Scrigit Scraper Giveaway & Review!

****This was not a paid post and my honest opinion was used. The opinions are solely my own and may vary from others. The products mentioned below have been provided by Scrigit Scraper for the review & giveaway free of charge.****

Being the mom of the house I do 90% of the cleaning which means I am always scrubbing and cleaning up messes the kids have made, sometimes those messes don't want to come out from in-between the counter tiles with just a rag so I have to use something else. I don't like using my nails because they break easily and using a butter knife removes some of the grout, I was recently introduced to a wonderful product called Scrigit Scraper which is now my go to product when I have a stubborn piece of food or paint in the corner of the base board, in the tub or on the counter.  What is a Scrigit Scraper? Here is a little information on it from their website "The pocket-sized Scrigit Scraper is a versatile cleaning tool that provides a quick, safe and convenient alternative to fingernails and other types of scrapers as a way to remove small amounts of common substances from from flat and curved household surfaces, such as dishes, kitchen and bathroom counter tops and floors."

This product is wonderful for scraping sticky bar codes from the bottom of glass cups and the left over wax in candles plus a number of other wonderful uses while cleaning, or crafting. I love re-using my candle holders once the candle is gone, I use them to hold change, hair ties, makeup brushes and more. Getting the candle wax out is always a pain, I normally use a butter knife but it doesn't always do that great of a job and it doesn't do a good job getting the bar-code sticker off the bottom so I decided to use a Scrigit Scraper to see how well it worked vs. other house-hold  scraper tools. As you can see from the photos above the scraper has two sides one is a flat edge scraper and the other is a rounded edge scraper (which is my personal favorite side to use), and it is pretty long so it reaches all the way down into the candle holder without a problem. The rounded edge scraper made removing the wax from the candle easy peasy as you can see from the photos below, it was also a big help with removing the bottom tag. After removing all of the wax and the bottom sticker I was only left with a little bit of the residue from the sticker which was easily washed off with a little warm water and soap, now I have a perfectly clean and brand new holder for all of my eye liners. The Scrigit Scraper can be used for an unlimited amount of things, I have also used this to clean the edges around my tub, on the counter in the kitchen, getting stickers off the tile floor, and more! They are very handy to have around the house and can be purchased either as a set of two or in a package of five, you can purchase them directly from Amazon. They offer $1 off every 2 2-packs of Scrigit Scrapers purchased on Amazon the code can be found on their product page. This product is sturdy and seems like it is going to last for quite some time to come, I look forward to seeing everything I can get done with these scrapers while saving my nails from damage.

I will use the Scrigit Scraper to clean my candle jars. They're piling up in the freezer.

This would be so great for picture frames and removing labels off wine!

I'd definitely use this for the price labels on TJMaxx/HomeGoods products. I buy lots of gift items there but the price labels are impossible to get off and they make whatever I'm buying look terrible!

Id probably use it in the bathroom first. I suppose it would work well on grout.
