Super Nails Giveaway & Review

****This was not a paid post and my honest opinion was used. The opinions are solely my own and may vary from others. The products mentioned below have been provided by Super Nails for the review & giveaway free of charge.****

I love video games, comics and watching movies one of my all time favorites as many of you know is Batman. When I found some comic inspired nail polish by Super Nails on etsy I couldn't pass them up. KC the owner of Super Nails has allowed me to do a review & giveaway of her Comic inspired polishes, she also has a large selection of non comic book polishes for ever season. For my review I received the following polishes: Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy, Wonder Woman, and Loki I was sent the Mini bottles. All Super Nails polishes are 5-FREE, vegan, and free of formaldehyde, toluene, dibutyl phthalate (DBP), formaldehyde-resin, camphor, and carmine.

Customer service is A+ the owner is friendly, speedy at replies and talented when it comes to creating beautiful polishes. The polish arrived wrapped in bubble wrap to prevent damage during shipping, It also came with a Thank you note which included a helpful tip to "Dab" the polish on verses brushing it on. Each polish is quite unique here is a description of each; Harley Quinn: Clear polish base with black and red diamonds and glitters. Poison Ivy: Clear polish base with dense tiny holographic green for her skin, larger green hexes for leaves and red hexes for Poison Ivy's hair. Wonder Woman: Clear polish base with gold, red and blue hex glitters and white stars, just like Wonder Woman's uniform! & Loki: Clear polish with dark matte green, metallic gold and black glitters to capture Loki's theme colors.

My personal favorite is the Poison Ivy, It suits the character perfectly I love that it has the larger green hexes for the leaves and the red speckles for her hair. I actually received a few compliments on this polish within the first few hours of wearing it, I plan on wearing it quite often and will need to buy a larger bottle soon. My second favorite is the Loki the colors mix well and I enjoy how it looks, I plan to use it over a base coat of green and black. The Harley Quinn & Wonder Woman are tied when it comes to how much I like the both of them I enjoy the Diamond and Star glitter that was in each container, how ever I wish there we a few more stars in my wonder woman bottle I couldn't for the life of me get the stars to come out of the bottle it was the only one I had an issue with. The polish applies nicely I am a little sloppy when it comes to painting my right hand but any spots that ended up on the skin were easy to clean, the polish dried fast and looked great. I applied two clear coats to keep the glitter protected, If you have read any of my polish reviews you will know that I LOVE glitter polish. The only thing I don't like with some glitter polishes is how much the glitter sticks out from the nail and leaves it feeling sandy, I didn't have that issue with the Super Nail polish I received everything laid flat and smooth. It is no lie that all polishes have a small to them sometimes when using a heavily harsh scents polish my fiance will have me go to the other side of the room as it makes his head hurt, these polishes have a light scent and can't be detected unless you place the polish right under your nose. I plan on buying a larg size version of the Poison Ivy polish and will be checking out some of her other polishes as well. Mini Polishes are $3.99 a bottle and Full sized bottles are $7.99, The Mini bottles are great for testing out each polish but if you find one you know you will be using often I suggest going for the full sized bottle. Super Nails sells Internationally so anyone is free to pick up a bottle or two.

Prize Alert:

One Lucky reader is going to win a set of 5 Mini Batman & Villains which includes: Batman, Poison Ivy, The Joker, Robin & Harley Quinn Retail Value: $17.95.

This Giveaway is open to US Readers, How ever if you are International you can enter but would need to pay the shipping charges.

When I am outside the home I am frequently using my phone sometimes I run into one tiny issue, I forget to charge my phone at times which leads to a dead cell phone and I am not always in my car where I can use my car charger. Sock Club Review & Giveaway

****This was not a paid post and my honest opinion was used. The opinions are solely my own and may vary from others. The products mentioned below have been provided by The Sock Club for the review & giveaway free of charge.****

I remember when I was a kid, Socks were something you were kind of bummed to get as a Birthday or Christmas gift though we didn't say anything because we didn't want to be ungrateful. Now that I am older socks is something I hope I will get for Christmas, working almost everyday gives you holes and thin spots so getting new soft and fluffy socks is always welcomed. When I was offered to host a review and giveaway from the Sock Club I couldn't refuse. How did it all start? "The Sock Club began when founders Dane and Noah made an outrageously silly bet over a contested corn hole match. The bet left them thinking about what they could do with a small fortune. The answer was obvious: buy great socks! It was that day they decided to sell socks actually worth wearing. They would share their love of socks with the world."

My package arrived quickly although I do have to say when I opened it I was a bit confused, I thought I received a package from Hogwarts until I realized it was from the Sock Club. I enjoy the way they wrapped the socks, it shows they took the time to prepare each packaged vs shoving a pair of socks into each one and shipping them off. It was a fun and creative way to hide the pair of socks until it was all unwrapped. I received a pair of adorable Austin Skyline Socks, this pair of socks features Green,Blue and Purple stripes between the blue and green stripes you will find a Silhouette of the Austin Skyline which is cut in half leaving half on each ankle. When you place your ankles together it completes the picture, I not only think this is adorable but find it suits me in a way as I have similar feet tattoos that combine to make one image when I place my feet together. The sock club has friendly customer service and they are speedy to reply to any questions you may have.

The subscription cost $12 a month, You will received one delivery every month around the same time with your pair of socks for that month. You won't get an ordinary pair of white or black socks those are boring instead you will get something bright, colorful and creative that will make you smile. If you skipped a month or didn't sign up in time to receive a pair you wanted there is no need to worry they have all of their past socks available on their websites shop which you can purchase anytime. This would make a great gift for anyone in your life and would make a creative Fathers day gift. This subscription box could be for either a woman or a man, I find the designs lean more towards men but anyone can wear the designs.

PRIZE ALERT:
The sock club is offering one lucky reader a Three Month sock subscription. This is open to US & Canadian Residents only.

Wantable Review

****This was not a paid post and my honest opinion was used. The opinions are solely my own and may vary from others. The products mentioned below have been provided by Wantable for the review  free of charge.****

Just like with makeup no two makeup subscriptions are alike, I recently stumbled upon a subscription company called Wantable who creates personalized makeup, accessories, and intimates boxes to fit each woman perfectly. I received a wonderful opportunity to review one of their boxes, I had my choice to pick one of their three boxes I decided to go with the makeup box. The sign up process was easy and fun to fill out it is the most in depth sign up process I have been through, some subscription boxes have you pick out just things such as "Which design do you like best below" and give you one of their boxes based on that. The Wantable subscription box goes one step further by asking you what kind of products you like using a gauge on the site for "Like" "Dislike" and "Neutral" it then goes over each item asking what shades you like, if you prefer liquid, gel or liquid for eyeliners and eye shadow and much more. I couldn't wait to see what they sent me based off what I gauged my likes and dislikes at.

The shipping was speedy and I couldn't believe how well packaged this subscription box is. I am used to received subscription boxes with everything just thrown in the box and shipped many don't include any packing peanuts or cushion but my Wantable box had two layers of cushion keeping the makeup from bouncing around the box and protecting them from damage in case of an accident. I am very happy and impressed with the selection I was sent to review, I received the following products; Face Stockholm eyelashes #2, MiA BelleZZa ultimate eye pencil in Dark brown, Sorme 'Get a brow gel 937 Dark Brown', A Micheal Marcus prime foundation brush, Micheal Marcus Lipstick in the color 'Debbie' and a sample of Echo Via Organic body oil. The subscription box is $36 a month with a subscription or $40 a month without, The products I received have a retail value of $93.50 so I would 100% say the price is worth the products you receive in the package.

All of the products included in my box are products I would personally buy while shopping for cosmetics, their detailed sign up process did a wonderful job pairing me up with the perfect products. There are too many great items in this box to choose a favorite but if I absolutely had to I would say the Micheal Marcus prime foundation brush is my favorite the bush is the perfect size and super soft. Next in line favorite wise would be the Micheal Marcus Lipstick in the color 'Debbie' and the Face Stockholm eyelashes #2, The Debbie lipstick is a lovely shade it is somewhere in the scale between Red and Pink, It isn't a shocking red but it does give a very lovely "Pop" of color to your lips without over doing it.On special occasions I like wearing false eyelashes, as a mom of two small kids I normally stick with a simple makeup routine but on Date nights, Concerts, Holidays, ect I like to add false eye lashes to my look to give it more of a vibrant look I haven't used these yet but they look like they will work wonders. I have been working on my eye brows more, like many women I never thought they made a huge difference I kept them well groomed but nothing more than that until I realized filling them in can really change a look, I don't do it every day but like to do it as often as possible so I was very happy they included the eye brow items. Want to see what items might be in your box? Head over to their website and see what they have to offer, it is well worth trying out for a month and if you love it why not sign up for more? Shipping is always free and you can cancel, return, or skip a month at any time! This would be a wonderful Valentines gift for a friend, mother, sister or wife/girlfriend in your life.

#Disneyside @Home Party Announcement.

****I received free products in order to host the Disney Side @Home Celebration. The opinions expressed here are my own. I would like to thank both Disney Parks and MomSelect for providing me with this opportunity.****

I received an exciting opportunity, I was recently selected as one of the bloggers hand selected to host a #Disneyside @Home party. Between February 15th and March 1st, 2014 everyone selected to be a host will be having a party on their date of choice, I have picked February 22nd as my party date and I have been brain storming on all the fun and wonderful ways I can show off my love for Disney. Each host has or will be receiving a party kit, each kit is based of the age of the children in the house hold the theme I received was Mickey Mouse! Disney Parks sent all the hosts a large and awesome suit case packed with our party supplies. The supplies are enough to invite ten children to the Disney party, How ever I plan on having more children at my party so I will be heading out to get a few more supplies.

What did I receive in my party kit? I received some wonderful party essentials/basics such as cups, plates, napkins, a table cloth and decorations along with a few party favors, two cookie cutters, cupcake wrappers, HP photo card packs which I unfortunately won't be able to use as I don't own a printer *insert sad face here*. The kits also came with a luggage tag to go with our suit case, party games, a Disney vacation planning DVD and a few other small items.

I have been planning a lot for this party, Since I will be having children mostly between the ages of 3-9 I wanted to find a food I knew they would eat without too much hassle so I will be making Mickey Mouse shaped PB & J's, actual food wise that is the only thing I can think of for now most of my Disney inspired treats are sweets but I don't want to over stuff the children on sweets so I will be looking for more child friendly foods and will more than likely be making some of the Disney Inspired foods I find online. I am having a hard time deciding if I want to make cupcakes or if I want to make Mickey Mouse shaped ice cream sandwiches. Thank you Disney Parks & MomSelect for my party kit we love everything in it and the suit case is amazing, I can't wait to throw my party and have all the children come over to show off their Disney Side.

I am going to see what I can put together as a special Disney prize package!

****This was not a paid post and my honest opinion was used. The opinions are solely my own and may vary from others. The products mentioned below have been provided by ldamarysl for the review & giveaway free of charge.****

I have a big purse and saying 'Big' is an understatement, Any time I bring my mascara or eyeliner along it takes me a long time to dig through my purse to find it in the mist of all my belongings. My solution is a new zip pouch to hold my makeup needs, A little etsy shop called ldamarysl makes and sells some of the cutest zip pouches I have seen in a while, they currently offer four fun designs a totoro bag, a corgi bag, a beauty and the beast bag and a adorable corgi loki bag.

I have received the chance to do a review of the Totoro inspired bag and offer a giveaway here for one of my lucky readers. The packaged arrived to me in less than four days and was well packaged the pouch arrived in bubble wrap to keep the zipper safe on its journey to my house. The pouch itself is extremely well made not a single stitch is out of place and the pouch not only looks wonderful but feels wonderful, The fabric is soft and the inside is a deep purple fabric that really pops. Bag measures approximately 6 inches wide and 4 inches tall which is the perfect size to hold your makeup essentials and be able to easily find in a large purse such as the one I own. Each bag may be slightly different from the last as the print on the fabric is hand done by the shop owner Damarys, All items are made to order and may take a few days to make. Aside from makeup this bag can also be used for credit cards, cash, change and more and would make a great addition to any gift. Along with hand drawn and hand made zipped pouches ldamarysl also sells wooden boxes, pillows, buttons, picture frames, and journals all in various designs such as Zelda and DC inspired Hello Kitties. Letters Earrings Review

****This was not a paid post and my honest opinion was used. The opinions are solely my own and may vary from others. The products mentioned below have been provided by Letters Earring for the review free of charge.****

I only own one ring which is my engagement ring but I have been wanting to get more so I started searching around which is when I found Letters Earring on etsy. Letters Earring offers rings, earrings, Bracelets, Anklets and necklaces in both gold and silver they have dozens of options to choose from but the one that caught my eye was the Batman; Open Bat Symbol ring in silver.

I was recently sent a silver open bat symbol ring for review purpose here on my blog, Seeing as it shipped from South Korea it has a speedy shipping time. The ring arrived in an adorable small blue box with a bow on top, the ring was in perfect condition. The ring is light weight, the band is thin but sturdy usually with rings with a band this thin you can "smush" between your fingers and make the band bend but that isn't the case with this ring. The bat symbol itself is filed down and polished to make sure none of the edges are sharp and prevent it from catching on anything such as clothing or hair which would cause issues and possible injuries. The ring I received fits my pinky finger  perfectly I have been wearing it since I received it and have had no issues with it slipping off, catching on anything or bugging me in anyway it is a cute and simple design that fits my personality. The ring sells for $13.80 plus shipping and handling in the Letters Earring etsy shop you can choose from a silver or gold ring, please not this ring only comes in a size 6.5 US sizing. I will personally be coming back to their shop when I feel like buying more jewelry I love a few dozen of the items they sell everything is dainty and adorable which is just the way I like it. Head over to their shop to see what they have in store for you.

Super Sexy Nail Art Giveaway & Review

****This was not a paid post and my honest opinion was used. The opinions are solely my own and may vary from others. The products mentioned below have been provided by Super Sexy Nail Art for the review & giveaway free of charge.****

When I get the chance I love having my nails done, Now that I no longer bite them they look healthier and have grown to a nice length. My only issue is that I am horrible when it comes to designing my own nails, one maybe two colors is the extent of my nail art experience. The easiest way for me to get cute nails without messing anything up is with nail decals & I have found my new favorite nail decal store called Super Sexy Nail Art on etsy.

Super Sexy Nail Art has a few hundred nail decals in their store that range from Mickey Mouse ears to Loki decals some are smaller sized decals and others are full nail decals. I recently received three sets of nail decals for review two sets of pentagram decals which I will be using for a spooky Halloween look later this year and a Wonder Woman full nail set. My package arrived in a speedy manner and was well packaged into separate baggies, Every set of decals comes with a clear and easy to follow set of directions. I found the process to be quite fast, simple and fun. Each decal takes less than one minute to apply, to get the decal off of the paper you simply need to let it sit in a bowl of water for 10-30 seconds then you will be able to apply it to your nail.

I personally love these decals they apply smooth and look great, Depending on the decal you purchase they look best with light colored nail polish or even no nail polish. Once the decal is securely on your nail it won't go anywhere until you remove it with nail polish remover, this is a huge plus as I do a lot with my hands both at home and at work I don't want to have to worry about my nails and these take my mind off of that. I am apparently horrible at cutting out designs without almost cutting the one next to it so I would suggest using a small pair of scissors suck as the kind that come in nail care kits or brow care kits. The smaller decals are $2.45 for a single sheet and the full nail decals are $4.99 which I think is a wonderful price considering how many of the decals come on a sheet. The shop owner is sweet, friendly and fast at responding to questions about the products in her shop.

PRIZE ALERT:
One lucky winner will receive ALL of the My Little Pony Decals you see in the image above that is nine sheets of decals.

Dr. Door Mat Review

****This was not a paid post and my honest opinion was used. The opinions are solely my own and may vary from others. The products mentioned below have been provided by Dr. Door Mat for the review free of charge.****

With two small kids keeping the floor clean is important to me, My biggest problem is near the front door we have a tree right outside and leaves are constantly getting into the house when the door opens. I recently found a company called Dr. Door Mat who sells the first antimicrobial treated doormat designed for home use. The mat is infused during the manufacturing process with a specially formulated antimicrobial that permanently bonds to the fibers of the doormat and cannot be tracked through your home. Dr. Doormat is attractive and ideal for all entrances of your home, providing protection for you and your family throughout the life of the product. For allergy and asthma sufferers, placing Dr. Doormat outside the bedroom or on the floor by the bed offers an additional line of defense against dust mites and other allergens. Throughout your home it’s nice to know that Dr. Doormat is working for you 24/7.

We have a small wood section on the inside of our front door and this mat is the perfect size to fit right in that wood area. This mat is unique from the others I have had in the past not just because of the antimicrobial treatment, instead because of how the mat has raised circles all around it which help trap large pieces of mud, rocks, leaves or other similar materials that get tracked into the house on your shoes. The mat is light weight and easy to clean I simply run my vacuum over it and it looks brand new, I have noticed a large decrease in the amount of leaves that end up in my living room there is almost nothing tracked from the door into my living room now. This mat works well and I am glad to have it in my home, I may even buy some for my mothers house. Dr. Door Mat comes in two sizes Apartment Size: 18" x 24" x 3/8" & House Size: 24" x 36" x 3/8" and is available in four colors Charcoal Gray, Chocolate Brown, Peacock blue &Autumn Red.  They are working on a new Pet Dr Door Mat keep your eyes out for it or like them on facebook to stay updated.

Wee Gallery Review

****This was not a paid post and my honest opinion was used. The opinions are solely my own and may vary from others. The products mentioned below have been provided by Wee Gallery for the review free of charge.****

My son is turning one in eight days, Every day he is learning more and talking more he learns a lot from his older sister. When his sister was younger we had quite a few sets of flash cards which were ruined over time so when I received the chance to review a set of Jungle art cards for baby by Wee Gallery I was extremely excited. The Jungle set includes a bear, lion, monkey, parrot, snake and zebra each card is printed on recycled board and measures 5"x7" the cards are a nice thickness as well.

My package arrived within four days from the other side of the United States & was well packaged. These cards are simply adorable even the box they come in is something you will want to hold onto not just to keep the cards in but because of the artwork. All the cards are thick which will allow your child to play with these cards without them getting ruined, the corners are round to prevent any poked eyes or jabbed cheeks. One side of the card is white with the animal drawn in black and the other side is black with the animal drawn in white along with the animals name. My son loves these cards he started giggling as soon as they were pulled out, He loves playing with and looking at these cards the contrast is wonderful and we all love the way the animals are drawn. Wee Gallery also offers a Sea Life set that includes a sea animals, sea horse, fish, turtle, jellyfish, stingray and octopus.

Wee Gallery also sells temporary tattoos, tea cups, toys & rubber stamps. Want to know how Wee Gallery came about? Here is some information from their "About Us" section, "Wee Gallery was conceived by Surya, a graphic designer, and Dave, a teacher. To prepare for the birth of their first child, Surya painted a mural on the baby’s nursery wall. Remembering that newborns responded to black and white best, she decided to paint zebras so that the baby could focus on the black and white stripes at first, and as he grew older, would be able to recognize the form of the animal .Well, their son Siddu loved his zebra wall, and so did all the moms and dads who came to visit! So they decided to create more animals using the same idea, and the first set of Wee Gallery Art Cards for Baby was born. Seven years later Wee Gallery products are sold in baby boutiques and design shops all over the world." Head over to their etsy shop to see everything they have to offer I personally love their designs and will keep this on my "Baby Shower" gifting list for when I am invited to a baby shower again.
