Parragon Books Jan Book Box!

**This was not a paid post. My honest opinions were used, they are solely my own & they may vary from others. The products mentioned below have been provided by PaRragon for the review free of charge.**

One of my favorite days of the month is when I come home to find a purple package waiting for me with a capital P on it because that means our book buddy box for the month has arrived. This post will go over last months (January) box of books and the adventures they hold.

Walk With Me written by Margaret Wise Brown;  This is such an adorable book when it comes to both the story and illustrations. It is a rhyming bedtime story created to encourage sweet dreams of nature and they managed to create quite a charming story setting. The story is just long enough that it will keep your child's attention while reading it to them and with the cute creatures you will spot on the pages of the book they won't want to take their eyes off of it either. My children and I highly enjoy this book and plan on keeping it in our collection for many years to come. The retail value on this book is $9.99 usd.

Disney Princess Wipe-clean Activity Book; This book is great for road trips, doctor office visits, etc because it allows your child to do different drawing and puzzle activities over and over again. One of my favorite activities in this book is the page that asks you to draw Mrs. Potts from Beauty & The Beast, once finished you wipe it clean and create a tea pot design of your own. The pen included with this book is attached to the book via a string which helps keep the pen with the book because what good is the book without the erasable pen? Most of the activities in this book are fairly simple so I would suggest getting this book for a child that is on the younger side (3-6). The retail value on this book is $9.99 usd.

Disney Tangled The Series "The Dreamer In Me" ; Out of all the books we received in this months box, this book is my daughters favorite. This activity journal is great for older children and it offers a ton of hands on activities such as doodle pages, thought inspiring question pages, sticker pages and more. You will get 128 pages packed full of fun plus there is a slide lock pocket at the back of the book to store stickers, pens, etc to use with your journal which is nice because you won't have to go hunt down a pen to use. The plastic cover will help keep your journal protected from spills or food smudges. I am almost a little jealous with how nice this journal is, I wish they offered an adult version. I personally like the size of the book because it makes it easy to carry around with you on trips. The retail value of this book is $12.99 usd.

Disney Princess Mini Collectors Tin; A fun filled tin featuring a sixty-four page activity book, 20+ stickers and a sticker scene to keep your little princess entertained and all of it comes in a little storage tin that can be reused for a number of things. This is a cute little tin that would make a good Easter basket or Christmas stocking stuffer for the Disney lover in your life. The tin only measures about 6" x 4" so it is great for traveling and will fit right into your purse or back pack. My kids thought the sticker scene was pretty neat because it allows you to use your imagination to create what ever you'd like.

All of these books can be purchased on Amazon and all for under $10.

Shamrock Farms Cold Brew Review!

**This was a sponsored ad post provided by BSM Media & Shamrock Farms. My honest opinions were used, they are solely my own & they may vary from others.**

I don't drink coffee daily but I do like to drink it when I need an extra energy boost to help power me through my day or if I need help staying up for a late night. I generally don't like to drink hot coffee and prefer to drink iced coffee so when I was presented a chance to try out Shamrock Farms new Cold Brewed Coffee + Milk I couldn't wait to try it out. The information I was provided on the product is as follows: "Shamrock Farms Cold Brew Coffee and Milk is smoother and less acidic than regular coffee with a slightly sweet flavor and 2x the caffeine of regular coffee. Pure and fresh, and artificial hormone-free, Shamrock Farms milk is added to cold-brewed coffee, creating a deliciously smooth and slightly sweet beverage with natural caffeine perfect to power you through your day."

The Cold Brew can be found at Fry's Food Stores in the dairy isle, be sure to check near where they keep the regular small bottles of flavored milks as that is where my local Fry's store had them located which almost made me miss them. My store carried three flavors original, vanilla and mocha I picked vanilla and mocha for my husband and I to try out with breakfast.

I tested out the vanilla and my husband tried the mocha. I like that the bottles are easy to grab on the go and that the lids are resealable. I enjoyed the vanilla but had to add a bit more creamer to mine because it was a bit too strong for me but it was perfect for my husband who has always preferred more of an actual coffee taste vs a sweet taste like I do. Each bottle had just the right amount of coffee and the mocha had a coco taste to it which was nice.

Xehar Curvy Review!

**This was not a paid post. My honest opinions were used, they are solely my own & they may vary from others. The products mentioned below have been provided by XeharCurvy for the review free of charge.**

I am always on the look out for cute new pieces to add to my wardrobe that are both comfortable and stylish so when I was offered a chance to work with Xehar Curvy on a review of their clothing I jumped at the chance. They have a lot of cute clothing on their website so it was hard to settle on just one thing, but I ended up going with the Anne Floral Sheath Dress.

The Anne Floral Sheath Dress features a tropical floral print on a navy cloth, the fabric they used is actually quite comfortable and soft to the touch I was pleased with how well the material breathed and how light weight it was. However I didn't quite like the fit, the shape of the dress ended up being larger than expected so it was a bit too large and felt more like I was in a puffy suit than in a pretty dress. I was hoping the fit was better as I have a large chest and this dress does offer plenty of room to hold everything in, but seeing as how I wasn't quite happy with it I gave it to someone I know would love it and they did (plus it fit nicely) so it was a win-win for us both. This dress is 95% Polyester 5% Spandex and can be purchased on their website for $29.99, the shipping was speedy and the dress arrived without any issues.

PaRragon Books December Review!

**This was not a paid post. My honest opinions were used, they are solely my own & they may vary from others. The products mentioned below have been provided by PaRragon for the review free of charge.**

As many of you know I was on a short hiatus due to various reasons, I do have a few posts to get caught up on so I will be getting those started along with bringing some new content your way as well. PaRragon books has a book program for bloggers that offers a look at a few of their books each month and my kids love when the box shows up on our door because it is always packed full of fun. This post is sharing the box I received in December so it will contain a few Christmas related books.

Things You Never Knew About Santa Claus; This is a fun and entertaining book for small kids and I am sure a few big kids would get a kick out of this book as well. It goes over things such as why Santa has rosy cheeks and a round belly,  and it features him doing a number of silly and crazy things. Did you know Santa has a dragon named Blaze? Neither did I until we read this book together. The kids got a kick out of this book and it was a fun book to read during the holidays. I see my kids maybe reading this once or twice during the year otherwise I think this will be a seasonal book for us to read together. The illustrations were well done, colorful and kept the attention of my youngest. It is a thirty two page book and it has a hard cover, it is best suited for ages 3-6.

Creative Experience; This is a crayola Beatles themed activity book great for fans of all ages who love the Beatles. I personally have never been a fan of the Beatles so this wasn't a book that really made me excited, but I have some family members I know would love this so it was a win-win. The book offers several different activities that range from coloring to word coding and puzzles. This book is sixty-four pages of creativity and the paper type if is printed on is actually quite nice, I don't see this activity book falling apart from too much use like some cheap coloring or activity books can/will.

Hello Christmas; This is a cute Christmas themed peek-a-boo book for toddlers ages 6-24 months, it has vivid colors printed on board which means it can stand up to being beat up a little bit from your toddler. It is a short book and a short story which is perfect for the age range since they are usually distracted easily and will quickly be on their way to doing something else. This book is a bit on the younger side for my children but it was still a pretty cute book!

The Littlest Snowman; This is another cute Christmas toddler book for ages 0-24 months, it features a cute little snowman puppet and a short seven page story that is easy to follow along with and offers eye catching graphics. It is a board book which is great for this age range because it can stand up to quite a bit from young children.

Marvelous Mixed Puzzles; As the title suggest this book offers a marvelous mixture of puzzles and it includes a little bit of everything. One of my favorite things to do to de-stress a little bit and get my mind off of things is to play Sudoku so I was happy to see this book included that along with crossword puzzles, number links, word chains and more it offers over two HUNDRED puzzles!! It is sure to keep you entertained for several hours and is just the right size to throw into your purse or backpack to easily carry it around with you for when you are stuck in the doctors office, on a bus or just somewhere not that entertaining. I am really enjoying this book and I am glad they included it.

All of these books can be purchased on Amazon and all for under $10.
