This year let Santa send the letter to your child!

Christmas is coming up which means that it is time for holiday lights, gift shopping, decorating and writing letters to Santa. This year not only can you have your kids fill out a letter to Santa, you can have Santa send a letter to your child! Or make it even better by upgrading to a Package from Santa that includes a cookie and more. Ordering is a breeze that only takes a few minutes, and those few minutes will make it to where your child will have a memory for a life time. The cheapest option is Gold which is $14.95, followed by Silver which is $24.95 and then there is the big package which is Platinum and it is $74.95. For a review I received a Silver package which includes a letter from Santa, a nice list certificate, a photo of Santa plus a flight plan photo. All of that sounds great right? Well it also comes with a bonus call and personal video from Santa.



Since I have two kids and we were only getting one package for review I personalized the papers to include both of their names. When picking out your letter you can choose a pre-written letter and just fill in the blank spots or you can type out your own letter. Since all of the letters only have space for one child's name, I used the "write your own" option but still used most of one of their pre-written letters, the process only took about three minutes. Next you can fill out the name for the nice list + Santa's flight plan and you are able to add a photo.




The only paper that didn't print out right was the Nice List Certificate which you can see above, it only printed one name then has some gibberish. With the flight plan photo I went with a photo of us goofing around with snapchat filters because my kids love when we mess around with the filters together and I was right the kids loved the photo on the flight plan. Everything arrived in a cute envelope with a Christmas scenery and a North Pole stamp in the corner, the package arrived quickly and in good shape.

My kids had a lot of fun getting and opening their package together! Getting yearly letters from Santa is definitely something the kids look forward to every year. If you haven't started this tradition yet I highly suggest doing so before it's too late!

Aside from Christmas, Halloween is definitely mine and my fiance's favorite Holiday and we enjoy showing off our Halloween spirit. We decorate the house both inside and outside, we have friends over to celebrate, we visit pumpkin patches, and more. Up until about two years ago we only owned a few indoor Halloween decorations because we had lived in nothing but apartments so now that we have our own home we love adding new decorations to our collection every year. Last year we went with a spider theme, we had a giant web out-front with giant spiders in it along with spider egg sacks hanging from the porch and more. This year we are going with more of a grave yard theme and one of the things I had pictured having in the yard was a wooden directional sign post.

Looking around for sign posts some we too cutesy and others just didn't seem to have the Halloween spirit, that is until I found Narley and Chikki. Their outdoor rustic Halloween sign post had everything I was looking for, it had Halloween inspired fonts on each sign, it has several different locations that suit how our theme will be and the wood has a nice rustic feel without looking too new or too old it was right in between.



The signs do come with the post needed to set them up in the yard and the wood screws needed to install the signs on the post. Each sign was wrapped individually to help keep it safe during shipping which I appreciate and I know others who purchase similar type products would as well. Each sign is hand calligraphed using black acrylic paint then sealed with a clear matte sealant to protect it from the elements. They each measure 14" and 16" long x 3 1/2" wide, and the post is 3' in height, for mine I will be getting a slightly larger post but this has nothing to do with the shop, my front yard has a layer of rocks and I want this to sit up a bit higher to be seen above some of the other decorations like the headstones.

One of my favorite things about these signs is that they are made from reclaimed wood, so each one is unique and won't look like the next sign which is perfect. Each piece is sanded down and sealed so you won't need to worry about rough edges or splinters when adding the signs to the post. At the end of the Halloween season you can either store them still on the post or they can easily be removed within just a few minutes. This sign post sells for $110 for the signs + post + screws which is a great deal, if the signs aren't suited to what you'd like they have other sign sets for weddings and more plus a number of other wooded and non-wooded products like the giveaway prizes below.

My daughter is like many other little girls out there and she loves to paint her nails and when I search for polish for her I want something that is child friendly and still durable enough for her to use. I recently found a great company that makes kid friendly nail polish that fits all of my wants in a kids nail polish. We were both excited to receive the chance to work with a company called Townleygirl who creates and sells an assortment of Disney and DreamWorks Licensed products for girls. We received five products to review, you can see each of them below along with information on that product.



 Disney Tusm Tusm Nail Polish Set - No link available yet this product is being added to their site soon.

Out of the products we received this is my favorite because I love Disney Tusm Tusms and I've never seen beauty products featuring the Tusm characters. This set came with twelve polishes of various shades, two toe separators and a nail file. The toe separators work well and fit both little girl toes and adult toes, the nail file is almost too adorable to use but thankfully the scratchy file side is on the under side of the cute characters. The polish do not have a harsh scent and the formula they used works pretty well, it goes on smoothly and pretty even. Our favorite part of the polish is that the colors are true to how they look in the bottles without having to add more than one layer. This set gets 5/5 stars from us. Note; The three Tusm Tusm figures shown are not included, they are from my son's collection.This set is not only great for kids but it can also be used by adults.



Frozen My Beauty Spa Kit; Retail Value $14.99

This spa set has everything included for creating a wonderful pedicure and the presentation is lovely however this set only receives a 3 out of 5 stars from us. The biggest issue we had with this spa set was the sandals included, the package does not say what size the sandals are and on their website it looks like you can only select a "Medium" kit but it still lacks the information on the sandal sizing. The sandals were too small for both my seven year old daughter and my three year old son, even holding them in my hands I could tell they were small. The sandals also had foam dust as shown in the photo above and they had a slight chemical smell. Aside from the sandals the rest of the set is great, all of the polishes are thick but go on smoothly and they all smell like bubble gum but not in a overwhelming way. The toe separators,nail file and nail buff block not only look great but they work well and get the job done, note; the buff block does not have a smooth side to smooth out and shine the nail is just has rough nail file type sides. Polish colors may vary, the polish colors I received are not what is shown on their website.



Finding Dory 4 Pack Nail Polish and Sticker Set; Retail Value $6.99

I haven't seen the movie yet but seeing the adorable otter nail stickers in this set really makes it to where I can't wait until it comes out on DVD. This set comes with four polishes, 40+ nail stickers and a carrying case. This set gets a 4 out of 5 stars, while the nail stickers are highly desirable due to their cute designs the stickers themselves are too thick to properly stay on the nails for more than a few hours because they are easily ripped off. If the stickers weren't as puffy I think they would work and look a lot better when applied. The polish does not have a scent, formula wise the polishes are a thick clear substance with glitter we found they do better as a glitter topper with another polish as a base coat. Both the carrying case and the polish have little plastic 'bubbles' that are filled with glitter and feature at least on character form the movie, when you shake them the glitter moves around.



Trolls 4 Pack Lip Stick With Mirror; Retail Value $8.99

This little set is adorable and gets a 5/5 stars from the two of us. The set comes with a heart shaped mirror and four heart shaped lip sticks. The lipstick is more just a lip balm then a lipstick, yes it is tinted various shades but it won't turn your little girls lips green or blue instead it will just add a little shimmer. The lip stick applies smoothly and evenly, each stick is scented/flavored differently the one I tried out was the grape and it smells pleasant. The package says the lip sticks are flavored but I could not taste anything at all which is good in my opinion because even regular lip balms can have a nasty wax taste so I am glad this product geared towards children does not have that. The protective film that was on the mirror was a slight pain to get off otherwise the mirror is made well, looks good and is big enough you can see your whole face in it. I can't wait to see this movie when it comes out!



Avengers 8 Pack Lip Balm; Retail Value $8.99

This is a fun set that I enjoy and is another product that gets 5/5 stars from my daughter and I. I like that each character has it's own color and flavor because it makes putting on lip balm more exciting than making it seem like a chore. The lip balms are a little glittery in the tube but it won't make your lips look like a disco ball. The lip balm applies smoothly and sits evenly without leaving your lips with a waxy or oily feeling. This set is a great way to help keep your kids lips moisturized through out the year, and they would make a great stocking stuffer during the holidays.

It is officially April 1st which means Easter is on it's way, and yes my family is already asking what we are doing, who's house were gathering at and wanting to know what we are eating. A great solution to our 'What should we eat?' question is HoneyBaked who sells delicious meats, sides and desserts for your holiday or every day needs. I recently participated in a HoneyBaked campaign in which I received a gift card to try out some of the foods from my local HoneyBaked, since I've never had their food I was excited to try it. We visited our local HoneyBaked located at 4635 East Cactus Road Phoenix,Arizona 85032 and was served by a nice employee by the name of Kasha.



I was surprised to find that not only did HoneyBaked offer a number of cooked meats and frozen items but they also had a Cafe where they served salads,sandwiches and more. I was unsure what to purchase so my fiance and I walked around looking at everything for a few minutes before deciding what to buy. The girl who was working offered a few friendly suggestions and let us know which she liked the best from what she has tried along with some helpful tips on how to serve the Turkey/Ham. I know they are most popular for their Honey Baked Ham but I am sorry to say we didn't purchase the Ham, shocking I know instead we went with the roasted Turkey which is coated with the same sweet, crunchy glaze as HoneyBaked’s signature Ham. We also picked up the following sides: Baked Beans, Potato Salad, Macaroni Salad, Sweet Potato souffle, Potato Au Gratin and for dessert we got the Cinnamon Apples and a cheese cake sampler the total came to $84.26 not bad for everything we put together for a meal. Once everything was purchased we set out for my mothers house where I told my family to meet for dinner so we could try everything as a family, Two of the sides and a dessert needed to be placed in the oven and we also used the oven to heat up the Turkey.



 Once everything was done cooking it smelled so good in the Kitchen everyone couldn't wait to dig in even the Easter bunny couldn't wait to get his fill of the food. Now comes the time for the Good, the Bad and the Bloated: The food review. The Turkey did wonderful with being reheated in the oven the hard honey coating melted slightly in the oven keeping the Turkey moist and tender, it was the best Turkey I've had in quite some time. The next favorite that everyone commented on was the Sweet Potato souffle which even my brother who hates sweet potatos loved and went back for a second helping, the Baked Beans were pretty scrumptious as well and you can see from the photos above it hard large chunks of bacon and not the flimsy fake bacon you find in a lot of processed or frozen products but wholesome thick bacon made in house. The two things that weren't really liked as much was the  Potato Au Gratin and macaroni salad, Why? The main comment on the macaroni salad was that there was too much mayo and the seasoning tasted off, as for the Potato Au Gratin it took quite some time to cook and didn't have a great taste or consistency other wise everyone loved the meal.



We were quite pleased how everything turned out even my beyond picky five year old had some Turkey and rolls with us and my one year old ate what ever we gave him happily enjoy the meal as well. Shortly after  everyone let their stomachs settle we had some Cinnamon Apples and assorted cheese cake, everyone felt bloated, full and happy after everything was said and done the kind of happy full you get when eating Thanksgiving dinner. The meal we purchased fed Seven adults and two children for $85 is a great deal for a good wholesome meal plus dessert we have all agreed that this Thanksgiving we are taking the easy and delicious road and purchasing from HoneyBaked again. The evening ended up with all of us sitting on the porch enjoying a nice sunset on full tummies. Since Thanksgiving is still a long ways off why not take advantage of the Easter sales and try some of their food this upcoming holiday? I am a bit picky about my wall art so when I find a website that offers fun,bright & nice wall art or home decor I book mark it so I can come back and pick up a few things for my home. For a recent review I was able to pick out a few of my favorites from the website,It was hard to make a choice but in the end I decided to get the Butterfly Wall Decals in Black,Bats Halloween Wall Decals in Black & Stars And Moon Wall Decal Set in Yellow. The decals arrived fast & in perfect condition inside of a round shipping tube to keep the decals from being smashed, I was excited to see how they looked in person & how well they worked. The decals are true to how they look in the photos online which is always a great thing to find out because a lot of items look different from the photos shown whether it is size,color,lighting,ect some items just disappoint but these items didn't. Since we live in an apartment & I can't technically stick things like wall decals to the wall I have come up with a different way to display them depending on the image I either put them into a nice photo frame or I will apply them to a semi-thick piece of construction paper or poster board & use a small piece of tape on the back to stick them to the walls. I find it helps keep them in perfect condition longer,Can be moved around more often & can be stored easily when not in use. The decals were easy to apply the peeled off the transfer paper easily & stick very well when you are applying it to the item you would like. My favorite part about wall decals is that it they don't have to go on the wall I have stuck mine on my daughters dresser,Designed her a fun kids table,& more there is an unlimited amount of ways you can use these decals. A major positive aspect about Curly Q is that the decals are all at low affordable prices keeping your wallet happy and your walls looking their best. I enjoy how small the Ceramic Candle Warmer & Dish set is it blends into my kitchen without getting in the way or taking up too much room,while still making my kitchen & living room smell wonderful. I think the Plug In Fragrance Warmer is perfect for a high traffic hall way or bathroom when guests are over. I found that only one to two chunks of the wax melts were perfect for the candle warmer and one chunk was good for the plug in warmer. I have enjoyed using my wax warmer set & I look forward to using it more as the holidays grow closer,I think that the melts can offer a wide range of holiday scents to spread through out my home without having to actually cook the food that delivers the smell. Every year I look for a new Christmas Ornament for my daughter this year I received one from Ornaments with Love who sent me one of their Personalized Fairy Christmas Ornament with Purple Skirt On one leg it has the shortened version of my daughters name & on the other is the year.
