As many of you know I can never refuse a makeup review & giveaway,There is always a new exciting color to try or a new favorite product to find. I recently had the chance to work with a makeup company called Mattify! Cosmetics.



For a recent review I received A Eye Shadow Brush / Smudge Brush & The following four eye shadows: Mysterious Aurora,Midnight Train,Twilight,Amethyst Moon. It was a pleasant surprise to see the eye shadows came with a bonus makeup bag that had a mirror included! I was excited to test out the new shadows the first two I tried were the Twilight & Mysterious Aurora. The eye shadows went on smooth and had nice coloring to them,the Twilight looks more like a blue when it is in the container but it is really black.I enjoy using these products and look forward to using them more,they have helpful tips on their website such as how to makeup wet eyeliner & nail polish with your eye shadow.

Picture above is of me using the Light Foundation.For my review I was sent 1 Mineral bronzer in Cool Kiss,1 Sheer perfection mineral finish in Translucent,1 Full coverage Kabuki Brush & 4 Foundations in Fairest,Far,Fairly light & Light.All of them look very similar to my skin color which made me very happy. The powder went on smoothly but I did notice that it pointed out the dry patches on my face [Sometimes I have issues with my skin being too dry I am currently using a new lotion to help]. The mineral makeup is long lasting & doesn't rub off through out the day so you do not have to worry about reapplying it after two hours.I like how sleek it went on instead of cakey like other foundations have done.The makeup doesn't irritate my skin & washes off with no problem at the end of the day. The makeup is great & shipping was fast but what about the price? Each kit cost $59.99 plus S&H it may seem like a lot to some but it comes with 2 shades of Mineral Hygienics SPF Foundation,Mineral Hygienics mineral enhancer,Mineral finishing powder,Three brushes of various sizes & a How to guide which is a really good deal for the price. If you need any further help they offer Advice,Tips & How to guides on their website for free! They also offer eye shadow,lip stick,lip liner & blush in various shades. YoungBlood GIVEAWAY & Review

Ready for a day of beauty to get you glowing for the new year? I wanted to host a fun day full of Bath/Body & Makeup reviews for your viewing pleasure. First up is a company called YoungBlood who is one of my personal favorite sites for eye liner.

For a recent review I received a Incredible Wear Gel Liner in Eclipse & Luxurious Angle brush.Here is a description of the Liner from their website "Draw those lines bold or fine! Our intensely colored, long-wearing formula glides on smoothly like a liquid liner with the precision of an eye pencil. Non-irritating, very water-resistant and budge-proof." I fully agree with the description from the website it is very easy to create a thin line or a thick line depending on the style of brush you use. I prefer a line that is right in the middle,That way it can be seen without being over powered or being covered by eye shadow. I like to pair this Incredible Wear Gel Liner in Eclipse with the eye shadow called Sea glass from their Mermaid Pressed Mineral Eyeshadow Quad [Not included for this review but I love this quad I use it a lot]. Now what about their Luxurious Angle brush? It has synthetic bristles for shaping brows or applying eyeshadow to crease. I like the shape of this brush it helps apply the liner beautifully. To keep your bush in nice working condition I suggest washing off your brush after every application of the Liner,Why? You don't want excess liner to build up on the brush,Oils & Dirt can transfer from your counter/previous application, into your eye liner which wouldn't be good. Cleaning your brush is easy,using warm water & a mild non scented soap you can clean your brush daily.As always YoungBlood had fast shipping,perfect customer service & high quality items. ****This was not a paid post and my honest opinion was used. I can tell you right off the bat one of my favorite things about this company is that the Makeup you receive comes in a super cute handmade makeup bag [Made by Little Worm] it also comes with a great makeup brush. The eyeshadow is easy to apply it goes on smoothly, The colors come out a little lighter than they appear in the jar but I don't mind it because the colors look quite nice. I also enjoy the fact that Overall Beauty Minerals is animal cruelty free. They do not test on animals, nor do they believe in testing on animals. I like the colors I choose because sometimes I like to do themed makeup the Flash Me is perfect for use in Egyptian or Roman eye shadow tones because it is gold.

Above I used Flash Me & DustBunny,Since you only need a little bit of eye shadow these jars will last for a while depending on how often you use them to do your makeup.If you are unsure how to apply mineral makeup they have a "How to" page along with a video you can watch. The shipping from Overall Beauty is fast,& the owner Kim is super nice, Overall Beauty is a site worth checking out if your a makeup lover there are many other cosmetic items aside from eye shadow that you can check out.****This was not a paid post and my honest opinion was used. I know I am a bit late with posting but Its better late than never, The last few days I have been dealing with some crappy car issues plus my DH & I just got the fifth season of our favorite TV show so we have been sitting down watching that together.I know by now many of you have noticed the 'Halloween Guide' Button on the Left hand side of my blog! Makeup can transform you into a witch,goblin,vampire & Much more so having the best makeup matters.I recently had a chance to work with a company called Providence and Grace who sells a variety of makeup plus some great makeup that could be used for Halloween.For my review I received the Deep Lipstick,Ms. Smith Eyeshadow,Raspberries Lip Glaze,Innocence Blush,Small samples of Wink & Azule.The package sent by Providence and Grace was sent pretty fast I was excited to see the extra samples Azule & Wink,I was happy Azule was sent because I was looking at it but though I had too much blue eyeshadow though this has become one of my favorites because it is a very bright bold blue that looks excellent with Ms. Smith Eyeshadow.I also really love the Raspberries Lip Glaze the color is gorgeous & you get to choose your scent/flavor I choose Strawberry which smells amazing & doesn't taste like nasty wax like most lip balms/glosses,The Deep Lipstick goes on well & looks great I thought it was a little Odd the lipstick came shaped like a lip balm but it helps me from leaving it up which causes it to smash into the top of the lip stick tube.The Innocence blush is a nice light shade yet still visible,I have not tested out the Wink eyeshadow because I am saving it for one of you to win in Octobers Goodie bag giveaway!.I think that Providence and Grace has great makeup & great customer service the owner is very friendly & speedy with both messaging back & shipping orders.****This was not a paid post and my honest opinion was used.
