Earthen Skincare Review!

Summer is here which means hotter weather & if you are a pool bug it means more time being out in the sun, which can lead to dry spots on your skin. Keeping hydrated & using the right sunscreen + skincare products can be a huge help with helping your skin look its best. I recently received two products from a skincare brand called Earthen Skincare & have a short review of those products to share with you.

The first is their repair & lift which is their anti-wrinkle moisturizing serum. Right off the bat the first thing I liked about this product is there is no scent to it, sometimes it bugs me when a skincare product has too many perfumy additives, so no scent is preferable. It also absorbs into the skin right away without leaving your skin feeling greasy, slimy or oily which is also a big plus for multiple skin types. A little goes a long way, one pump of this is enough for half of my face so this bottle should last me quite a while. The little cap/plug it comes with for the pump is also nice, I decided to keep it and put it back in after using it to help prevent any hard build up like lotions get. My skin feels soft and moisturized after using this and I look forward to seeing more results from this after using it for a longer period of time.

The second product I received was the Instantpeel Exfoliant. You'll use the instant peel in the shower so that the steam will help in the process of removing dead skin cells. The instant peel I originally thought was going to be a gel but it is more of a liquidy lotion consistency. The real question is, does it work? Okay so this is a tough one for me, it is always a bummer when I don't like a product then have to write about it. But, it is always good to know pros and cons though so here we go. The formula itself is a little too much of a water consistency, I checked out some reviews on amazon (it has great reviews on there) and noticed someone mention that the product quality has changed, and it wasn't always this consistency. Following the directions this is meant to be used in the shower so that your skin has a little time to loosen all the dead skin & dirt, but the product is hard to handle in the shower, so some gets wasted.

I tried this out in the shower following the directions and then again when I wasn't in the shower instead I just got my arm damp before trying this out a second time. The way it works is similar to a exfoliating scrubber to where the friction & product rub off the dead skin. Watching as I was using it on my arm, I almost feel like it is just the product drying and then rubbing off that creates the effect especially as it stayed just white whereas with a exfoliating glove it usually has a greyish hue due to the combination of dead skin and dirt coming off. I personally didn't notice any difference in the spots I tested the product on. Everyone has different skin, so it could just be that it doesn't work for me, because the reviews on amazon others had awesome results.

They have a number of other products as well to check out if you are looking for some help with your skin this summer.

Chasin' Unicorns ritual subscription box Review + Giveaway!

Taking some time out to practice some self care is very beneficial to your mental health, everyone should take some time out during the week whether it is just a few minutes a day or a few hours during the week to do something that makes them feel good. During the week I like to take a little time for myself to either play a video game, relax with a face mask on, or take a hot bath while listening to music. Lately I've been focusing on trying to better my skin care routine to improve a bit of uneven skin tone and a few dry patches. I recently learned about a wonderful brand called Chasin' Unicorns who not only has their own line of fantastic products, but they also sell a self-care subscription box.

Their subscription boxes are $55 if you do a one time purchase, or you can lower the cost slightly by subscribing for longer than one month. In each box you'll get a chance to receive an assortment of Chasin' Unicorns products & products from other brands. You could receive skin care products, candles, hair care, tea and more, there will be 5-7 products in each box. I was recently gifted one of their subscription boxes to check out & write a review on. They included a sweet hand written note & I love the custom tissue paper they have for their boxes. The unicorn headband shown in the photo above, did not come with the box, it is mine & I thought it would look cute for the photo.

The boxes are $55 each, so are the boxes worth it? Based just on the box I received I would say yes, I really enjoyed the assortment of products included. All of them will be helpful for bringing back some moisture to my skin during the chilly weather we've been having. The box I received has a retail value of $136. What did I get in my box? Let's dig into what I found inside of my ritual box, first up is Super Glow Dew by Pure AM Beauty - This is a lightweight oil to help reduce fine lines and help create glowing skin. A hydrating hyaluronic acid from Truly which helps reduce redness. and may also help reduce fine lines/wrinkles.

Next up I found a PH balance calming toner which is also from Pure AM Beauty, this bottle is big & since you only need a little at a time, the bottle should last quite some time. It can help soothe, smooth and calm your skin. The serene clean soap by Moonlit skin care smells so good, I can't wait to use it once I am done with the current soap I use. This soap is a mixture between chamomile and eucalyptus which are both quite soothing, eucalyptus can also be good to use when your sinuses are stuffy. (at least I know it helps me). I also like the unique triangular shape of the soap, it should make it easier to hold onto when in the shower.

Last but not least were two products from Ecolips, which can at the perfect time as my lips have been pretty dry & a little sore recently. One of the products is a organic lip scrub in a vanilla bean scent/flavor that will help rub away dry skin. The other is a intensive overnight blackberry lip mask which will help bring moisture & smoothness back into your lips. The jars did get a little jumbled in shipping, the lids were very loose, however the contents are still in place & do not seem to be harmed. If you are someone who is new to starting their skin-care routine a box like this could be a huge boost to get you started on your journey.

Over all I am very pleased with what I received & think this is a subscription I would enjoy getting other boxes from as well as it doesn't seem like they really repeat products like others tend to do. If you want to purchase some of the Chasin' Unicorn products, but don't want to sign up for a subscription box then you can do so by viewing their boutique.

Prize Alert:

One lucky winner is going to receive a $50 gift card to the Chasin' Unicorns website.

This is open US Residents only! Please remember if you DO NOT leave a comment on this blog post as your mandatory entry into the giveaway then all of your entries will be void. Doing the Daily entries will increase your chance of winning. Winners have 72 hours to respond to the notification email!

Body Exfoliation just got easier with MicrodermaMitt

Exfoliating can help make quite the difference in your skin, plus it can help prevent ingrown hairs from shaving. A company called MicrodermaMitt wants to help make exfoliating easier + faster so they created a unique mitt designed to help remove dead skin cells from the top layer of your skin.  Have you ever noticed that when you are drying off after a shower & rub your towel back and forth in one spot that you can see the dead skin coming off? This works the same way, you will use this mitt in a motion that helps create a small amount of friction to help exfoliate. The mitts cost $30 via their website or $26.99 on amazon.

It came with instructions on how to use this & that it needs to be washed with water then air dried before your first use. When needed you can hand wash it in the sink with some water & soap, which I did however I didn't like how this smelled when I first received it so I threw it into the wash. I let it air dry after & it is still in the condition it is supposed to be in. Some beauty & skincare products can seem a little gimmicky such as those clear pimple patches, but end up working amazing, so I was curious to see how well this actually works.

I am impressed with the results! Using the right amount of pressure & getting used to the best motion to use, you'll start to see instant results in the form of all the dead skin coming off. Yes you'll be able to physically see it, it can be a little gross but also pretty satisfying knowing your skin will be softer after. My skin can be a little sensitive sometime so even with a light amount of pressure certain areas of my body such as my chest & neck will be slightly pink/red after using this, however it doesn't last long. The mitt I received is a body mitt which is good for all over, but I found it can be a little rough on the face so if you want something specifically for your face they sell a mitt that is just for your face & is a little softer. It would be neat to have a mitt that is more like a glove that you can slip on for a snug fit as the mitt is a little large so I usually end up using one corner of the mitt on most my body.

For the best results they recommend using this 1-2 times a week, I like using this before I shave. The mitts are dermatologist recommended & they are also hypoallergenic which is a big plus. If you'd like to learn more information they have a great FAQ page that covers exactly how the mitt works, how to use it & more. I look forward to adding this product to my weekly skin care routine & enjoy using it, the results with this have been better than several body scrubs I've used in the past.

Aveline Razors - A unique addition to your shaving routine.

Like most men and women who shave, I wish the process was slightly easier, sometimes it is hard finding a razor that is just right for you or you might have a hard time looking for a product that is just right for your skin. I personally experience razor burn often even if I exfoliate and then moisturize after so I like trying out different shaving creams to see if they help. I recently stumbled upon a unique looking razor from a company called Aveline Razor, I read some of their information on their website about how it helps provide you with a close smooth shave so I reached out to see if I could test them out.

The razor catches your eye right away with it's very unique look, I've seen some small travel razors that were made for small bags but I've never seen anything that was quite like this. The razor head swivels easily which helps it glide effortlessly along the curves of your body giving you a close smooth shave. Notice the three little metal balls on the razor? Those are designed to be a secondary contact point on your skin giving the razor an even smoother glide because of how the balls help it move.

I noticed when I was shaving with this how well quickly and flawlessly the razor moved, sometimes when you shave certain areas like your knee or your armpit the angles can be pretty awkward with a razor head that doesn't move which could lead towards Knicks and irritated skin. When I was shaving my underarms I didn't have to go over any areas multiple times and I didn't have to try to get a different angle to fit the curve of my underarm. I even tested out making a slightly "S" shaped pattern while using this to shave my legs and had no problems. They have also helped with the issue of dropping your razor! I've dropped my razor a few times while in the shower because the handle gets slippery, with the Aveline they added a finger ring that helps you keep the razor in your hand instead of on the shower floor. The finger ring also allows you a chance to hang your razor up on a shower hook for better storage, or if you prefer not to hang it up you can place it on the ring finger side to use it as a stand to keep your blades in better condition.

Removing the razor head to replace it couldn't be easier. There is a small button at the bottom of the razor handle that releases the razor head when pushed, the razor head simply pops off and a new one can be slipped into it's place. I like that this is small enough I can put the cap back on the razor head and pop it into my travel bag.

Aveline isn't just a razor brand! They also sell a beauty line to help with your skincare routine, it is a three step line which you can see above. The first step is a salt & sugar body scrub, as with most products of this nature I wish that it was stored in a jar verses a squeezable container. The only reason I prefer a jar is because this product is a little thick so it can be hard to squeeze out especially with wet hands. The scrub itself is nice, it has a slight mint scent due to the spearmint used. I felt like the scrub was just right, it gives you enough grit to get dirt and dead skin off without it being so rough it leaves your skin red, it leaves my skin feeling prepped and clean. It could just be from the friction of rubbing the scrub onto your skin, but when you are applying it you'll feel a slight warming sensation that is lovely. I feel like this scrub has helped prevent razor burn and has helped/will help with in-grown hairs because it is good to exfoliate before shaving. You can buy a full set of these products or buy a each 5oz tube of your favorite for $8.

Step two is a shea butter shave cream and is hands down my favorite of the three products. I feel like this tube is going to last me several months because you only need a small amount of the cream (the photo above shows more than I typically use). The cream almost feels like a whipped foam, the formula is silky smooth which allows it to spread out evenly over your skin. The scent of this product is a mixture of lavender and oranges, which makes for an interested but lovely combination. The scent isn't overwhelming and it actually smells pretty calming.

The third and final step is their botanical body lotion. The lotion seems kind of thick when it is coming out of the tube, it is kind of similar to the body scrub where you really need to squeeze it to get it out, but it doesn't apply in a thick manner. When you are applying the lotion it absorbs pretty quickly into your skin and it spreads out in a nice thin layer covering a large amount of skin. It has a cooling affect that leaves your skin feeling smooth and moisturized. The lotion is packed with a number of helpful ingredients that give your skin the love it needs. The lotion is so gentle that even when I applied it to my arm where my little kitty was a bit too rough when we were playing leaving scratches behind, it didn't burn or irritate my skin when I applied lotion to my arms. I also like that it doesn't leave my skin feeling greasy, oily or slimy.

You do not need to use all three products every time you shave, the scrub and lotion can be used anytime you'd like! If your skin is feeling dry you can use the scrub to help get rid of dead skin and use the lotion to get it back into looking it's best. I like keeping the lotion on my desk to use when ever my hands are feeling dry. I work in a healthcare facility and wash my hands frequently so my hands tend to get dried out which is why I like keeping lotion handy so I can use it through out the day.

To get started I recommend buying one of their beauty bundles and maybe thinking about signing up for the blade replacement subscription to help you save some money along the way.

Skin care products by Skin Nation! Review part 1.

When I am looking at skin care products I like looking around for companies that create their products using natural ingredients and I love and support currently-free brands! So when I stumbled onto a brand called Skin Nation who creates products that are Cruelty-free, Organic and  natural. They create a large line of products for your face and body, and they also have a Men's line!

I was recently sent four different products to test out and review, I will cover two today and in a week or so I will cover the other two once I test them out a bit more. Today I will be covering the Scrubalicious Exfoliator and the Magic Masque, They also included a free scrubbing pad that is the perfect size.

The Magic Masque is designed to help keep your skin looking smooth, hydrated and dewy. It is made with natural ingredients and is gentle enough on your skin that you could use it on a daily basis. This product comes in a 2oz jar and retails for $40, 2oz isn't always a lot of product so is this product worth the price tag?

I was surprised just how smoothly this product applied, you need very little product to cover a large area of your face which means the product will last you a while depending on how often you decide to use it each week. The amount of product I used on my face only left a small area where you could tell product was taken out, you could apply the product with a brush if you wanted or with your finger which is how I applied it and I didn't have any issues. The mask is silky smooth and has a nice light scent to it that won't irritate your senses. It is also light weight so you'll hardly be able to tell you are even wearing a masque, the instructions say to leave it on for 5-7 minutes so I like using this before getting into the shower. I didn't have any skin irritation and the masque was easy to wash off with a bit of warm water and a cloth, my face was left feeling smooth and refreshed. When I woke up the next morning I could still note that my skin looked smooth and dewy.

Normally when it comes to "Scrubs" I like scrubs that you can actual feel the scrubbiness to it so I can feel the dead skin being washed away. This one doesn't really have that scrub to it that I look for, However even though to me it feels like more of a wash it does a really great job at cleaning my face. In fact instead of going for my favorite face wash recently, I've found myself reaching for this instead. As you can see in the photo it has a bit more of a face wash consistency to it than a scrub.

The scent is similar to the masque, it is a light fresh smell that helps you relax. My skin doesn't feel oily, tight or weighed down after using this product. Generally when "Aunt flow" comes to visit, I end up with a small break out like a lot of women experience, this time it wasn't so bad, I still had a blemish or two but they are easily controllable. It should be noted that this specific product has a note letting you know they use glycolic acid in this product which can make your face slightly sensitive to the sun, so you should use a light facial sunscreen while using this product (sunscreen is a great idea to use on a daily basis anyways!). I personally don't use this on a daily basis because I like having a day or two where I clean my face with just water so my pores can breath, but when I do use this my skin feels nice afterwards. This product comes in a 4oz bottle for $32, I do wish I had slightly more of the product in the bottle because I enjoy using it.

Treat yourself to a spa day at Vitahydr8 in Mesa,AZ.

When was the last time you treated yourself to some kind of spa or pampering treatment? Treating yourself to a spa treatment doesn't have to be a monthly thing, but when you do head out to the spa it is nice to know you are going to a spot that is relaxing and knows what they are doing. I go to the spa about once a year, usually to get a massage as I carry a lot of stress in my neck/shoulder area which gets pretty tense. I recently had a wonderful chance to speak with the owner of a Beauty & Wellness spa called Vitahydr8. The spa came about after the owner found out she had ovarian cancer, and wanted to share a chance for others in the same position to enjoy some beauty & relaxation. She has a wonderful video on her Instagram page, which can be found Here, that gives you more information on her and the spa, it is worth a watch!

One of the main attractions of Vitahydr8 is their vitamin therapy which infuses much needed vitamins right into your blood stream over the course of an hour, which helps your body as a whole, you'll leave feeling revitalized. They also offer massages, facials, dermaplaning, laser hair removal and more plus starting November 1st they will also have a salon where you can get hair services. My husband and I had the chance to stop by and visit Vitahydr8 on Sunday with my husband to try out their services and see their newly opened location inside of the Sheraton Mesa Hotel at Wrigleyville West. Our Anniversary is tomorrow so we went in for a couples massage and I had a facial as well.

The spa itself was easy to find and if you need directions the hotel staff are extremely friendly, upon entering Vitahydr8 you feel welcomed and ready to relax. They have a beautiful waiting area where you can sit while you fill out any needed paperwork, or wait if you arrived too early. The waiting area overs a comfortable sofa, chairs and tables to keep you comfortable, they also let you know you are free to help yourself to a snack or drink and you are able to change the TV channel if you wish. My facial was an hour long, and was scheduled before our massage so my husband was happy they had this waiting area where he could listen to a bit of TV and read the book he brought with him. The office is pretty quiet, we went early in the morning and aside from the staff there wasn't a ton of traffic in the office which was nice.

I've only had one facial before which helped hydrate my skin so I was looking forward to getting another and seeing how it helps my skin. With the weather changes and me being naughty (not drinking about water), I had a few tiny dry patches on my forehead that were bugging me. The room they do the facials in is cozy and it helps create a relaxing environment. The staff member doing my facial was super sweet and she explained what each product was before she started using it, we chatted a bit during it and she was quite friendly and lovely to talk with. Part of the facial includes a mini message where your face will be massaged with the skincare products, and during the point where you are waiting for the enzyme mask to remove any dead skin, your forearms/hands and neck will also be massaged a bit, adding to the relaxation levels.

During the facial they cover your eyes with a little shield and use a bright light to exam your skin for a skin assessment, which is when they will let you know if they see anything that needs improvement and offer you suggestions for improvement. I was a bit worried as I get a lot of teeny tiny black heads on my nose, I was surprised and happy to find out that my nose actually isn't as bad as I thought, overall she said she saw a little bit of dehydration across my forehead otherwise my skin looks pretty good. My skin feels so much better and my forehead looks significantly better as well because I no longer have little dry spots and everything healed up nicely. I am also making sure I remember to drink enough water to prevent it from happening again.  Here is a photo of my face once my facial was completed.

Once I was finished with my facial, I grabbed my husband from the waiting room and we were directed into a secondary room where the couples massage would take place. This room was also quite comfortable, it had low lighting and light music to help calm the body and mind. Before your massage begins, the staff member performing your massage will ask you if you've been having any problems, where you'd like to concentrate and if there are any areas you'd like them to avoid. I personally don't like being in just underwear during a massage, plus I usually only go to have my back/shoulders massaged so I always bring a pair of yoga pants to wear while I get my massage. You are completely free to dress to your comfort level, and can be completely open with them about issues such as not wanting your feet, legs, etc to be touched.

My husband has never had a professional massage before so he was little apprehensive about going, but I was able to get him to go with me because I thought it was something he would enjoy. He followed my example and wore basketball shorts so he'd be more comfortable. The massage lasts for an hour, but that hour always goes by way faster than you expect. He seemed to enjoy his experience and he felt a lot better after the hour was over since he didn't feel so tense or tight in his shoulder/neck area. I had a big knot in my right shoulder that is thankfully no longer there, so my shoulders feel so much better than before I went. After the massage was completed the staff meet us in the hallway with some bottled water and walked us out wishing us a good rest of our day. As a note it is always good to make sure you drink plenty of water after a massage.

I really enjoy their facility and think they picked a fantastic location for their spa. All of the rooms are well put together with your comfort and relaxing in mind. The prices aren't bad either, they are on par with a few other similar facilities I've checked out and been to in the past. When it comes to the location and services I'd say this is one of my top two spa facilities I've visited. I highly suggest checking them out for yourself! Their website has a list of all the services they offer, prices, and detailed information if you want to know more about each treatment.

What is your favorite kind of spa treatment to get? If you've never been to any type of a spa, what type of pampering would you like to get done?

Spa Life Review + Giveaway (12 face masks)!

**This was not a paid post. The products mentioned below have been provided by MySpaLife.Net  for the review & giveaway free of charge however my honest opinions were used. The opinions expressed below are solely my own & they may vary from others.**

Summer has hit here in Arizona which means hot and dry weather which can do quite the number on your skin especially if you aren't staying hydrated. I always go through a bit of a crappy transition from winter to summer when my skin is dry in patches but slightly oily in other spots so I decided to look into some face masks to help balance out my skin. SpaLife or as some may know it MySpaLife.Net is the perfect place to look for masks, peels and cleansers to try out because they offer dozens of different products for you to purchase. For a review I wasn't sure what I wanted to try out so I just provided a long list of things that looked like they would be good to try and they selected random items from the list to send out along with two sets of twelve face masks to giveaway so I decided to do an unboxing video for them. I was super nervous as I've never recorded a review or unboxing video before, I will include a link to it on the rafflecopter form and you can gain extra entries into this giveaway by watching and commenting on the video.

Pore Minimizing Hydrogel Nose Mask pack of 6 - Retail value $25 - These masks are great for those who are prone to getting lots of small black heads along their nose area. I generally don't get a lot of acne on my face expect for my nose where I always seem to have a small cluster of black heads so I was excited to try these out. The nose mask was large enough to cover my entire nose from the tip of my nose up to in between my eyebrows. The masks come individually wrapped and are a bit cold when you put them on, once on you can kick back and relax for 20-30 mins while the mask does it's job. I did notice that my nose started becoming itchy by the end of the treatment but it wasn't uncomfortable, and I did notice a bit of a difference in the appearance of the pores on my nose after using this.

Hydrating Collagen Lip Mask infused with red wine & antioxidants pack of 6 - Retail value $25 - I've never used a lip mask before so this was entirely new for me, I generally don't like when masks sit too close to my eyes or lips. The masks smell nice they have a light rose scent to them and they are light weight so you don't have to worry about it falling off your face. Each one has a small slit down the middle so you are still able to talk normally while wearing these but I found having the slit made it to where the mask didn't sit on my lips properly so I over lapped the top and bottom lip to keep them covered and just didn't talk for 20 mins while I used this. My lips did look a bit more hydrated using this but I didn't notice a huge different in how my lips looked or felt.

Pore Cleaning Bubble Mask - Single $8 3 pack $22 - This mask was so strange to use! When you first place the mask on your face it is completely smooth but as you start to wear it the mask begins to bubble almost making your face appear hairy. You can feel the bubbles working, it gives your face a tingly feeling and the bubbles are fun to smooth out with your hands when you are about to take the mask off. My face felt clean and refreshed after using this and I liked that the mask didn't sit too close to my eyes.

Pore Clarifying Lump of Coal Activated Charcoal Mask + Assorted masks. With the chance in weather and what it does to my skin I didn't want to overload my face by using multiple face masks in one week so I have not used all of these masks. As I use them I can update this post on what I thought about them but based off the other products I've tested out from this brand I have a feeling I will like these masks as well.

PRIZE ALERT:
Two lucky readers are each going to win a set of 12 assorted face masks as shown above. Each mask has a different effect such as moisturizing, soothing, energizing, etc. Value $42

Influenster Origins VoxBox!

****This was not a paid post and my honest opinion was used. The opinions are solely my own and may vary from others. The products mentioned below have been provided by Influenster and Origins for the review free of charge.****

I recently received a Voxbox from Influenster containing a number of products from the new line by Origins a skin care solution company. The box included travel sized samples of five different products from their line, over the last week I have been testing them out and I am going to be sharing my experience here with all of you.

Checks & Balances -  This is a "frothy" face wash. It comes out of the container as a fluffy cream and you only need a very small amount, I've been using about a dime sized amount and it is the perfect amount for my face. The formula is a great consistency and feels light weight on your face, it doesn't feel greasy and it does not dry out my sensitive skin. The scent of it is hard to put a finger on, to me it smells like a minty sandalwood, it is a little odd but not unpleasant. This face wash has does wonders with my skin, it is currently "that" time of the month and normally at least a few break outs but this has helped keep everything under control and to me my pores actually look smaller. I love this face wash and I plan on buying a full sized bottle of this when my travel size is gone.

Clear Improvement - A Purifying charcoal mask. This charcoal mask formula is a bit thinner than others I have tried, I've found it takes a little more to get it even across my face. It is unscented which is nice because I don't always like for my facial products to be scented. Performance wise, I haven't really noticed a difference with this products and compared to other charcoal masks I've tried there really isn't a big "wow" factor to this product. I wouldn't purchase this product after the travel size is gone because for the price (1.7 oz for $17) it just isn't worth it to me.

High Potency night-a-mins - A overnight renewal cream. This has a light orange scent to it, it smells like how your hands do after you peel and eat an orange it isn't an overwhelming scent but more of a lingering orange scent. The formula feels a little thick on my face but after it dries and absorbs into my skin it feels refreshing and I can't tell the cream is there anymore. I do like that it leaves my face feeling refreshed and clean but it leaves my skin with a oily finish, if I run my fingers across my cheeks I can feel the oily substance which I don't really like and that is after using a thin sweep of this cream.

Ginzing Eye Cream - A Refreshing eye cream. This cream has a neat light pink coloring to it and it is unscented. The formula is thin and creamy, it absorbs into the skin nicely and doesn't leave any kind of greasy or oily film behind which is a big plus. I've used this twice in the morning because it is supposed to help brighten and depuff your under eye, I haven't noticed a big difference but it does make me feel a little better on mornings where I didn't get a lot of sleep the night before. The pink tone to the lotion gives your under eyes the look of having applied a highlighter.

Ginzing Moisturizer - A lightweight oil-free moisturizer. This is another product in their line that has the orange scent to it which is refreshing and it helps wake you up with its citrus scent. The formula is nice and light so it doesn't feel heavy on your skin, it also absorbs quickly leaving your skin feeling soft and moisturized.  I haven't noticed any kind of oily or greasy feeling form this products and I enjoy using it.

$76 Beauty Prize Pack Giveaway!

We recently added a new Furbaby to our family and I wanted to share a few photos of him with all of you.

We have decided that his name is Hook and he is nine months old (orange kitty). Normally we don't name our pets right away because we want to take a day or two to get to know them but on the way home from adopting him my fiance noticed that at some point his tail was broken then rehealed and set in the shape of a small hook at the end of his tail so we named him Captain Hook or Hook for short. He is helping our older cat become more playful again which is great to see.

Why not celebrate the addition of a new pet and the start of cooler weather? I love the winter time but sometimes my skin can get a little dry so I try to keep it as moisturized as possible, and I know others do as well so I want to giveaway two products that will help your skin stay looking it's best and two bonus makeup products.

This giveaway is for a Jovovo Naturals replenish Hyaluronic serum retail value: $38, a Jovovo Naturals refresh vitamin c facial cleanser retail value; $29, a Loreal voluminous mascara retail value; $5 and a mini Trust Fund Beauty nail polish in the shade "Do You Know Who My Father Is?" retail value; $4  which is a pale light pink. I absolutely love their brand of polish because the formula and colors are fantastic.

This is open to Worldwide to ages 18+, please remember if you DO NOT leave a comment on this blog post as your mandatory entry into the giveaway then all of your entries will be void. Doing the Daily entries will increase your chance of winning. Winners have 72 hours to respond to the notification email!
