Uinfootwear slip on shoes Review.

Summer can get quite hot in Arizona so it is nice to have shoes that are breathable and help keep your feet cool when the temperatures are rising. I normally stick with plain black sandals or shoes, but it is always nice to add a pair of shoes that are bright and fun to pair with different outfits. When I was presented with the opportunity to work with Uinfootwear on a review of their shoes I couldn't refuse, the biggest problem was deciding which pair I liked best. 

They have a lot of interesting deigns from some that have subtle patterns to POW in your face designs, after looking through what they had to offer that ships to the US I decided to go with the Cubic butterfly design. Their shoes retail for $70-$120 depending on the style and design, however you can often find deals on their website or you can use code NOOKUIN to get $5 off of your order if you are looking for a better deal.

Their shoes come in eight different womens sizes, I typically wear a nine or a nine and a half depending on the shoe brand. To be on the safe size I went with a size nine, however after receiving the shoes I realized they run a bit large so I wish I would have gone with a 8.5 instead.

The shoe is made from a super light weight canvas, it is quite flexible and flows smoothly with the motion of your steps along with the cushy ortholite insoles. The bottom of the shoes have a neat spherical water-ripple that is meant to add extra support and cushion. I think this would be a great pair of shoes to toss into my luggage to take with on our mini road trips to explore our home state. The overall support is good, I wore these on a trip to the store and to walk around and the soles of my feet were comfortable the entire time.

These shoes are so light you can almost forget that you are wearing them, they are easy to slip on and off without any hassle so it is perfect for if you're in a rush to get out the door you can slip these on and go. They do help keep my feet cool while wearing them, my only issue is like I mentioned above that they are slightly large so they rub the back of my heels a bit. I have some small gel cushions in them at the moment, but they keep falling down so I need to look for a better heel support to prevent blisters. Width wise they are great, the bit of black you see in the photo above is just my half socks not extra space between the show and my foot. The rounded ballet shape where your toes go gives your tootsies plenty of space without being squashed up against one another.

If the ballet shape isn't your style or you want a pair of shoes you can wear full socks with they have plenty of other options available over on their site.

Lugz Sneakers for Men!

Usually when I think of Lugz, I think of boots and I know it is the same for many others but did you know they make sneakers as well? I was recently looking through their shoe selection and I was pleasantly surprised at the different styles and colors of sneakers they offer. My husband has been in need of a new good pair of sneakers so we decided to go with the Men's Typhoon Oxford Sneaker in Black/Red along with the color scheme we selected this shoe is available in four other colors.

The Typhoon sneakers have a chunky rubber sole that helps keep your feet protected from the elements and the shoes themselves appear to be made of leather. The shoes look like they would weigh a lot, but they are actually a lot lighter than you'd expect so they are easy to move around in.

My husband and I don't really like the way the shoes from Lugz are laced so we usually unlace them and lace them back up to how we like them, which is an easy task to do. I like that they include a little loop on the shoe to help hold the shoe tongue in place while putting on your shoes and walking.

The shoes offer plenty of arch support along with ankle support thanks to a cushioned insole and a thick cushion around where your ankle is. They are great for all day use, and look great for an everyday look and the all black shoe could even be used with a more formal attire. The stitching is just right and nothing looks out of place, they are extremely well made shoes that are sure to last through many years of wear. Women's Fur lined boots by Lugz!

Everyone should own a comfortable pair of boots for when the occasion calls for them & also to be fashionably cute. I adore boots that have a little extra flair like a fur liner so when I was offered the chance to review the Women's Empire Hi Fur 6-inch Boots from Lugz, I couldn't say no. They offer the boots in six different colors include a lovely rose pink color, however I usually am dressed in all black so I went with the all black boots.

We enjoy going hiking together as a family, we go camping and we enjoy being out in nature so these boots are perfect for when we are out and I need better protection than sneakers offer. We recently drove a few hours up to Northern Arizona to play in the snow, which provided the perfect opportunity to really test these boots out. The fur isn't only around the liner of the ankle, but it also goes down the inside of the boots tongue which adds extra cushion for your feet. The fit of these is perfect for me, no squished toes or heels rubbed raw.

The bottoms are made of rubber and are built to be slip and water resistant, they did fantastic walking around in the snow. The only issue I had was that the snow we were in was fairly soft due to it being fresh so with all of the walking around it got a little packed in the bottom of my boots, so when I was going down hill on a sidewalk that was already a little slippery there was an instant where I felt a little slippage but once I knocked all of the snow out of my boot everything was fine.

Even though I was running around in the snow, some spots even going up past my ankle these boots didn't let any snow or water into them. My feet stayed dry, comfortable and most of all warm the entire time we were out, I loved having them on because not only were they comfortable but they look great as well. I did end up re-lacing them before wearing them as I usually don't like the way shoes come pre-laced.

The insides of the shoes have a Flexastride memory foam insole that feels like a little cloud in your boots. The boots have a deep pure black coloring to them that looks gorgeous in person, even after playing in the snow, walking in a little bit of a muddy area and walking around in a wet grassy area the boots still stayed fairly clean. If they do get dirty they are easy to wipe off with a damp wash cloth. I am a some what short so I also like that these boots give me an extra 1 to 1 1/2 inches in height. The boots will help keep your feet protected while working, hiking or playing and they aren't that heavy so you won't feel weighed down walking around for long periods of time. Cute flats from Mox Shoes!

Usually if I am not wearing my sneakers for work or when it is chilly, I enjoy wearing my sandals. 80% of the year I can be found in my sandals, but I wanted to look for a pair of shoes that was better for social settings than sandals that were still breathable, comfortable and didn't have a heel so when I found Mox Shoes I had to have a pair! Mox Shoes sells man made rubber low maintenance flat that are pretty cute.

Their shoes arrive packaged in a 100% cotton, biodegradable and reusable string bag. I like that instead of unnecessary packaging they included something that you can use over and over again, the bag is perfect for carrying small groceries, toys for the park, or even just your shoes. Mox is an Australian based company so their shoe sizes are a bit different than ours, however they have a very helpful guide on their site to help you find the correct size. I normally wear a size nine in women's so I checked their chart and went with a size 41, the length is perfect I even have a little bit of room between my toe and the top of the shoe, but I wish I would have gone with the 42 which is for shoe size 9.5-10 simply because the width on the 41 is slightly too small for me, so when I remove the shoes I have an imprint of the design on the side of my foot that gets a little itchy. Otherwise I love these shoes.

The shoes are light weight and easy to slip on when you are in a hurry (when you are a busy mom, when are you not in a hurry?). I like that even though they are made from rubber they didn't arrive with any kind of funky chemical type smell which can happen with some materials. If you happen to get anything on your shoes, they are very easy to wash off and they will dry properly thanks to the material used and the design of the shoe, so no more worrying about funky shoe smell from your shoes getting wet. Did you end up with sand in your shoes? Easy just take them off and give them a shake and the sand will come out.

During the summer it gets pretty warm out so the design is quite nice for helping keep your feet cool with proper air flow. I've worn these shoes a few times to different events and I found them to be supportive and they seem to be non-slip as well because the design of the shoe continues on the bottom. The shoes don't take up a lot of room so they are easy to transport with you if you don't plan on putting them on right away, for example if you know you will be wearing high heels all day for an event but want to transfer into more comfortable shoes afterwards you can bring these with!

My fiance and I both work jobs where we are required to do a lot of walking which means we need reliable long lasting shoes. Not all brands of shoes are created equally, some brands are just down right horrible while others reign over the rest in both looks and quantity. Lugz is definitely a company that stands out to me, not only have I received shoes for them for review in the past but I've also bought boots from them as well. Their shoes and boots are extremely well made, they are long lasting and they stand out with their looks.

I very excited about having another chance recently to work with Lugz on a new review and giveaway here on Burning Moon's Inside Advice. I received a pair of Men's Rivington Mid canvas sneaker. Let me start by saying I am sorry I didn't include more personal photos in this review, my fiance ran off with these shoes and got them dirty at work faster than I was able to properly photograph them. He wore and walked in his last pair of shoes so much he wore a hole into them so I can't blame him for snatching these up so fast.

Overall we are pretty happy with this pair of shoes but there are two things that we didn't like, the first is that he finds these more difficult to get on than other mid ankle sneakers however we are hoping as he wears them more that they will stretch out a bit. The second is that they don't seem well ventilated for hot summer days, I wish they had some air holes on the sides to help with a bit of the heat trapped inside. On a good note, these sneakers look great with almost any outfit and they remind me of another popular sneaker brand which I like, they come in five different colors in two different heights. The material used makes them easy to wipe clean if they get overly dirty and they have a sturdy sole along with a comfortable inside which makes these shoes great for my fiances walking needs.

A good looking pair of reliable shoes can be one of the most important things you own, they help protect your feet during travel and many people notice shoes when meeting someone for the first time especially during job interviews. Lugz carries a large assortment of shoes and boots that fit both the reliable/sturdy aspect and goes above expectations in the looks department.



The last time I worked with Lugz I reviewed a pair of their Women’s Zrocs, this time I was offered a selection of boots to select from. After looking at the different boots I was able to select from I finally decided on the Men's Empire HI XC in Black/ Smokey and let me tell you it wasn't easy trying to decide which pair to review. I requested these boots in my husbands size because boots are pretty much the only type of footwear he will wear and these look just right for him.



This boot is fleece lined high-top boot and comes with a Flexastride molded memory foam insole, I was curious to see how it felt and how much room it took up inside of the boot itself so I slipped my foot into one before my fiance tried them on and they are pretty comfy! They also have a Mark II tested slip resistant rubber sole which is perfect for working outside in stormy conditions, going hiking and more. My fiance wore these all day Sunday while we were out of town enjoying our escape the room adventure and he was very comfortable in them the whole day. The first time he tried them on he thought they were just a tad bit too big because there seemed to be extra room near his toes but once he got up and started walking around the realized they were just right and the little bit of room was nice near is toe area. If anything gets spilled on them or mud slashed up on them they are easy to clean and will look brand new again once they are wiped off. I think these boots look very professional and are a good year round boot.

I am constantly on my feet at work which means I need a pair of shoes that are not only durable but also comfortable and will last. I was recently given the chance to work with a shoe company called Lugz who makes an assortment of shoes, boots and some apparel items. For my review I received a pair of their new womens sneakers the Ladies Zroc which comes in two colors White/Yonder Blue and White/Mulberry, I choose the White/Yonder Blue as shown above. This shoe appealed to me because I know Lugz is a reliable company, I've heard many good things about their boots and shoes but I had never personally owned a pair so I was extra excited when I came home and found my new sneakers on my porch.

This sneaker features a permahide upper shoe, a cushioned insole with a padded tongue and collar, the shoe is completely white on the outside aside from a Yonder Blue trim and a metallic inset “L” logo on side panel with the inside of the shoe being Yonder Blue. I love how comfortable this shoe is you can tell there is quite a bit of padding on the inside, and the shoe lace slots are unique instead of being a hole in the fabric of the shoe it is a small metal bar you slide the shoe lace under. I've been wearing them for a little over a week now and so far they are holding together well, they are breathable and they don't rub on the back of my ankle which has been a problem with other shoe brands. They were easy to break in and seem like they are going to be a long lasting shoe that will get many miles on my feet at work. These shoes are sold for $59.99 per pair and can be found along with dozens of other shoe and boot designs, there is something for everyone and they even have shoes for kids.
