Ripley's Believe it or Not! GIVEAWAY & Review

When I get the chance to I love to read when I was a kid it was one of my favorite past times but now that I have a family to take care of,a Etsy shop,a blog & a full time job to maintain I don't always have the time to sit down & read. On that note I have always been a big fan of Ripley's Believe it or Not! so when I was offered a chance to review their book Strikingly True 2012 I made sure to make time to read through it. Strikingly True features incredible people such as Lucky Diamond Rich and his completely tattooed body, unusual animals like the giant deep-sea isopod, and one-of-a-kind works of art including Rev Mayer’s blood paintings.

Once I knew my book was on its way I felt like a child patiently waiting for a new toy to arrive,It didn't seem to get here fast enough.[Note the book did not take very long to get here I just wanted to read it] once it arrived I started reading it just a few short minutes after it arrived I took some time away from my blog for a few days to take the time to enjoy reading this book. Right away I started finding things I found fascinating I am sure my fiance was being driven a little insane when I tried to read every other one to him. This book offers a lot of reading materials on everything from people,to places & animals the book is 245 pages long each page has any where from 10-20 short paragraphs about some pretty remarkable feats for example here is one of my favorites "A stork named Eodan flies 8,080 Miles each year from South Africa to Brodski Varos,Croatia to visit his handicapped mate,Malena who is unable to fly.They have chicks each year and Rodan teaches them to fly.He then takes them with him to South Africa for the winter and returns with them to Malena in the spring" it was such a touching story its amazing what people & animals do for those they love. If love struck animals aren't your type of thing there are plenty of Tattooed people,Horrible accidents people lived through,Nature devastation & more for your to read through enjoy & get shocked by in this book of Strikingly True 2012. Ripley's Believe it or Not! never fails to surprise me they always offer something to fascinate me with,I have enjoyed working with Ripley's Believe it or Not! & hope to do so again in the future. I think this book is worth the read & would be a great book to reread after your done or even to pass along to a friend who might enjoy the contents of this book,If your looking for a Unique birthday or holiday present this book would make a great gift.This book took me a few days to read I received a lot of entertainment from this book & I am happy to have it in my book collection.****This was not a paid post and my honest opinion was used. Ozeri Review

Cooking is always a time for us to come together in our house everyone helps out when it is time to cook dinner,One of us pulls everything out, while one starts to cook,our toddler will help hand us eggs,ect it is a great time to spend time together. Recently for a review I received a 8" Green Earth Frying Pan by Ozeri, with Smooth Ceramic Non-Stick Coating. The pan is Utilizes an ultra-safe ceramic coating derived from nature which is 100% PTFE and PFOA free & features a scratch-resistant 100 percent ceramic coating as found in nature (no heavy metals or chemicals) that is super easy to clean.

This pan works fantastic every dish I have made turns out perfect & cleaning the pan is very easy nothing ever sticks to it. I think my favorite thing I have made in this pan so far is bacon, Why? It comes out perfect it is just the right amount of crispy without being burnt & the grease is easy to drain. This has become our favorite pan to use for a number of reasons,the pan is a great size,it has a large handle making it easy to transport & turn while cooking & the base of the pan is a little thicker to control where the heat sits & slightly raises the pan off of the burner so that the bottom doesn't get ruined I can see owning this pan for a very long time it is sturdy & reliable. I am very happy with this product & would love to own more products from Ozeri including thier Kitchen Scale,Thermo Glassware,& more. Right now on Amazon this product is avalible for $25 & ships for free with Super Saver Shipping I think some of the pan prices are a little high but they are worth paying for a product that works this great! ****This was not a paid post and my honest opinion was used. Hello Canvas Review

I always enjoy looking for new art,photo frames & decor for my home so I never pass up an opportunity to get a chance at adding something I like to my collection. I was recently offered a chance to review a photo canvas from a company called Hello Canvas.

I was stunned with how fast my canvas arrived I wasn't expecting it to arrive for a few more days I came home from work & found it sitting in my bedroom my fiance had it all set up for me to decide where to place. For my review I received a 24x32 inch canvas print with my choice of photo,I decided on an adorable photo of my daughter at the park, Hello Canvas was very helpful during the ordering process. After the tough decision of what photo to use I sent it in an email for them to print to canvas, The lovely customer service representative named Jessica I worked with emailed me to let me know the image I sent was too small in order for the canvas to come out right I needed to send the original photo [which was on my mothers computer so it took a few days to get], I am very happy with the results.The canvas is sturdy,light weight,& made from thick material to keep your picture safe for years to come. My fiance thought the canvas looked too large at first but after rearranging our living room it fits right in with our other photos & it looks perfect. The ordering process is easy peasy & right now they have two great specials you can get a 12 x 16 Inch canvas for $65 or a 20 x 28 inch canvas for $79 a price that can't be beat for quality this good. Inside my locket I requested a photo of my daughter & a photo of my fiance/myself from Halloween [I love this picture of the two of use] along with "My World" done with laser on the front of the locket.Once my order was place I simply had to wait a few short days before my locket was ready & waiting in my mail.When it arrived I opened it right away I found that it arrived in a sturdy black box that said "Pictures on Gold" the box was a bit heavier than I had expected but upon opening it I found there was a very pretty Black jewelry box with bow inside which I will be storing my gorgeous locket in when I am not wearing it. The locket itself is stunning,I have owned plain picture lockets before but I have never owned one that had engraving on the front or a laser image on the inside I think my locket turned out Perfect,In fact I keep opening it to look at it & show it to my husband who thinks I am obsessed with it,But then again who wouldn't be? I think that the Sterling Silver "Sweetheart" Heart 2 Photo Locket would make the Perfect Valentines gift for a Girlfriend,Wife,or Loved one it will be a piece of jewelry they will want to hold onto forever. The Mill Fudge Factory GIVEAWAY & Review

I have the next three days off from my day job which means its time to kick some butt & get you in the mood for Valentines day.
