Sweet Emii Creations Giveaway & Review!

Two of my favorite things is collecting things that reflect my interest and handmade items so when both of those combine it makes that item that much better. I recently came upon a charming etsy shop called Sweet Emii Creations that sells a variety of small plushes, prints, and more that are all equally cute and will make you say "Awww" out loud when you start looking through the shop. Emily the shop owner is a self-taught sculpture and craft lover who is currently going to school for animation and her unique designs and creative ideas really show in her work. Emily makes and sells earrings, charms, prints, tiny plush figures, cards, magnets, string artwork and more with many fun fandoms in mind such as MLP, Pokemon and Studio Ghibli.

Emily offers a variety of fun kawaii type products all of which are adorable in their own way, some I wanted myself, other products I thought my daughter would love so it was hard to choose which I would want to review. In the end I narrowed it down to the MLP Princess Luna tiny plush and the Toothless tiny plush and had Emily surprise me! As you can see from the photos above I was sent Princess Luna who is my favorite My Little Pony character (of course! Who else would it be?).

Each of the mini plushes sold by Sweet Emii Creations measure from 3 1/2- 5 1/2 inches in length, small enough to be a purse or pocket pal. Princess Luna is made from a very soft silky material with a tulle type material with the eyes and cutie mark embroidered on. There is a little stuffing in the belly of the plush and the head so there is a slight bit of weight to this to keep it from falling off a shelf or desk. The head doesn't move a whole lot but it will lift up slightly, you can't see it too well but she is wearing a moon cowl around her neck. Mini plushes start at $26 each one is handmade some of it is hand sewn and some is done by machine, over all this is a wonderful piece to add to any collection. Due to it's price I wouldn't suggest this as a toy for a young child instead it is more of a collectors piece and a very well made one. Shipping was quick and Princess Luna came neatly packaged with a business card and thank you note included. I may put this in the microwave for 5-10 seconds to soften it up or perhaps add it into your coffee as a sweetener. I like the powdered cranberry burst a lot better because I love cranberries and this little powder packs a lot of punch into one scoop, in a single scoop you will get 6,000 MG of NeoCell collagen Type 1 & 3 for firm, smooth skin &strong hair & nails,50 MG of Hyaluronic Acid for skin hydration & renewal,3,000 MCG of Biotin for support of strong hair & nail growth,Alpha Lipoic Acid & Vitamin C for protection from free radical damage & enhancement of collagen formation. Both products are easy on the stomach and don't leave me feeling like I will be sick which is a plus because sometimes my stomach can be pretty picky. My nails get pretty brittle in the winter and can break easily so I am looking forward to seeing more results from using these products.

Clothing is always a good option for gifting during the holidays, especially if you know the person you are gifting to could use some new shirts, PJ's or a new jacket. A few of my family members prefer cute or funny shirts over non-printed shirts so I know the shirts sold by Goodie Two Sleeves are a good match for them. Goodie Two Sleeves offers an assortment of fun printed Tees, they offer both their own t-shirt designs and more well known designs such as Transformers.





I received the wonderful opportunity to feature Goodie Two Sleeves as my first Holiday Gift Guide sponsor! They agreed to a review and a giveaway for my readers. For the review I was able to tell them some of my favorite tees from their site and they put together a package for me. With so many awesome designs it was hard to just pick one or two so I provide them with five different shirts and had them surprise me, I received the Men's Raglan Transformers Autobot Logo (long sleeve), Guys Row Your Oh Sad Dino T-Shirt & Devo MEO-W Men's T-Shirt plus they also included some adorable Dino stickers. I love the clothing shipping bag they send their shirts in and the fact that they are speedy when it comes to shipping out your goods. My fiance thinks the Devo cats shirt is a bit silly but I absolutely love it, I didn't really listen to Devo growing up aside from their big hit 'Whip It' but I am a big fan of cats and silly things so when I saw this I knew I had to get it.



The raglan transformers shirt with the Autobot logo is quite warm and fits slightly loose on me which I enjoy. The Dino shirt and Devo cats shirt are made from a very comfortable and stretchy material that breaths well and looks great. One of my favorite things about their shirts is they seem to be slightly longer than most t-shirts I've purchased online, I like this because it helps keep my backside covered in case anything ever decided to pop out while I was bent over. All of their shirts are tag-less the tag is printed on the inside of the neck which means it won't leave you feeling irritated or itchy, and anyone who has ever cut a tag off a shirt knows that sometimes if you slip even a little you can end up cutting the shirt so this will save you from that. The designs are imprinted right onto the shirt so there is no plastic feel to it because the image is printed vs being an iron on which also means the images won't stick to themselves after being washed and should last longer than iron-ons. Even after going through the wash several times these shirts will still look brand new, I own three other shirts from their site and I've worn them dozens of times yet the images still look as good as the day I took them out of my mail box. Goodie Two Sleeves also offers backpacks, towels, blankets, phone cases and more featuring all of the great designs found on their website. Cost wise I would say they are moderate, they aren't on the cheapest of cheap sides and they aren't overly expensive, you will end up paying $22-24.50 per shirt and with the type of materials they use,their solid customer service and how comfortable the shirts are the cost is completely worth it.

The Mighty Mug Giveaway & Review!

I do a lot on the computer both at home and at work so I usually have my drink sitting on my desk while I work, sometimes it gets knocked over and spills or simply drops onto the floor if it is in a spill proof container. I recently received a Mighty Mug for a review and now I don't have to worry about spills or my cup getting knocked off of my desk. Developed by a team of industrial designers and mechanical engineers, Mighty Mug, is the world's only Mug that grips to your desk when knocked into, but lifts naturally.





Before I received a mug for review I watched a video showing what The Mighty Mug could do, and I admit I was impressed but I was also skeptical about how well this would work. How can a mug set down on the table not be knocked over when hit but picked up like a regular cup without any hesitation? The Mighty Mug has a Smartgrip base which is shown above in the fourth photo (orange circle), when placed directly down onto the table this grips onto the table keeping the cup into place. Keep in mind the surface needs to be flat as with any suction cup base/item, I placed my Mighty Mug on my kitchen table and gave it a whack. The mug stayed in place was it gave me a jolt of excitement not seeing it fall over when hit with my hand, I even made my fiance come into the kitchen to have a look while I used my hand to try and knock over the mud. Knowing that some cups end up falling off the table because the table is moved I shook the kitchen table a bunch to see if that would make the mug fall and it still stayed in place, but lifted up without any issue when you pick it straight up off the table. The Might Mug is easy to clean, and works just as described my fiance will be taking this to work with him to the construction sites he works at.

The Moon was listed as $19.99 and the Game was listed for $8.99 which were both cheaper than I was able to find anywhere else. Both products are well made, fun to use and would make wonderful Christmas or birthday presents, my kids wanted to play the sheep launcher game as soon as I opened the box and we all had a blast even my two year old was able to play. The moon is also really neat and made me jealous I didn't have one when I was a kid! Road trips can be a lot of fun but at some point during the ride it can also get a little boring. Thankfully we aren't traveling far to reach our Vacation destination the trip will only take 6 hours, but with two kids in tow we need something to help keep them occupied. Knock Knock stuff came to the rescue and sent me two on-the-go game pads & a 5 days a week paper mouse pad.





The on-the-go game pads each have three games per pad, Pad #1 has Tic-tac-toe, Categories & Connect 5. Pad #2 has Hangman, Dots & boxes and Out & About Bingo along with having three games per pad each game has 15 sheets per game. I like that the pads are put together like a note pad, you write on one and you can either tear it out with ease or you can leave it in and go onto the next page. The inside of the front cover goes over the rules of each game and how to play which I like because I've never played Categories before getting this pad for a review.

The 5 days a week paper mouse pad is helpful and useful, I can use it to write shopping lists, keep important appointments written down or just jot down random notes about blog posts I want to do or deadlines I need to meet. All the papers are connected together with a little bit of adhesive on the left hand side of the pad and along the top which makes the pad nice and sturdy and the pages are easy to peel off when you are done with each page.
