Canna Bath Co. Review!

After a long day of work, it can be quite nice to come home & relax in a nice shower or bath, especially if you did something strenuous during the day that might have left you a bit sore. CBD products can help aid in reliving some of your stiffness & pain, over the last several years it has become quite a popular product to use and there are tons of products that contain CBD. In the past I have tried pain creams, lotions & gummies that contain CBD and I recently was able to try something new! CBD infused bath bombs. I was recently sent a few items from Canna Bath Co. to test out & review. If you are new to CBD & aren't entirely sure how it works, they have a FAQ section that may help you.

I was sent three bath bombs - Calm which is the scent bergamot patchouli, Energize which is the scent Coconut Lime & Arouse which is jasmine ylang ylang. Plus, I was also sent a tube of the CBD muscle rub lotion in the scent peppermint eucalyptus and an adorable rubber duck!

The bath bombs all smell so good, so it is hard to choose a favorite out of the three! Each one weighs 4.5oz which is big enough to fit into the palm of your hand, so you can be sure that just one bath bomb will be enough no matter how full you fill your bathtub. Each one has 60mg of hemp-based CBD that is safe for use on sensitive-skin. They can be purchased for $15 per bath bomb. I found the bath bombs to be quite relaxing to use thanks to the scent combinations used for each one. They dissolved at a fast pace mixing in with the bathwater & the calm had a nice surprise which is a small yellow duckie inside that will also dissolve in the water. The color from the bath bombs will not stain your bathtub which is a plus especially for anyone who rents. I only used two of the bath bombs, one of them I have put aside to put into next month's Beauty & The Book giveaway so keep an eye out for that if you'd like to enter.

Next is the CBD muscle rub, the peppermint is strong with this one! It is a peppermint eucalyptus scent, but boy is that peppermint scent strong. It does smell good but at the same time it is slightly overpowering for sensitive noses, it kind of smells like a bowl of crushed up peppermint candies. I honestly cannot tell if I like the muscle rub or not. It does help with aches & pains however the peppermint is very cooling, so depending on where you apply this you might not like the tingly feeling it gives. I used this on the top of my hand where I had been having a little bit of pain with the nerve that runs to my thumb & having the cool air touching the spot where the peppermint was already making it chilly almost made it feel like it was burning so I ended up washing it off. It could also just be that I am a wuss when it comes to the cooling tingly feeling. If it were the middle of summer & you used this on a spot that is covered by fabric, I can see having much better results with the cooling factor of the rub. The lotion is cruelty free, paraben free, vegan, gluten free & free of dyes which is nice for anyone with allergies. It contains 200mg of CBD & comes in a 5,5oz tube which can be purchased for $30. You will only need a little bit of the muscle rub at a time, it applies smoothly, absorbs well and works quickly to help target your sore spots. Canna Bath Co. also sells an assortment of other products such as bath salts & body wash.

Do you enjoy using CBD products? Would you want to try out one of the many products Canna Bath Co. offers? Which of the three scents of bath bombs listed above would you be most interested in trying?

Soaking In Sweetness Review & Giveaway!

Sometimes after a long stressful week at work it is nice to soak in a nice hot bath tub, but what fun is it just soaking in hot water without some bath salts, fun bath bomb or lovely smelling bubble bath? I recently received the opportunity to work with a fantastic small business called Soaking in Sweetness who sells a decadent line of bath products that look good enough to eat. So much so that they come with a warning label not to eat the products. The store owners name is Tara, she is quite friendly and quick to respond, I found her to be very attentive and I enjoyed working with her.

Many of their bath products are based off of real life treats such as cupcakes, cookies and more. You can buy single products or gift packs such as the Spa gift set I received (and one of you will too!). The spa gift set I received comes with a lip balm, a bath bomb, a bubble bar and a sugar scrub soap. This specific spa box sells for $29.

Not only are the products themselves sweet but the packaging is sweet as well, not only is everything neatly packaged into a giftable box, it also comes with a box, a gift tag and a small thank you bag with some candy in it. I think the presentation is perfect and I would be very excited to give this as a gift to a loved one. Everything is birthday cake scented.

The bubble bar looks almost exactly like the sugar frosted cookies they sell at the store, in fact when my kids first saw it they thought I bought them a cookie to eat. This set smells so good, almost fruity yet sweet. The only product I didn't test out in this set was the lip balm, because I am saving it to include in next month's Beauty & The Book Giveaway so share the love.

Bubble Bar: This bar reminded me of a real cookie when I put it under the water. The instructions say to hold it under the water and gently rub that bar to allow the bubbles to start forming in the tub, after a short amount of time half of the cookie fell into the tub just like a cookie does when you hold it in your milk for too long. It was easy to snatch back up and finish breaking it up under the water to allow for the maximum amount of bubbles. The bubbles lasted the entire time I was in the bath.

Cupcake Bath Bomb: After opening this a few sprinkles fell off otherwise I was impressed with how well the top frosting stayed on the bottom. Each of the birthday cake themed cupcakes have a mystery color inside of them that will turn your bath water that color - mine was blue! The base dissolved nicely, I found the top to be a little more soap like and I had to help it along a little to break it down, but it was kind of fun. After my bath my skin was left feeling soft and smelling sweet, between that and a hot bath before bed I had a great nights sleep.

Bundt Cake Soap: This soap is very detailed, store owner Tera even added frosting to this to make it look like an actual bundt cake. The way the soap bar is shaped makes it easy to hold onto when it is wet and helps add an extra "Scrubbing" texture to the bar for when you are washing up. I also found that the shape of it helped it dry a little faster since the water was able to slide right off and not just sit there.

Soaking in the tub was quite relaxing, but if baths aren't your thing they also sell shower steamers, body lotions and more so you are sure to find something you are interested in. Ready to test these out for yourself? Stop by to see everything she offers, but before you go enter to win a spa gift set just like the one I received.

Prize Alert: One lucky winner is going to receive a gift set just like the one I did!

Georgia Charms Cosmetics Giveaway & Review!

****This was not a paid post and my honest opinion was used. The opinions are solely my own and may vary from others. The products mentioned below have been provided by Georgia Charms Cosmetics for the review & giveaway free of charge.****
Life can be stressful so it is nice to have one or more ways to relax and unwind after a stressful or just an eventful day. One of the best ways for me to unwind is with a relaxing hot bath before bed, I get to just sit and not worry about anything I just kind of drift away for a little while and the hot water helps me sleep better at night since I don't go to bed stressed out. What would make the bath even better? Bath bombs, bubbles and other bath goods. I am excited to share that I received the chance to work with a great Etsy shop called Georgia Charms Cosmetics and I was able to test out a number of products from her line, plus I have not one but two different giveaways to share with my readers.

For my review I was sent a Harry Potter charm golden snitch bath bomb, Love spell rainbow Unicorn horn bubble bar, Dr. who Tardis bubble bar,A unicorn bath bomb, A Lord Of The Rings surprise ring bath bomb, Cup 'o Joe face mask, cupcake'd face mask and salty sea face/body scrub. I had mentioned that several of my blog readers had mentioned being fans of GOT and although I am not a fan myself I would be interested in hosting a giveaway with one of the products for my fans who do enjoy the show, so the store owner sent me a GOT bath bomb to giveaway + an extra Dragon charm for me! All of the products have unique and distinct scents from each other, my favorite was the Golden snitch bath bomb it smelled divine and I loved still being able to smell it the next day while I was at work because the scent was so nice. I also really love the smell of the love spell bubble bar and the salty sea scrub which I wish I had more of.

Bath Bombs:  All three of the bath bombs I received for review smell great, they aren't over powering but are strong enough they make the water and your skin scented which I like because I get to still smell the bath bomb even after getting out of the bath. I did notice the LOTR bath bomb did leave my tub looking a little green but after washing it out it went away. I was nervous to use the Golden Snitch bath bomb at first because it is coated with gold glitter and I wasn't sure how the glitter was going to be. I am happy to say that I did not get out of my tub covered in glitter and it actually turned out to be my favorite of the three bath bombs I received. Each bath bomb has some kind of surprise in it, the LOTR has "the ring" inside of it in one of three colors and happens to be one of the only jewelry surprise bombs/candles I've received where the ring actually fits. The Golden snitch had a Harry potter charm and the Unicorn bath bomb has a unicorn charm in it!

Want to see the bath bombs in action? Visit my Instagram page and click on the videos of the bath bombs being dropped into the tub.

Bubble Bars: These bubble bars are bubble bath in solid form which have been pressed into various shapes such as a tardis or a Unicorn horn. To use them you have to break them apart in your bath tub, some bubble bars you only need to use a portion but I like using the whole thing. Out of the two the love spell unicorn horn was my favorite because it smelled like sweet tarts and it was also my fiance's favorite smell wise.

Face Masks/Scrub: I wasn't a huge fan of the Cupcake'd mask, it didn't really sit as well as I would have liked and the scent was a bit off for me. The Cup 'o joe really does smell like a cup of coffee in the morning and the texture of the mask is helpful for getting rid of dirt and unwanted dead skin. The salty sea face/body scrub was my favorite of the three, my skin was left feeling and looking amazing plus it smells really good.

Prize Alert:
I have two prizes up for grabs, the first is a bath set that comes with a Game of Thrones inspired bath bomb, a Hufflepuff house bath bomb, a Dumbledore bath bar and a sample of the Cup 'O Joe face mask.

The second is for a Harry Potter sorting house bath bomb

Neptune's Garden Review!

****This was not a paid post and my honest opinion was used. The opinions are solely my own and may vary from others. The products mentioned below have been provided by Neptune's Garden for the review free of charge.****

Between my day job, house work, cooking, playing with the kids, and working out some days can be stressful and on the days that are extra stressful I like to let my muscles and body relax in a nice hot bath. Sometimes I enjoy using bath salts, other times I use bubble bath but my absolute favorite thing to use are bath bombs. Why? Because they are fun to use, can help your skin look and feel better plus they usually smell pretty good. I was recently drawn to a Etsy shop called Neptune's Garden who produces handmade bath bombs, bath scrubs and other bath goodies. Madisen the shop owner was kind enough to send me out two beautiful bath bombs for review, one is a Pink Grapefruit and Lilly pink sea salt bath bomb and the other is a Mermaid bath bomb which hasn't been listed on the site yet and I do not have the scent for it but it smells pretty good.

For this review I only reviewed the sea salt bath bomb because the Mermaid bath bomb is being saved for a special spa type gift set I am putting together to giveaway to one of my readers. The Pink grapefruit lilly bathbomb smelled great however I couldn't smell any grapefruit to it, instead it reminded me of rose scented lotion which is still a very pleasant smell. Once placed into the tub the fizz is strong with this bath bomb, you can hear it as it hits the water and starts to dissolve which is a neat sound to hear. Once fully dissolved your bath water will be scented and slightly misty from the ingredients in the bath bomb. I found that it made the bath water scented but the scent wasn't over powering enough to fill the bathroom. I liked that the bath bomb fully dissolved even the pink salt in it fully dissolved into the tub which helped bring moisture and the lovely scent to my skin while I was bathing. I really like that some of Neptune's Gardens bath bombs are painted with skin safe dyes, I also enjoy the packing process, it is simple and to the point without being overly wasting and she also includes a list of ingredients right on the bag which is nice for gifting purposes. This bath bomb did not leave my skin with an oily or greasy feeling which I thought was a big plus, I've tried some in the past that just made my skin feel nasty but this bath bomb wasn't like that.

The bath bombs she sent arrived quickly and were well packaged to protect them in case they were dropped or tossed by the delivery drivers. Size wise I think these are a great size especially for my bath tub size because it doesn't get drowned out by the water. Neptune's Garden sells bath bombs in full sized or cut in half as a half size which is nice for if you are wanting to try different scents without breaking the bank. Full sized bath bombs are $4 each and half size are $2 each, along with bath bombs she also sells soap and sugar scrubs. Feel free to stop by Neptune's Garden and see what goodies await!
