I Like Book Giveaway!

Having something special to share with your significant other or child is Important & everyone should have a special ritual or routine they do with that special person. One of my personal favorite things to keep connected is the I Like Book. What is an I Like Book? It is a journal that is full of lined pages along with some photos spaced through out the book,Depending on the book you have you would write something you Like about the person the book belongs to every day showing them everything you love about them.

I know many of you drink coffee in the mornings but do you ever have a little treat with it or dunk anything such as cookies into your coffee? Personally my favorite was the Chocolate Cherry it was a delicious combination & had plenty of almond slivers,My least favorite was the Ginger-spice simply because I didn't like the flavor mixture. These cookies taste wonderful dipped in coffee or milk but they also taste great without dipping them into anything, If I had hot coco I probably would have tried it with that as well. It is a delightful accompaniment for coffee, tea, soft cheeses and fine light wines. My husband is quite happy that we are having a little boy, He is having a great time helping pick out shoes,jackets,ect that fit our style so when I found out about a company called Me In Mind Footwear we were both exited to receive the chance to work with them on a review.

I couldn't wait to get the box open and check out these adorable baby boots. After thinking about It I decided it was time to update my blog button so I enlisted the help of a wonderful little etsy shop called Winchester Lambourne who does Clipart, digital papers for scrapbooking, & custom graphics (such as Etsy shop banners, business cards, labels and stickers). I asked them to make me a new blog button & I love the results they really took my description of how I wanted the button to look and made it better than I could have expected for the font I said I liked Script & "Spooky" writing I think they picked the perfect pair.

Dollar General Review

Quite a few of you many live near or have been to a Dollar General store,but did you know they have their own store brand diapers that are much cheaper compared to competitor prices? I was recently invited to review their new line of affordable diapers along with a coupon booklet.

Want to know how the prices compare? A pack of DG Baby Diapers - 86ct costs $13 while a pack of Huggies Snug & Dry Diapers - 86ct costs $19.65 Saving you almost $7 on a pack of diapers you could buy you extra wipes or other needed baby items with the money you would save. Yes the price is great but how do they stand up to name brands such as Huggies? Since my son hasn't arrived yet and my daughter doesn't use diapers I tested this diaper out by holding it under a running faucet to see how much water it could hold, Surprisingly it held together better than I thought like many others I was a little wary of how the dollar generals diapers would hold,but they held a large amount of water without any leaks or tearing of the diaper. Once I poured out the excess water I poured into the diaper I shook it above the sink to see if it would leak/drip it has a drip or two come off but over all the diaper held the moisture, My husband suggested that I try to "rip" the diaper when wet to see if it would fall apart from them running around,getting changed ect but I was unable to tear the diaper in two. I think these diapers are wonderful & the prices are even better design wise the diapers have pictures of adorable baby animals which would make any child smile, If you haven't been to a Dollar General yet I suggest heading to their website to see if there is one near you, You never know what you might find by visiting the store.****This was not a paid post and my honest opinion was used. Even though I just had my daughter less than four years ago there are plenty of new baby items that have hit the market since including the Lotty Light & Sound Playmat & Gym from Mamas & Papas.

I know my son will enjoy using this once we welcome him into this world! Just have a little bit longer to wait,This mat will be perfect for when he is doing tummy time or just wants to lay on his back watching the colorful characters hanging above him. Based on the size of this mat I would say it is great for ages 0m to 18 months. Some of the features I enjoy include that it has four removable toys which have rattles, squeakers and a teething ring to entertain your baby and Gym arches can be removed as baby grows, or to have Tummy/Quiet Time.

I am quite excited to bring you tonight's review & giveaway, Why? The first product I tried out was the Intense Eye Liner Black & I fell in love with it right away,First I tested it on my hand it went on very smooth and dark I gave it the "test" by running my finger over it to see if it smudges a lot and it didn't. Applying the Intense Eye Liner in Black to my eyes was easy and fast,the eye liner went on very smooth and gave me a great looking line without a need to redo any spots,and it lasted all day even while out fishing! The Secret Weapon Concealer Brush No. 10 was quite nice as well I used it to apply my eyeshadow because I liked the shape of the brush [Which can be seen below] this brush will also become a favorite in my collection my brushes are just as important as my makeup itself. Normally I do not wear lip gloss or lip stick because I can never seem to find the right shade either its so nude it doesn't look like I am wearing anything or else it is too bright/dark I didn't have that issue with the Luminous Lip Gloss Romance. The lip gloss is the perfect shade and doesn't leave my lips feeling sticky or weighted down like other glosses and lipsticks do,the lip gloss lasted four hours including eating and drinking before I had to reapply a new layer.



I can honestly say that I love the Mia Mariu products I was sent, Generally when I am sent an assortment of makeup or makeup related items from a company there is always one product I don't quite like or can use but I didn't have any issues with Mia Mariu. The package arrived fast and in perfect condition everything was in bubble wrap to keep it safe,Based off of the products I received I would purchase and use other products from their line. Along with my review they offered to let me host a giveaway!
