I am excited to announce I am hosting a new review/giveaway with a brand that became an instant favorite of my husbands when he tried them out. If you haven't guessed yet, that company is Chill Boys. Who is Chill Boys? They are best known for their comfortable and cooling boxers + boxer briefs. Bamboo is a wonderful natural material that offers a number of uses one of which is as a fabric, bamboo is typically cooler than cotton which is how it helps you feel cooler when wearing these. The moment you put them on you can actually feel a difference and it stays that way during the day, as a added bonus the material also contains a natural odor-resistant/antimicrobial property that helps you stay fresher as well. 

Do the boxers feel stiff? If you've never tried on something that was made from bamboo before you might be wondering how well they actually fit. These boxers are light weight, and flexible so they will completely move with the moment of your body. I also love that they are tag less, no one likes an itchy tag that digs into their skin or itches you during the day. 

These boxers and the boxer briefs aren't for just men, they are great for women as well. I think these boxers are extremely well made, they are so comfortable to sleep in! I stole the blue pair pictured for myself to sleep in because I like the soft and cooling material too. My husband prefers to use the boxer briefs during the day for a little more of a snug fit and the regular boxers at night for a freeing comfort. We are both a big fan of these, they are great for me during the summer to sleep in and my husband likes wearing them all the time! Stay cool with Chill Boys Boxers, My review + A Giveaway!

Your underwear can make a big difference when it comes to how comfortable you are during the day, underwear that are too small can pinch, squeeze you in the wrong spots and leave marks on your skin. We all want something that is comfortable, but what if you could have underwear that are comfortable and help you keep cool during the hot months? Chill Boys is a Men's underwear line that offers both comfort and functionality. I was recently sent two pairs of boxer briefs and a pair of boxers for my husband and I to check out.

My husband normally only likes boxer briefs so the actual boxers were going to be something I was going to test out, the rep from Chill Boys I am working with had mentioned that a lot of women like to wear them to sleep in at night so they included them for me. However things don't always work out the way they are supposed to! My husband liked these underwear so much that he declared all three pairs were his to wear.

My husband works at a job where his is outside a good portion of the day and in houses and building structures that don't have air conditioning so it gets pretty hot for him. The materials these boxers are made out of are silky soft, breathable, comfortable and they really do help you stay cool with the help of the bamboo fabric they use. As a bonus they also help with anti-chafing and they don't ride up on you when you are wearing them so they are great for an assortment of activities. When they are on they are slightly see thru, but I am not complaining. There is a breathable mesh strip that runs along the inside of the boxers along with a strip in the back near where your tail bone is to help keep all of your southern region cool. They fit perfectly and hug your body in all the right spots, these are taggless and none of the seams are irritating to the skin which is a big plus. These boxers have been perfect for our Arizona weather.

I tried on the bamboo boxers and I audibly let out a "wow" because the fabric is so soft, comfortable and instantly cooling. I can see why my husband claimed all three pairs as his own, but he can't wear them all at once so I may steal them from time to time to wear at night while I sleep. Lugz Sneakers for Men!

Usually when I think of Lugz, I think of boots and I know it is the same for many others but did you know they make sneakers as well? I was recently looking through their shoe selection and I was pleasantly surprised at the different styles and colors of sneakers they offer. My husband has been in need of a new good pair of sneakers so we decided to go with the Men's Typhoon Oxford Sneaker in Black/Red along with the color scheme we selected this shoe is available in four other colors.

The Typhoon sneakers have a chunky rubber sole that helps keep your feet protected from the elements and the shoes themselves appear to be made of leather. The shoes look like they would weigh a lot, but they are actually a lot lighter than you'd expect so they are easy to move around in.

My husband and I don't really like the way the shoes from Lugz are laced so we usually unlace them and lace them back up to how we like them, which is an easy task to do. I like that they include a little loop on the shoe to help hold the shoe tongue in place while putting on your shoes and walking.

The shoes offer plenty of arch support along with ankle support thanks to a cushioned insole and a thick cushion around where your ankle is. They are great for all day use, and look great for an everyday look and the all black shoe could even be used with a more formal attire. The stitching is just right and nothing looks out of place, they are extremely well made shoes that are sure to last through many years of wear. Shopping for gifts for men can always be a little difficult, usually during the holidays the usual things come to mind like new pajamas, shoes, etc but what I've never really thought about getting before was a watch. When Jord contacted me recently and asked if I would be interested in working with them on a review and giveaway I said yes. As soon as I opened the package from Jord I was highly impressed and I had not seen the watch at that point. So what was impressive about just opening the package? The watch arrived in a beautiful wooden box that smelled fantastic, it also came with bonus goodies like a brush on preserver for the watch wood. The wooden box it arrived in is the box you can store your watch it, it has a slotted middle and under it is a small baggie that helps control the humidity in the wood and it has a magnetic top. The watch itself is absolutely gorgeous, fits well and looks great with almost any outfit. Their Men's Watch selection is packed full of unique and beautiful watches.



The clasp is very easy to do one handed, it snaps together flawlessly and pops back open without any issues when you squeeze the release buttons. The watch requires no battery, it is self-winding which is pretty neat and crazy, it doesn't seem possible but you can see it moving all by itself. Size wise the watch isn't too bad bulk wise, and it is definitely and eye catching piece. The piece is doesn't move around a lot it likes to sit right on your wrist which means you won't have to fidget with it when you go to check the time.

My fiance and I both work jobs where we are required to do a lot of walking which means we need reliable long lasting shoes. Not all brands of shoes are created equally, some brands are just down right horrible while others reign over the rest in both looks and quantity. Lugz is definitely a company that stands out to me, not only have I received shoes for them for review in the past but I've also bought boots from them as well. Their shoes and boots are extremely well made, they are long lasting and they stand out with their looks.

I very excited about having another chance recently to work with Lugz on a new review and giveaway here on Burning Moon's Inside Advice. I received a pair of Men's Rivington Mid canvas sneaker. Let me start by saying I am sorry I didn't include more personal photos in this review, my fiance ran off with these shoes and got them dirty at work faster than I was able to properly photograph them. He wore and walked in his last pair of shoes so much he wore a hole into them so I can't blame him for snatching these up so fast.

Overall we are pretty happy with this pair of shoes but there are two things that we didn't like, the first is that he finds these more difficult to get on than other mid ankle sneakers however we are hoping as he wears them more that they will stretch out a bit. The second is that they don't seem well ventilated for hot summer days, I wish they had some air holes on the sides to help with a bit of the heat trapped inside. On a good note, these sneakers look great with almost any outfit and they remind me of another popular sneaker brand which I like, they come in five different colors in two different heights. The material used makes them easy to wipe clean if they get overly dirty and they have a sturdy sole along with a comfortable inside which makes these shoes great for my fiances walking needs.

Lugz Review & Giveaway!

A good looking pair of reliable shoes can be one of the most important things you own, they help protect your feet during travel and many people notice shoes when meeting someone for the first time especially during job interviews. Lugz carries a large assortment of shoes and boots that fit both the reliable/sturdy aspect and goes above expectations in the looks department.



The last time I worked with Lugz I reviewed a pair of their Women’s Zrocs, this time I was offered a selection of boots to select from. After looking at the different boots I was able to select from I finally decided on the Men's Empire HI XC in Black/ Smokey and let me tell you it wasn't easy trying to decide which pair to review. I requested these boots in my husbands size because boots are pretty much the only type of footwear he will wear and these look just right for him.



This boot is fleece lined high-top boot and comes with a Flexastride molded memory foam insole, I was curious to see how it felt and how much room it took up inside of the boot itself so I slipped my foot into one before my fiance tried them on and they are pretty comfy! They also have a Mark II tested slip resistant rubber sole which is perfect for working outside in stormy conditions, going hiking and more. My fiance wore these all day Sunday while we were out of town enjoying our escape the room adventure and he was very comfortable in them the whole day. The first time he tried them on he thought they were just a tad bit too big because there seemed to be extra room near his toes but once he got up and started walking around the realized they were just right and the little bit of room was nice near is toe area. If anything gets spilled on them or mud slashed up on them they are easy to clean and will look brand new again once they are wiped off. I think these boots look very professional and are a good year round boot.

I've featured a number of women's and children's so far as part of my 2016 Holiday Gift Guide so now it is time for something for the men. If you are a cable TV watcher I am sure you've seen the hilarious commercials from the Dollar Shave Club which helps you Shave time & Shave money with their subscription boxes. Each month they will ship you a box that has new razors in it, they have three different priced boxes depending on what kind of razor you would like, they also offer tons of facial products and bath products such as their one wipe charlies that you can add to your box.



In my box I received a very nice razor handle with a set of four six blade razor heads, Dr. Carver's Post shave cream, Dr. Carver's Repair Serum, Dr. Carver's pre-shave oil, Big cloud good shake hand cream, Big cloud wind master lip balm, Dr. Carver's shave butter & A pack of One wipe Charlies. I love that they offer a wide variety of facial and skin products for men that help their skin before, during and after shaving because everyone knows that razor burn is unpleasant and no one wants that on their face, having skin that isn't dried out also helps prevent in-grown hairs so that is a plus. These products will help you (or your husband/brother/son) get a close and smooth shave, the post shave products will them help with providing moisture to the skin and help it look it's best.

 

You won't find any fruity, flowery or girly scents in this box! All of the products are very light in fragrance if at all, and they are all manly smells many of the products remind me of a light sandal wood scent and they smell pretty good. Depending on how often you shave the facial products should last quite a while since you only need a little bit of each. The one wipe charlies are a great addition to any bathroom, they are peppermint scented butt wipes an will leave you feeling fresh and sparkly clean for those who have never used them before they may leave your butt feeling a little tingly and minty fresh due to the peppermint, they will leave you clean and smelling fresh. The basic razor box itself ranges from $1 for two blade razors to $9 a month for six blade razors and all the extra facial products vary in price this way you can customize your box to fit with your affordability.This subscription box really does live up to the hype you see in their commercials and they are worth checking out for yourself, or for a loved one, you could even pick some of these products up and use them as useful stocking stuffers.

Mantry Review!

My fiance gets just as curious about what is in the packages that arrive to our home as I do, and he does get a little bummed out when I open it and he sees it is just makeup,toys or something that isn't too guy friendly. Let's face it, who doesn't like getting mail especially when the package is a surprise so you can imagine how happy he was when I told him we were getting the July box from Mantry for a review. Women have makeup subscription boxes and more so why can't the guys have some fun subscription boxes too? Mantry is a manly subscription box that shows up at your door monthly, with editorial stories and recipes that any guy can master with the products included in the box.





The package arrived in the evening when I was giving our son a bath, I heard the UPS guy knock and my fiance answered the door and he instantly became excited when he realized what it was. I had to tell him to wait to open it until our son was out of the bath so I could take some photos while he opened it. Each month the Mantry items arrive in a neat wooden crate and everything is packed to perfection so that nothing breaks, I like the crate because it can be reused to store things in the garage, broken down for a bon fire, or it can be used for a number of other things. Inside of the package we found Bittermilk - Bourbon barrel old fashioned, Chef's cut Jerky - Chipotle cracked pepper jerky, Vermont smoke & cure smoked pepperoni, Halfpops chipotle barbecue halfpops, Skillet Street food bacon jam and Southern Soul BBQ Hot Georgia soul sauce. As with any subscription of there is no guarantee you will love every single item that comes in the box, my fiance was very excited about all the items aside from the Bittermilk.





The jerky was the first thing to disappear from the box because my fiance loves almost everything having to do with Chipotle and we are both jerky lovers so he ate this right away. The Smoked pepperoni is also pretty good it has a rich flavor that normal store bought pepperoni doesn't offer, we used this to make a BBQ pepperoni and chicken pizza and we also ate some on crackers. The halfpops were also pretty good they are a cross between popcorn and corn nuts, they were crunchy and offered a mouth full of flavor, I would be interesting in seeing what other flavors they sell. We haven't used the other products as of yet but we plan on using them soon. The two recipes they featured with this box are a Smoked Pepperoni, Mozza & Basil grilled cheese and a Pulled pork with bacon jam and sliced apple sandwich that use products in this specific crate. If you want to try out the recipes yourself they are available on their website. What did we do with the wooden box? Our daughter asked to use it as a pet bed for her stuffed animals so we let her keep in after removing the two large staples that hold the lid onto the crate. The crates are $75 a month plus $10 for shipping and handling, it includes Six full sized artisan food products all handmade in the USA.

The ring is also very durable I work as a cashier which means I use my hands constantly & they do get hit up against hard objects a lot while working I have never once had a fear that this ring was going to break,chip or get any scratches. I like thinner rings that don't take up a large portion of my finger so I was happy that I was able to choose my own width for the ring it turned out perfect! I am part of the Carmex Blog Squad which means I get to test out a bunch of their new products,Recently I was sent their new Carmex Healing Lotion & Healing Cream collection.Due to having dry patches of skin various places on my body I love lotion but not all lotion is made the same.
