Kyoto Sweetsbox - A Japanese snack subscription box review!

Being able to try new snacks & sweets from other countries can be a lot of fun, especially when it arrives in the form of a subscription box. You never know what you might end up with! I recently received a box of snacks from a company called Kyoto Sweetsbox. Originally the review was just a collaboration to be posted on my Instagram, but I felt like posting about it here as well because we enjoyed the box quite a bit! So, I am going to give you a quick rundown on what we received in the box. You can purchase a single box for just under $37 a month, or you can purchase a longer subscription which will give you a discount on each month's box.

Each box not only comes with snacks & sweets, but it also comes with one Japanese inspired gift plus a booklet that talks about each item in the box, along with providing some information on Japanese traditions and more. Our box included fourteen different food items and two non-food gifts.

Here is a breakdown of the snacks we received:

⭐️ A beautiful fox mask
⭐️ Wet Wipes
⭐️ Chocolate Cake - This was a favorite; it was soft and delicate. It was chocolatey but not overly sweet.
⭐️ French Fries Snack - A type of crunchy potato chip.
⭐️ Handball Candy - Tasty with an almost buttery flavor, they are delicious.
⭐️ Hi-Chews - I love these & this was a softer version than the kind we have in stores near us.
⭐️ Sweet Yuzu-flavored Mochi - This was fun to eat & I liked the powdered sugar flavor.
⭐️ Supamucho Ume Flavor - Interesting taste, slightly spicy but sweet.
⭐️ Wasabi Flavored seaweed snacks - Not too spicy, actually pretty good.
⭐️ Apple Manjuu - A mini bunny shaped cake that is fluffy & not too sweet.
⭐️ Matcha Cappuccino + Uji Matcha Green Tea - I haven't tried this yet but will get to them soon.
⭐️ Koba Cheese Tart - This along with the chocolate cake were my favorites! I'd love more of this.
⭐️ Soba Manjuu Matcha Flavor - This had a bold unique flavor.
⭐️ Fava Bean Snacks - Crunchy, salty & a fun snack to eat.
⭐️ White peach jelly - a sweet & strong peach flavor.
⭐️ Happy Turn - A tasty rice dough based snack.
⭐️ Mochi sprinkled with soy flour - This was another fun treat to eat, they have a great consistency.

All of the snacks & treats included were full sized, I think this subscription is worth the cost. I like being able to try new things that aren't available near me or that I have never heard of before.

Try The World - Snack Box Review!

If you are a snacker & enjoy trying new treats, you should look into a subscription box like Try The World snack box. This is a snack subscription box that sends you treats from all over the world, so it is almost guaranteed that every box will have something you haven't tried before. It is always fun receiving a box from them & seeing what surprises are in store. A few days after Christmas I received a snack box that I was gifted by Try The World & it was packed full of goodies. Before I jump into what was in the box I received, let's talk a little about how much the subscription is. There are three different box sizes each with a different price, the cheapest box is $40 a month and comes with seven to nine snacks. The most expensive box comes with seventeen to twenty snacks and costs $70 a month. You can slightly lower the price of your boxes if you subscribe for a longer subscription than just purchasing one box at a time. All of the snacks in my box aside from some loose candies that were included were all full-sized products so you can be assured you will get your monies worth from the box.

My box had thirteen full sized treats along with some loose candies. There are four of us and there was enough in this box for all of us to try out some of the treats aside from the ramen & soup which we haven't tried just yet and one person will more than likely try them. With four different preferences there are some products that we all loved and others where only some of us enjoyed them. Let's get into what we found in our box.

★ Chicken Flavored Ramen + Potato Soup - I can't comment on either of these, as we haven't tried them out. I am looking forward to trying the soup and my daughter claimed the ramen.

★ Jellypse - A Belgian chocolate coated jellies. They have an interesting texture when eating them, it is crunchy on the outside like an M&M but the inside is chewy like a jelly bean. I didn't mind them, the two flavors mixed together was interesting. My son didn't mind them, but my daughter and husband weren't a fan.

★ Bon o Bon - They remind me of the Kinder chocolate brand. It is a type of crunchy wafer that is chocolate coated and has creamy peanut butter in the middle. They are delicious & we are all a fan of them. They were not overly sweet and made the perfect treat.

★ Totis Chips in two different flavors. My family seems to like the hot chili flavor the best, they have a nice crunch to them, they are light & have a nice amount of flavor to them.

★ Chocolinas - A type of chocolate cookies. They are a hard cookie, when eating them they reminded me more of a thick cracker or those cookie biscuits you can get. They were not overly sweet which is perfect for anyone who enjoys treats that aren't a punch of sugar.

★ Prima Pretzels - This one is pretty self-explanatory. They are a nice salty, tasty treat.

★ Arcor Turron & Mani Wafer - Unfortunately this is one that none of us liked. It is a wafter filled with nougat & peanuts. It has potential but the wafer itself wasn't very good.

★ Chewz Me Gummies - Sour Jelly filled gummies in the shape of turtles. This snack wasn't too bad, it reminded me of sour patch kids but thicker.

★ Short Bread Cookies - They had a lot of flavor & are pretty good with a little glass of milk. They are small crunchy cookies.

★ Bronhi Candy - They tasted like black licorice. My son enjoyed them, but I really don't like black licorice so they were a no for me.

★ Bananko - I've had these before and I love them. It is a banana flavored type of marshmallow that is covered in chocolate.

I really enjoyed that they provided an assortment of things to try from candy to soup & that there was sweet, salty and spicy in this box as it covered all of our personal preferences. It is fun being able to try new things that aren't available in our area, which is why I enjoy getting snack boxes like this. On accident I actually received two of the same snack box so I am going to include a pack of the gummies in this month's Beauty & The Book Box plus I will probably include both packs of extra cookies in next month's giveaway as well.

🍬 Does this sound like a subscription box you would enjoy? Out of the products I received, which would you want to try the most?

Munchie Mountain - Get Munchies delivered right to your door!

Munchie Mountain is a subscription box for all of you who are sweets & snack lovers! They offer a monthly subscription box for $49.95 a month. Each box will contain anywhere from 50-75 snacks of various sizes ranging from chocolate to chips. This month you will receive a Halloween themed snack box that includes items such as chips, popcorn, chocolate and much more. If you aren't really someone who is interested in a subscription box, they also offer boxes for one time purchase, they range in price from $34.95-$39.95.

I was lucky enough to receive one of the October boxes to check out & write a review on. My family & I are very happy with this box it is a great size for the four of us to share and each have something we enjoy in the box. It is still slightly hot out where I am, so after I had opened it and saw there was chocolate included, I popped the whole thing into the fridge to harden the chocolate again. I love that almost everything included had a Halloween theme or was a snack sized version like you would get out Trick-Or-Treating! I know it is silly, but I thought the mini bag of Doritos was so adorable, I've never seen a bag that small.

If you order this subscription box & are single or just a couple you can probably make this box stretch out for a while. For a family it works as well, there are four of us in our house and when we go to grab a munchie we might only grab one or two little treats at a time so this will last us for about two weeks with the kids also taking one or two things with them to school in their lunch boxes.

They even included a few non-food items which were some vampire teeth & Halloween stickers which my kids have been having fun with. Is the box worth the price point? I think that entirely depends on your budget and also what is included in the box. If it was nothing but the tiny Halloween candies, I would say probably not. However, there are some larger sized items and the assortment included in this was fantastic. Breaking it down everything in this box comes out to about $0.66 each as there are 75 pieces in this particular box. Everything was well packaged & arrived in one piece, I think a snack box would make a fun gift for a birthday or holiday surprise.

What do you think? Is this a subscription box you'd subscribe to, or would you just order a single box to try it out?

Explore the world through snacks with Try The World!

If you are someone who enjoys trying new snacks & treats from other countries, then you should look into a subscription box called Try The World. Every month they send out a box that contains snacks from all around the world. I was recently gifted a box to test out with my family & review here on my blog. Our box contained seven different products, six of which were food and the seventh was a drink. We had a lot of fun trying the different products together, only one of them was a product we have tried before otherwise everything was brand new to us.

The two products that were loved by all four of us, were the Kiki Tutti Frutti which is a popular candy in Serbia & Croatia, it is also the candy that we had already tried before. The second product was the Tottis Oregano chips which are from Greece, they were so delicious & completely full of flavor. I also really liked the Sesame Snack; I've tried something similar but not from this brand. It is primarily made from sesame seeds and honey which is then shaped into a snack shaped bar, I enjoy the flavor combo although I cannot eat more than one bar at a time.

From there the rest of the box was a little divided on who liked each product and who didn't. My daughter really enjoyed the Smoki original fresh baked peanuts & the Jowar Puffs. My son liked the Howar puffs as well, so both of my kids slowly finished the bag of puffs themselves. Sadly, none of us liked the drink or the mushroom chips though. I am really the only one who likes mushrooms, but they have to be cooked just right. The soda/drink was a sour flavor, we didn't really like it as it had kind of a bitter taste to it that is hard to describe. Overall, we were pretty happy with the box we received; it was fun trying some new snacks even if we didn't end up liking them. The snacks were big enough we were each able to try them and still have some left over.

There are three different sized boxes you can purchase that each have their own price point. There is the 7-8 snack box for $35 a month, 10-14 snacks for $45 a month or 16-20 snacks for $55 a month. If you subscribe for longer than a month you can get those prices lowered. After selecting your plan & how frequently you would like to receive a box, they do give you the option to select countries you'd like to try snacks from. You can choose as many or as few as you'd like, however if you do with a smaller selection, they cannot always guarantee that all your products for the month will come from that country. You can use code themoonlitnook0823 to get $10 OFF of your order.

Sweet Chaos Popcorn will satisfy your sweet tooth!

Popcorn can make a great snack or a dessert depending on what you put on it, sometimes it is a mess to make flavored popcorn on your own so buying a premade bag makes getting your favorite flavors very simple. A popcorn brand called Sweet Chaos who sells a wide range of popcorn flavors from savory to sweet so everyone should be able to find something they like. I was recently sent a few of their popcorn flavors to try out with my family & we have really been enjoying the popcorn so far.

The flavors we received to review were - White Chedder, Sea Salt, Kettle Corn, Black & White, Peanut Butter Cup and a fun collab they did with cold stone creamery which is a Cake Batter flavored popcorn. We haven't opened all of them yet, mainly because I know we won't eat this much popcorn at once and I don't want any of it to go stale. The first two flavors we opened up were white cheddar and also the cake batter. My kids mentioned right away that the cake batter popcorn (shown above) kind of tastes like lucky charms cereal, and I somewhat agree with that. It was sweet, but not overly sweet; it is perfect for when you want a small dessert since it isn't heavy on your stomach. The white cheddar was also flavorful & well balanced, surprisingly it went well side by side with the cake batter if you were eating both flavors one after the other.

When the cake batter popcorn was finished, we opened up the peanut butter cup next. It felt like it had slightly more chocolate drizzle than peanut butter, but it was a really good combination & was delicious. I have purchased their black & white popcorn before which we loved so I was happy to see that included as well, it is a mixture of white chocolate & milk chocolate drizzle. Both of these options are a good dessert option, if you are like us and just have a little bit of it at a time then a bag should last you a little while. I like that the popcorn isn't overly greasy or sticky, so your hands won't feel gross when eating this. Popcorn can also make a great addition to a slightly healthier snack tray such as the one I put together above that also includes strawberries and rice cakes. If you aren't sure where to find Sweet Choas popcorn, it can be purchased online, or their website has a "where to find" page that allows you to search for stores in your area that carry it. I checked it out for my area & it looks like we have two different big box stores that sell Sweet Chaos & every once in a blue moon I've seen it at the dollar tree as well, so I know where to stop by when I am craving more.

Which of the flavors mentioned in this post would you like to try? What is your favorite topping to add to popcorn?

Jax's Monster Snack Mix!

A great snack idea to have on hand whether you are at home or on the go is trail mix. There are tons of different trail mixtures so it is easy to find one you love, and there are always new mixes popping up to try. We recently received a box of original Monster Snack Mix from a company called Jax's to try out. This trail mix is natural, gluten-free and peanut-free, it's a mix of simple ingredients makes for a healthy, delicious snack.

The snack mix has a combination of chocolate covered sunflower seeds, sesame sticks, coconut chips along with a dried fruit mixture of pineapple, mango & papaya. Through their website you can buy three boxes which comes with a total of fifteen individual packages for $15 which means they are just $1 per packet. Each packet has 1oz of Monster mix in it, which might not seem like a lot, however it is just the right amount of snackage. The amount in the bowl shown in the image above/below came from one singular packet.

I am not a big fan of coconut chips so I picked those out of mine, but I really loved the rest of the mixture. My son was on the same page, he'd love a mix that didn't have the coconut chips but still had everything else. We all enjoy the sesame sticks & were happy to see them included. The Monster mix is filling & helps satisfy your sweet tooth. So if you are looking for a healthy snack, check this brand out! I also included one of the packets in this months Beauty & The Book giveaway so the winner can try it out as well.

Sips & Samples - July Review!

I recently received the chance to check out a subscription box from Sips and Samples, as soon as I got it open, I loved it! I've tried out quite a few subscription boxes and this has jumped to the top with some of my favorites. Every month Sips and Samples sends out a subscription box filled with some new drink products to try out along with snacks & full-sized beauty products. I was able to review the July box, it had a lot of amazing goodies a few of which I already know so it was nice to see some familiar favorites in with new products. There was a lot packed into this box, more than I was expecting. You can purchase a one-time box for $64.95 or purchase a longer subscription which gives you a slight discount each month.

My July box came with twelve products, five of them were to drink, two of them were snacks & five of them are beauty products. Let's break down what was included in the box;

Sparkling black & white teas from Trader Joes - Each box contains one black tea with peach & one white tea with pomegranate. I have not tried these as of yet, I am not always in the mood for tea, but will try to get to them soon.

Cold brew coconut cream latte from Trader Joes - I let my husband try out this one, he wasn't a fan of it as he said it tasted like it had gone sour. We enjoyed the chance to try it, but we wouldn't buy this one in store.

Smoothie mix from Fresh Success - We received the banana flavor mix. This is actually a product we already know & love, in fact when this arrived, I had a banana mix already in the kitchen. The kids and I love making smoothies with these for a quick treat.

Light lemonade powder packets from Wylers - This is another product we are familiar with & have bought to use in our house. I like how easy the packets are to use and that I can toss some in my purse for when I am on the go. This box came with five packets to use.

Cheese Crisps from Whisps - We love these in our home, we buy them frequently to eat as a snack or add onto our salads for a cheesy crunch. This was a smaller sized snack bag which is good for on the go, or a small snack at home.

Coffee Bombs from Nudge - I enjoy drinking coffee, but I am not huge into coffee flavored snacks to I wasn't sure if I was going to like these or not. They surprised me and are actually quite delicious, both my husband and I like snacking on a few of these at a time for a little pick me up of coffee flavor.

Handmade beach boho headbands from Scettar - This headband is beautiful; I love the floral pattern and how soft it is. It is a nice way to help keep the hair out of your face in summer, or a quick way to make a messy hair do look better.

Mini aromatherapy balms from Scentered - What a neat little set of aromatherapy balms, this comes with six different essential oil-based balms to use for a variety of reasons. I like the tin they come in & that they can fit into your pocket. I will however be putting this into the July Beauty & the book giveaway which will be up soon as I don't see myself remembering to use this.

Natural sunscreen from Mamalu - An easy to carry around sunscreen in a solid form with a reusable tin. I like the smell of this sunscreen, the application process and carrying method are alright I think I'd prefer this in a stick form though, so I don't have to rub my hands into the tin.

Mini moisturizing facial cleanser from Simple - I've seen the new packaging for this product a few times online & have been wanting to try it out as it is designed to help you easily get all of the product out of the package without wasting what you can't reach. This cleanser lathers well & leaves my skin feeling soft, I do wish it was a different scent though (but it won't stop me from using it).

Daisy facial toner from Beauty Papier - On looks alone this is a pretty neat product, it has actual daisy petals floating around the inside of the bottle like small dancing fairies. As with the product above I haven't tried this out quite yet as I don't like opening too many cleansing products at once, so I will use this once my other toner is finished.

Overall, I am pretty happy with the collection of products this subscription box came with. The boxes are just under $65 a box which can seem a little pricey when read or said out loud, so is the box really worth it? I went through each of the products included in this to find out how much they retail for, give or take a few dollars based on where you purchase all of these products from the total retail cost of these products came out to $96. So, you are saving about $31 if you were to outright buy all of these products. This box is a nice way to treat yourself to a nice surprise if you don't get to splurge on yourself often, I enjoyed the nice variety I received & was happy I didn't end up with random stuff I wouldn't use.

Head over to their website to learn more about their great subscription box, see pasts boxes or sign up to receive their next box. They also have an option to build your own box based off of extra inventory they currently have on hand, so you get to shop at a discounted price. Want to see other great subscription boxes I've reviewed? Type "Subscription box" into the search bar to bring up my past reviews.

SnackMagic Review & Giveaway!

Looking for a fun gift for a loved one, friend or even a co-worker? SnackMagic is a gift box that is completely customizable by the loved one you are sending the box to. You can also treat yourself instead if you are looking for some fun new snacks to try out.

So how does it work? You will start off by deciding if you'd like to send the box to someone else , or purchase one for yourself. If you decide to send it to someone else you can choose if you'd like the box to be just snacks, swag only or a combination of both. Along with snacks they also sell notebooks and more that can be selected. You'll set a price point for the package the giftee will be able to build their box with from a list of pre-set box prices. For my review I was sent a link to claim one of their $45 boxes and I will be hosting a giveaway for one as well.

When the recipient receives the link via email they will click on it to be taken to the SnackMagic website where they can start building their box. I had the option to select between snacks and swag, but choose to go with just snacks so I could share them with my family. They have a ton of different options to select from under a number of categories and price points, under each item is how much it costs & they will subtract that from your box total. Prices range from $0.99 for single snacks up to $30+ to purchase snacks in bulk. I was able to select quite a few snacks to load the box up at the $45 price point. Check out what I selected below:

I went with a variety of products I thought my family would want to try out and snack on with me, I selected some chocolates and more. At the end of selecting everything there was $0.35 left over which isn't enough to buy anything so I finished the process to hitting "check out" which is when I found that they have a "top off" feature. If you have change left over they will add a bonus item to your box to finish the order, you can select a random staff pick or choose the option to have them put something related to the items you already have in your box. I went with the random staff pick because I thought it would be fun.

Everything was packed up quickly & our box arrived in just a few short days. The only thing I would change about the shipping process is it would be nice to have cold packs added to prevent melt able items from melting. All of the items that had chocolate on or in them in this completely melted which turned some of the items into one big ball and the two chocolate bars were mis-shaped and that odd dusty chocolate color due to it melting then re-forming. We all enjoyed trying out these snacks, we found a few we really enjoyed and had fun with the staff pick too which was a jelly type candy with fruit in the middle.

This was a fun box to receive, and I think it would make a great gift for any occasion. Along with their gift boxes they also sell corporate/party type items like large snack trays, ready made draw string bags filled with snacks and more.

PRIZE ALERT:
One lucky winner is going to receive their own $45 Build your own box.

Spice up your lunches with Variety Box!

School has started again for the new school year which means it is time to start packing school lunches again, on the days that my children take a lunch with them I like spicing things up with different foods and snacks. Many of the boxes of snacks they sell at the store have a large assortment of just two or three snacks which can get a little boring, which is why the Variety Fun box is so amazing!

Variety Fun is a monthly snack subscription box that delivers a box packed full of goodies! They have two different subscriptions to select from you can buy a "Home Snacks" box or a "Office Snacks" box, they both have the same great products the only difference is the amount of snacks you receive + the price. The Office boxes have a ton in them which is perfect for if you want to treat your staff/co-workers, however if you'd prefer something small for just you and your family to enjoy I'd go with the Home Snacks option.

Once you click on Home Snacks, you'll see two different box choices. The first is the Fun Box which comes with 40 classic snacks for $24.99 a month, or you can select the Fit box that comes with 30 healthy snacks for $39.99 a month. I was recently sent a Fun Box to test out, and we love it!

The box has a great assortment of snacks ranging from sweet to salty and even some spicy. There was something in the box for all of us and our different flavor preferences, some of the treats we are as desserts during the week and many of the snacks were sent with the kids for school lunches. I really like that there were only one or two doubles of snacks because it gave us a wider variety, my husband however would like if there were a few more doubles so that when you get something you really like you have a second one. Our kids thought the experience was exciting and their eyes couldn't believe how much came out of the box.

We live in a state that is rather hot during the summer so I was happy to see they didn't put a bunch of melt-able chocolates or other candies in the box because it would have just been a mushy mess by the time it arrived. Everything was well packed and shipping was quick! My husband and I are discussing ordering more of these boxes because we enjoyed this box so much and you can't find anything like it at the store.

If you are looking to order they have a discount code up on their site which makes your first box only $19.99! The code is FUN20.

Snack healthier with Wicked Crisps

Many people are snackers who enjoy nibbling and snacking on snacks through-out the day, my family is no different, we enjoy a good snack and like to keep munchies in the house. Snacking isn't always the healthiest thing to do so we like keeping lots of healthier options around like apples, bananas, apple sauce, carrots, etc. but sometimes you get a craving for something crunchier like chips. Wicked Crisps is a healthier option to traditional potato chips, as described on their website "Wicked Crisps are the surprisingly healthy, baked chip with an irresistible, delectable taste. Chocked full of nutrition from veggies, herbs, and spices, in a variety of unique flavors, Wicked Crisps is a guilt-free treat for your taste buds"

I was recently sent four different flavors to try out with my family, we received Red Curry Hummus, Cheesy Cheese Pizza, Spring Vegetable Medley, and Sweet Potato Souffle. They also offer Roasted Garlic with Asiago Cheese, Spinach Parmesan, and Sea Salt with Hummus. Prior to last month, I had never heard of Wicked Crisps but I was immediately drawn to their packaging and flavors because they fit in with what I normally look for flavor wise. My kids are six and ten, both can be a bit picky with food so how well did these stand up to my two little critics? Let's find out!

Before getting into what we thought of each flavor I want to note that the serving size on each is a pretty decent size, the crisps themselves are about 2 1/2-3" long and puffy so they are quite filling. These crisps are made in a facility that processes products with soy so beware if you have a soy allergy, I also wanted to point out some of these products have milk/honey solids so check the ingredients list if you are vegan. You can find Wicked Crisps online via Amazon or in-store at various Food Lion locations, in the near future they will be available at TJ Maxx and Marshalls as well.

We think the Sweet Potato Souffle (shown above) is more of a dessert crisp for when your sweet tooth is calling but you don't want candy or sweets. You can see in the photo above that each one is dusted with sugar and brown sugar. These give you the perfect balance of sweet and crunch with each bite! With the combination of the sugar and vanilla baked into this we all thought they tasted a little like those marshmallows they put in cereal, we just couldn't quite place our finger on the exact cereal brand it reminded us of. You don't need a ton of these to feel satisfied, five or six does the trick so this bag will last a while. Each bag contains four servings (about 21 crisps), which contains 120 calories and 23g of carbs.

Cheesy Cheese Pizza was the clear favorite of the four, in fact it was enjoyed so much I don't have a photo of the pizza crisps on their own since there were no crisps left to take a photo of. The crisp had a wonderful aroma and are packed full of flavor, they start out with a tomato crisp and load it up with cheesy goodness. They tasted great on by themselves or if you are a dipper they go well with various dips as well. Each bag contains four servings (about 21 crisps), which contains 120 calories and 22g of carbs.

Spring Vegetable Medley (shown in the image, above left) is a mixture that contains five different unique vegetable flavors which are tomato, spinach, broccoli, sweet potato, and field pea. I didn't think these were too bad however, my kids said they found them a bit bland and wished they had a little more seasoning to them. If you are feeling the same, they go well with a veggie dip to add a bit more flavor. Each bag contains four servings (about 21 crisps), which contains 120 calories and 22g of carbs.

Curry isn't typically a flavor I would purchase myself, simply because I've never tried it and I think of "spicy" when I hear it so going into this I wasn't sure how I'd feel about the Red Curry Hummus flavor. I am actually a pretty big fan of this flavor, it has so many bold and delectable flavors trying just one made me want to make a small bowl of them all for myself. The red curry wasn't spicy like I thought it was going to be, I can't quite describe or compare it to anything as it was an all new flavor to me. For anyone who loves curry or wants to try out something with curry that isn't also loaded with hot spicy flavors, I highly suggest giving these a try. My son didn't think they were too bad, but my daughter and husband didn't like them so I pretty much get the bag to myself. Each bag contains four servings (about 21 crisps), which contains 110 calories and 19g of carbs.

Chedz Giveaway & Review!

**This was not a paid post. My honest opinions were used, they are solely my own & they may vary from others. The products mentioned below have been provided by Chedz for the review & giveaway free of charge.**

Do you love cheese? If the answer is yes then you will love Chedz, What is Chedz? They are a flavorful, cheesy and wholesome snack produced with great care by Hall Brands. They offer seven delicious flavors and several of those flavors are gluten free. The flavors are Mild, Spicy, Gluten Free Mild, Gluten Free Spicy, Gluten Free Peppercorn, Gluten Free Mexi, Gluten Free Chia.

Some of my family members are big cheese fans, they love string cheese, cheese on crackers, etc so I knew these would be a big hit in the house. Two of the bags were opened and two bags were taken over to my mothers house for the football game before I was even able to find time to take photos of them so that really tells you how much everyone loved them. They are great to snack on, they have the consistency of a cracker but are packed full of cheesy flavors. I am sadly not one of the bigger cheese fans in my family so I can only eat about five or six of these before I feel full but they are pretty tasty, my favorite is the mild. All of the Chedz are pretty consistent in size and measure about as long as my pinky finger and the width is about the same as well, so they are a pretty decent sized snack. A suggested serving size is about 10 sticks.

Not only are they great for snacking but they are also wonderful for cooking with. You can use the Chedz as a replacement in almost any recipe that calls for bread crumbs or crumbled crackers that you'd like to have a cheesy flavor layer to it. I used my Chedz in place of the crackers that my meatloaf recipe called for. They crumbled perfectly and mixed in with the meat well, I did note they seemed to cook faster than crackers do so the edges may get a little crispy but to me they were perfect and really gave the meat loaf a elevated taste to them! I have also added these to my salads in place of adding croutons and parmesan cheese. Careful though they are tasty and will leave you wanting more so the bag will be empty before you know it! Not sure what you'd like to cook with them? The Chedz website has a whole page of recipes you can try out.

One lucky winner is going to win Seven bags of the assorted Chedz flavors + a Chedz fidget spinner.

MuchPak Review!

**This was not a paid post. My honest opinions were used, they are solely my own & they may vary from others. The products mentioned below have been provided by MunchPak for the review free of charge.**

One of my favorite things about snack subscription boxes is that you get the chance to try snacks from all over the world. MunchPak is one of the subscription boxes that helps widen your snack palette by sending you different snacks in each month's box. I was recently sent one of these boxes to try out for a review and the products I received can be seen below (I received the classic box):

The box included twelve different snacks that ranged from salty to sweet. Something I would enjoy seeing in this box is a card with information on what each snack is, several of the snacks are from over seas so they are in their native language and it is hard to tell what they are and what is in them or a way to find out easily what they are. I like the selection of different textured snacks they included in the box I received and I like that they came from different parts of the world. There are enough snacks in this one box for 2-3 people if you are willing to share that is, otherwise one person could eat this over the course of a few days to a week depending on how often you like to snack.

MunchPak has a section where you can customize your box they have fifteen different options to choose from which include Nuts,Salty, Sweet, Candy, Chips, etc to narrow down your likes a little bit. I've tried a few snack boxes in the past but I am happy to say every single product in this box was a new snack to me, I haven't tried or heard of almost all of these snacks. I have not tried all of these yet but what I have tried I have highly enjoyed, I think my favorite were the two wafer treats with hazelnut/chocolate spread and the chocolate filled crepe. This was also the first snack subscription box that I've tried that came with a drink! They offer three different sized boxes a 5+ snacks, 10+ snacks and a 20+ snacks, the shipping was quick and everything was packed well nothing came crushed or smashed which is a big bonus. None of the snacks I've tried in this pack so far have been odd tasting or bad, everything has been fairly neutral and tasty which is good because I am not a big fan of spicy or overly sour treats.
