Glitter Wishes by Kara Giveaway & Review!

****This was not a paid post and my honest opinion was used. The opinions are solely my own and may vary from others. The products mentioned below have been provided by Glitter Wishes by Kara for the review & giveaway free of charge.****

My daughters birthday isn't until December but I wanted to get a head start on making plans because it will be here before I know it and if I'm not prepared then I will go crazy from last minute planning. I asked my daughter what she would like as here theme this year and she decided on Frozen which I think is a great theme for her Winter birthday and I know there are lots of Frozen party supplies available but I wanted to search around for some unique party supplies you won't find walking into Party City. The smallest details can really make a party pop, up until recently I hadn't really thought about the birthday candles I always just bought the regular numbers from the grocery store. I found a great etsy shop called Glitter Wishes by Kara who sells custom designed candles to fit any birthday theme.

I want to start by saying that Kara's customer service is fast and quite friendly, I had requested that she ship the candle to where it's delivery would fall between Thur-Saturday as I am home during the day and was afraid the candle might melt if it was left in the AZ heat. She happily sent it so it would arrive on Friday. As you can see in the photo above the candle was neatly wrapped and came in a wax parchment paper to prevent it from getting stuck to the tissue paper. The candle looks great it is completely full of glitter, gem stones and has a large snow flake. My daughter was ecstatic when she seen the candle and I think it will go perfectly with her other party decorations. The candle is large and will stick out well sitting on top of a cake, I will be keeping this to put in her keep sakes box and think it would be a fun idea to buy more customized candles in the future to really tie the party theme together. The candle I received is well decorated and will hold up to being handled a lot on the birthday party day.

Looking for a specific theme? If you message Glitter Wishes by Kara I am sure she would be more than happy to work with you on creating the perfect candle for your party. She offers candles for both boys and girls with themes such as Fire Trucks, Mickey/Minnie mouse, Butterflies and more. All candles range from $8.50 to $17 for double digits, yes it might seem a bit high for a candle but taking into consideration it is custom decorated to fit the party theme and can be kept for a future keepsake I think the price is very reasonable, some of the sets such as the "80's" candle would make a big impact for someone who might not be receiving a big party and will show you went the extra mile to really make their big day special. Glitter Wishes by Kara ships world wide!

PRIZE ALERT:
One lucky winner will receive 1 candle of their choice. Single Digit number only. Open World Wide.

So Sweet Pops Review

****This was not a paid post and my honest opinion was used. The opinions are solely my own and may vary from others. The products mentioned below have been provided by So Sweet Pops for the review free of charge.****

When I host parties I like the desserts to be easy to serve, mess free and easy to make or purchase. I enjoy cake but I am horrible at baking it, I dislike cutting it and spending a good enough of time serving it to everyone on plates so when I hosted my #DisneySide party I wanted something the guests could help themselves to that both the children and adults would love so when So Sweet Pops agreed to send me two dozen Disney themed cake pops for my party I couldn't have been more excited.

I received two dozen cake pops in the design of four different characters: Mickey, Minnie, Goofy & Donald. Right away after opening the box I couldn't believe how cute these were, they were almost too cute to eat. Each design had something unique to help you distinguish which cake pop was each character, Donald had his hat and a little red bow, Goofy had ears and his hat, Minnie had her bow and Mickey had his famous trousers. Everything on the cake pop aside from the stick is edible, each one is a good size for a dessert just one will keep you happy they were about the size of my palm and were individually wrapped with a matching ribbon to keep everything sanitary and easy for the guests. Were received our cake pops in Chocolate and Vanilla, they were a huge hit with both the children including the picky eaters and the parents. They were delicious
& vanished from the table fast and I heard wonderful comments on the cake pops such as their looks, the taste and more.

So Sweet Pops offers a number of fun designs for any occasion such as a Baby Shower, Bridal party, Birthday party or event a sports related event. Depending on the design the cake pops run from $23-$30 per Dozen and the oreo pops run from $18-$25 for a dozen which is affordable and convenient for your party. I would suggest ordering at least two weeks ahead of your party date to allow the owner time to make and ship your cake pops. Worried about shipping? Don't be they are packaged to prevent breaking or smashing of the product all of the cake pops I received arrived in perfect ready to eat condition.

#DisneySide @Home Celebration

****This was not a paid post and my honest opinion was used. The opinions are solely my own and may vary from others. The products mentioned below have been provided by Disney Parks & MomSelect for the review free of charge.****

My #DisneySide Party, As many of you are aware I was selected to host a #DisneySide @Home Celebration and was sent a big packaged which contained party decorations, party supplies, a few favors and other goodies. The theme I was sent was Mickey Mouse Club House which was easy to put together, I printed out coloring pages, put together goodie bags, made food, planned games and more my five year old was counting down the days to the party and would ask about it at least once every hour for a week. Saturday was party day! I spent the day decorating the house and putting together last minute preparations such as food, drinks, ect.

For the kids main meal we made Mickey Mouse shaped PB & J's using the cookie cutters we were provided by Disney, All of the children attending the party were between the ages of 1-8 most of them are picky eaters so they were all very excited to see PB & J's and many asked for them without being asked if they were even hungry. We also have fruit, cheese puffs, crackers, cake pops, cup cakes, and drinks for the party guests. We played Disney bingo, colored some Mickey Mouse, Sofia, and Jake coloring pages, and the kids ran around and have fun with bubbles, Mickey ears, Pin the ears on Mickey and more. The night ended with all the girls staying the night to watch Disney movies, all the kids had a blast!

Without Disney this party wouldn't have been possible, I would like to personally thank them for myself and for all of my party guests we had a wonderful and look forward to continuing with our love for all things Disney. I would also like to thank So Sweet Pops for donating the Disney shaped cake pops all the kids and adults loved them they couldn't get enough and were all asking where to get more. One of my favorite things about the party kit is the decorations are 100% Reusable I will be able to use them again for a future Birthday party or event which is always great considering I have two children who love Disney and Mickey Mouse.

** I was provided the kit for the party along with a suit case and luggage tag free of charge for participating in the #DisneySide @Home Celebrations from Disney Parks and MomSelect although I received the products free of charge all opinions are 100% true and my own. **

#Disneyside @Home Party Announcement.

****I received free products in order to host the Disney Side @Home Celebration. The opinions expressed here are my own. I would like to thank both Disney Parks and MomSelect for providing me with this opportunity.****

I received an exciting opportunity, I was recently selected as one of the bloggers hand selected to host a #Disneyside @Home party. Between February 15th and March 1st, 2014 everyone selected to be a host will be having a party on their date of choice, I have picked February 22nd as my party date and I have been brain storming on all the fun and wonderful ways I can show off my love for Disney. Each host has or will be receiving a party kit, each kit is based of the age of the children in the house hold the theme I received was Mickey Mouse! Disney Parks sent all the hosts a large and awesome suit case packed with our party supplies. The supplies are enough to invite ten children to the Disney party, How ever I plan on having more children at my party so I will be heading out to get a few more supplies.

What did I receive in my party kit? I received some wonderful party essentials/basics such as cups, plates, napkins, a table cloth and decorations along with a few party favors, two cookie cutters, cupcake wrappers, HP photo card packs which I unfortunately won't be able to use as I don't own a printer *insert sad face here*. The kits also came with a luggage tag to go with our suit case, party games, a Disney vacation planning DVD and a few other small items.

I have been planning a lot for this party, Since I will be having children mostly between the ages of 3-9 I wanted to find a food I knew they would eat without too much hassle so I will be making Mickey Mouse shaped PB & J's, actual food wise that is the only thing I can think of for now most of my Disney inspired treats are sweets but I don't want to over stuff the children on sweets so I will be looking for more child friendly foods and will more than likely be making some of the Disney Inspired foods I find online. I am having a hard time deciding if I want to make cupcakes or if I want to make Mickey Mouse shaped ice cream sandwiches. Thank you Disney Parks & MomSelect for my party kit we love everything in it and the suit case is amazing, I can't wait to throw my party and have all the children come over to show off their Disney Side.

I am going to see what I can put together as a special Disney prize package!
