Canna Bath Co. Review!

 

After a long day of work, it can be quite nice to come home & relax in a nice shower or bath, especially if you did something strenuous during the day that might have left you a bit sore. CBD products can help aid in reliving some of your stiffness & pain, over the last several years it has become quite a popular product to use and there are tons of products that contain CBD. In the past I have tried pain creams, lotions & gummies that contain CBD and I recently was able to try something new! CBD infused bath bombs. I was recently sent a few items from Canna Bath Co. to test out & review. If you are new to CBD & aren't entirely sure how it works, they have a FAQ section that may help you.

I was sent three bath bombs - Calm which is the scent bergamot patchouli, Energize which is the scent Coconut Lime & Arouse which is jasmine ylang ylang. Plus, I was also sent a tube of the CBD muscle rub lotion in the scent peppermint eucalyptus and an adorable rubber duck! 

The bath bombs all smell so good, so it is hard to choose a favorite out of the three! Each one weighs 4.5oz which is big enough to fit into the palm of your hand, so you can be sure that just one bath bomb will be enough no matter how full you fill your bathtub. Each one has 60mg of hemp-based CBD that is safe for use on sensitive-skin. They can be purchased for $15 per bath bomb. I found the bath bombs to be quite relaxing to use thanks to the scent combinations used for each one. They dissolved at a fast pace mixing in with the bathwater & the calm had a nice surprise which is a small yellow duckie inside that will also dissolve in the water. The color from the bath bombs will not stain your bathtub which is a plus especially for anyone who rents. I only used two of the bath bombs, one of them I have put aside to put into next month's Beauty & The Book giveaway so keep an eye out for that if you'd like to enter. 

Next is the CBD muscle rub, the peppermint is strong with this one! It is a peppermint eucalyptus scent, but boy is that peppermint scent strong. It does smell good but at the same time it is slightly overpowering for sensitive noses, it kind of smells like a bowl of crushed up peppermint candies. I honestly cannot tell if I like the muscle rub or not. It does help with aches & pains however the peppermint is very cooling, so depending on where you apply this you might not like the tingly feeling it gives. I used this on the top of my hand where I had been having a little bit of pain with the nerve that runs to my thumb & having the cool air touching the spot where the peppermint was already making it chilly almost made it feel like it was burning so I ended up washing it off. It could also just be that I am a wuss when it comes to the cooling tingly feeling. If it were the middle of summer & you used this on a spot that is covered by fabric, I can see having much better results with the cooling factor of the rub. The lotion is cruelty free, paraben free, vegan, gluten free & free of dyes which is nice for anyone with allergies. It contains 200mg of CBD & comes in a 5,5oz tube which can be purchased for $30. You will only need a little bit of the muscle rub at a time, it applies smoothly, absorbs well and works quickly to help target your sore spots. Help control frizz with Emera CBD Hair Care!

Emera CBD Conditioner (Retail $24.99 10oz) - The new bottles are made from Aluminum and have a pump top to get the product out. My bottle ended up with a small ding in the side of the can but it doesn't affect the product or how well it comes out using the pump. When I use this I mainly focus on my scalp and roots, then I add a little water to work it down the rest of my hair. I typically use about half a palm full to a palm full of conditioner when I shower, a bottle can last quite sometime. After the bottle has been emptied using the pump, I add a little water, shake it up and get the last of the product out, this also helps rinse the bottle out before I put it into the recycle bin. 

Emera CBD Reparative Treatment (Retail $30.00 5.1oz) - This is a gentle hair mask that you'll work into damp hair then leave for three to five minutes before rinsing your hair. I generally like to use this once a week, or the day before I do a touch up to my hair dye to help provide some extra moisture to my hair. It is designed to nourish your scalp while strengthening your hair and reducing frizz. 

Emera CBD Detangler Plus (Retail $24.99 4oz) - I love using this when I brush my hair out in the morning and in the evening when I brush my hair, it really helps get through any tangles that might have formed. CBD personal care with CBD Daily!

 

I've reviewed some fantastic products from CBD Daily in the past, and know I am going to share three more fabulous products from their line with you. In a single pump I can apply it to my foot, or to both hands to give you an example of the amount of space you are able to rub it into. This product helps relieve some stress and pain from the area you are applying it to and is great after a long day at work, or working out. First you'll notice that the scent helps calm you, followed up by the product helping soothe the area.

Ultra Care Cuticle Oil - This can be purchased in a 50mg glass bottle for $14.99. During the winter my nails can become a little brittle, even if I manage to grow them out they will eventually all break off doing various normal tasks. So I thought it might be helpful to get a cuticle oil to help strengthen my nails. This cuticle oil is scented with coconut and verbena which is one of my favorite scent combos from their line. This helps my nail beds not look so dried out which in turn helps my nails feel better and hopefully over time will strengthen my nails as well. 

Daily Ultra Care foot cream - This can be purchased in a 100mg glass jar with a pump for $24.99, and also comes in the same scent as the cuticle oil. I love that it comes with a pump, it makes the cream so much easier to get out than having to squeeze it out of a tube.

Soothing aches with CBD Daily + a Giveaway!

 

Like most adults I have aches and pains in various parts of my body, generally my neck and back hurt a little (I could use a new bed and a trip to the chiropractor) so sometimes I need a little help with relief. I like using hot and cold packs but creams and patches can be helpful as well, I was recently sent the CBD Daily Intensive Cream in the scent Lavender to test out. It contains 60mg of CBD designed to help provide relief faster and more intense than other creams without it. The product is THC-free, 100% vegan and cruelty free plus it is made in California. 

This particular scent might be a little strong for some so I would suggest looking into their original scent, I however really love this scent. I didn't used to like the scent of lavender, but I am beginning to enjoy it more and I like that this product smells like a mixture of Lavender and mint (it has menthol). Even before applying this it helps you feel relaxed and calm due to the small, I would 100% love a candle of this. 

They sell a 1.7oz for $39.99 and a 8oz for $139.99 along with several other products in the CBD Daily line. When I have had a long work week and my neck starts feeling a little tense I like using this on the back of my neck and tops of my shoulders, it provides me a little bit of a peppermint tingly feeling and starts to help my muscles relax. I think this would also be helpful after in intense workout for the spots that are extra sore. The cream is pretty thick and silky smooth, a little goes a long way and it absorbs into your skin quickly. Some creams and lotions can leave behind a oily feeling on your hands, which is something that normally turns me away from which ever brand it is, so I am happy this doesn't do that. 

It is crazy how fast it works, when I started writing this post I had rubbed a bit of it into my neck and it is already making my neck feel better. I tend to hold stress in my neck so this is a great product to have on hand.

Fleurtiva CBD drops Reivew.

If you haven't heard of CBD products yet, you may have been hiding under a rock. I've noticed products with CBD popping up more and more, from soaps to lotions and beyond. Depending on how long you've been a visitor to my blog you may have seen that I've worked with the brand Earthly Body on occasion. Earthly body is the umbrella brand for several smaller brands they own, one of which is called Fleurtiva.

Fleurtiva sells Hemp CBD drops in two different flavors and sizes, they are a vegan and cruelty-free brand. CBD has a number of benefits and it can help with a number of things that vary from person to person, Fleurtiva isn't able to make any statements on what it can or can't help due to regulations regarding CBD, however you can look up the variety of benefits it offers to see if this product is right for you.

Why do I choose to use CBD from time to time? Every once in a while the tension in my back starts to build up and cause a bit of a back ache (I need to start doing yoga more!) which can lead to a semi-restless nights sleep. I have found that CBD helps me relax and provides me with a better sleep, I wake up feeling rested and calm. They work quickly, you'll feel calmer within the thirty to sixty minutes after you use this, it can be used any time during the day because it doesn't make you drowsy. 

Their drops come in two different flavors - Marshmallow and Orange and can be purchased in 500mg or 1000mg depending on how strong you'd like your drops. A 500mg bottle can be purchased for $49.99, which may seem a little pricey however the bottle will last quite some time especially if you don't use it that often. To use this you fill the drop half to full and put the liquid under your tongue, holding it there for 30 seconds before swallowing. I personally thought it tasted a bit like sunflower oil, it wasn't the worst flavor in the world though I think I may have preferred a Marshmallow flavor. Have you heard about CBD haircare? I love these products from Emera.

I've featured CBD lotions and gummies in the past but did you know you can also purchase hair care products that are infused with CBD? But how exactly does your hair benefit from having CBD in your hair care products? I was recently sent three of their products to test out and review, I honestly wish I tried all six because I enjoy them so much. For my review I will be sharing the nourishing CBD reparative treatment, scalp therapy and nourishing serum.

First up is the Nourishing CBD Serum which comes in a 2oz bottle for $30. Out of the three products I reviewed this one is my favorite for a few reasons, the first being that it smells really good. I also enjoy the fact that the formula they use is just right which makes it easy to apply, it is light weight and doesn't leave my hair looking greasy or overly oily like I haven't washed it in several days. 2oz doesn't seem like a lot of product, but when it comes to this serum you don't need a lot of it to achieve the look you are wanting, I use maybe a dime size amount each time I use this. It helps control my hair frizz and it helps keep my hair feeling soft. I have noticed after using this that my hair doesn't look nearly as dry as it used to which is a huge bonus since it gets pretty dry here in Arizona which can be harsh on my hair. This serum has quickly become one of my favorite hair care products!

Next up is the Nourishing CBD Scalp Therapy which comes in a 2oz bottle for $30. There are two other very unique ingredients in this product aside from CBD and that is peppermint + menthol, which gives your scalp an almost instant tingly cool feeling which is quite nice (I bet it will be even nicer in summer!). Even after exiting the shower you can still feel the clean, cool sensation for a short period after use.

The formula isn't quite as thin as the serum however it still spreads well though it does take a bit more product to get the full effect you are looking for. It also has a calming scent to it which makes this the perfect product to use during your bedtime routine. My scalp felt clean and refreshed after using this, and it felt healthier for several days afterwards. I honestly don't think this product needs to be used on a daily basis, once a week to once every two weeks should be just right. The goal of this product is to help deeply condition, encourage new hair growth, while softening and strengthening your hair.

Last but not least I reviewed the Nourishing CBD Reparative Treatment which comes in a 5.1oz tube for $30. I really like this product however it is slightly thick so I have to use a decent amount to reach the desired effect so I wish the bottle was slightly bigger. This product aims to help repair and strengthen your hair, while hydrating and encouraging hair growth.

After you've cleaned and washed your hair this is applied to damp hair then rinsed out after 3-5 minutes, I like leaving it in for the whole five minutes while I finish washing before I get out of the shower. My hair has felt softer lately and frizz control has been great, but my hair is a beast so there isn't much that will help control 100% of the frizz. Each one of those products has the scent "Seagrass Mint" which has notes of Sun-drenched Ivy, Lily of the Valley and Peppermint that smells fantastic, I wish I had a few candles with the same scent.

CDB lotion from Liberty Lotion Review + Giveaway!

By now you've heard of CBD products at least once, there are a number of products on the market made using this all natural ingredient that helps with various issues. I recently received some CBD lotions to try out from a company called Liberty Lotion who also carries lip balms and even oils for pets.

Want to know a bit more info on CDB? Here is some info from the Liberty Lotion website, "CBD is a substance found in a variety of plants and other sources, usually deprived from hemp. Scientific studies have indicated that CBD has shown great promise for relief and appears to also aid the body in it's natural regulation".

For my review I received a Infinity Lotion which contains 675 mg of CBD, along with a Limitless Lotion which is CBD free but it mimics similar benefits. Before getting into the review it is important to note that this is note a cure all, and I do not suggest using it on open wounds. Prior to use I was given a tip that to get the most out of the product that when applying instead of rubbing it in until it is gone, you should instead apply a thin layer and allow your skin to absorb the lotion.

For the last week or so my shoulder has been bugging me a bit as I slept on it wrong which can cause me to toss and turn a bit while I sleep. I decided to use this lotion on my shoulder last night to see if it would help. I was surprised that it did help ease the pain of my shoulder allowing me to have a better nights rest, and today my shoulder/neck pain doesn't feel nearly as bad as it has the last few days. I still have a bit of a knot in my shoulder but between a little message and with some help from this lotion it should feel completely better soon. This product can also be used on sore muscles, and bruises however at the moment I don't have either of those so I can not verify how effective they are with both issues. I think this lotion would be great to help relieve muscles after working out or after a hard day of work. I am excited to use this product more in the future.

I do have two things to be slightly nitpicky about, the constancy is a bit thinner than I thought so when you go to pump it sometimes the lotion tends to splatter. I'd keep your hand cupped when pumping out some of the lotion, or perhaps use a spray top vs the pump that is currently on the bottle. My second small thing is I am completely on the fence about whether I do or do not like the smell of the product, It has a bit of an earthy smell to it while also being slightly citric in scent.
