didn't necessarily like because the mint flavor was a little overwhelming and the texture of the square made it to where I had to keep chewing and chewing before I was able to swallow it. I may put this in the microwave for 5-10 seconds to soften it up or perhaps add it into your coffee as a sweetener. I like the powdered cranberry burst a lot better because I love cranberries and this little powder packs a lot of punch into one scoop, in a single scoop you will get 6,000 MG of NeoCell collagen Type 1 & 3 for firm, smooth skin &strong hair & nails,50 MG of Hyaluronic Acid for skin hydration & renewal,3,000 MCG of Biotin for support of strong hair & nail growth,Alpha Lipoic Acid & Vitamin C for protection from free radical damage & enhancement of collagen formation. Both products are easy on the stomach and don't leave me feeling like I will be sick which is a plus because sometimes my stomach can be pretty picky. My nails get pretty brittle in the winter and can break easily so I am looking forward to seeing more results from using these products.
