Damsel in This Dress GIVEAWAY & Review

I know many of you have been waiting for this post & have been wondering what it is,I have told you a few times over the last week that I have a very special Review & Giveaway for you here on my blog this is a One time change giveaway! But you had no idea what it was besides that fact that it can be worn so now I am very happy to reveal my secret with you.

I recently had the amazing honor of working with a company called Damsel in This Dress,Who makes Gorgeous Corsets,Blouses,Skirts,Hats & Neck Ruffles.The owner is a Fun loving geeky woman named Michelle,All of her products are made from her Original designs she has been working on Corsets for Years,Lover her corsets but want a different color or a Hood added? Just ask her & she is happy to add it on for you.Here is a little bit of information from her site "Designed from Her own signature patterns,Made with sturdy upholstery weight fabric,which is also used for the lining.Double stitched with upholstery thread with a tensile strength of 8 lbs.Rigid at the front openings with her signature, rubber-dipped fiberglass boning. which is Boned throughout the bodice with double-thickness European Spring Steel.They are Professionally set with wide double-sided brass grommets.All corsets Designed for women's bodies!!!"

For my review I received A Black Corset like the corset above,along with a Black matching Red Ridding Hood Hood & a Peasant top.Talking with the owner about how to take my measurements was extremely easy the owner is easy going,easy to get along with & super kind.As many of you know from previous posts over the year I have been working out & eating better to help me lose the small Belly I have 'collected' over the last year or so I have been successfully loosing weight so when I was told to measure myself for the measurements on the corset I sucked in my belly to my Goal 'Size' & sent those measurements to her,She actually sent a corset slightly smaller in size but I didn't find that out until after I tried it on.When the package arrived from Damsel in This Dress I was very excited to get the box open to reveal my new corset that I couldn't wait to show off to my friends & family,Even though this is my prize for losing my goal weight amount I had to try it on right away much to my surprise it fits amazingly.Since Michelle makes front lacing corsets they are easy to lace & tie without needing any help from someone else,Along with my corset I received on of her New Magazines which shows photos of her work,Frequently asked Q & A's,& much more in the magazine she explains that she does not like making/will not make back lacing corsets because they are hard to lace yourself & because it causes a Roll of skin/fat to gather in the middle of your back which is very uncomfortable talking with a friend of a friend who owns a back lacing corset she says it is very true that they are uncomfortable because of that small issues & the fact she needs her room mates help to lace/unlace her corset.My corset was super easy to lace up & tie myself if you lace it from Top to bottom it helps push any problem areas you have lower & helps 'Tighten' them in so that they do not show since Michelle makes corsets that have a longer side/length than normal corsets it also helps hide any love handles you may have.She can make corsets in any size though prices may vary depending on the design,fabric,details & size you want.She also makes matching skirts in her shop,Though she has literally made thousands of sales & sold hundreds of corsets & skirts I found out that it is ONLY her,Her husband & her best friend who produces all of the products they sell making it to where each & every order really is handled with love & care from the creators. As for Jewelry I plan on wearing one of my Hand made Chain Maille Necklaces with my new Corset from Damsel in This Dress.

I was very surprised how fast my corset was made & shipped to me it was way above my expectations,As noted above earlier even though I am not at my goal weight yet the corset works wonders easy to put on easy to lace & makes me look like I am already at my goal weight,I have never owned a real corset before so I was very happy to find out that it is very easy to breath,Sit & maneuver in the corset.I know most only wear corsets for special occasions such as parties,Halloween,Weddings ect but I also plan on wearing this out & about,I also plan on wearing it to concerts I go to so I plan on buying fun colored shirts to go under my corset so I can mix & match.Michelle makes matching skirts for her Corsets but I also found that these corsets look great with any thing fancy skirts,regular skirts,Jeans or even shorts depending on how you like to dress.I have a feeling that all my extra cash will go towards saving up for another corset,Michelle has an amazing Pirate Coat I have been keeping my eye on that I hope to one day be able to buy & wear.Her corsets & Skits aren't the only thing worth buying in her shop,If you want a chance to know Michelle better,See more of her past work & more I suggest buying her Magazine it has everything I mentioned above & it also has How to guides for two different crafting projects how spiffy is that? they also come with coupons for her stores. Ruths Brownies Review

Besides bath goods,clothing & other random goodies what is the Number one thing which will appear in stockings & presents all over the world the Christmas? The Answer Food & candy,I recently worked with a company called Ruths Brownies on a review,For my review I received a small box of their Peanut Butter Swirl Cake Style Brownies.

I was surprised at how large the brownies were,there were six brownies in the box but it seemed like a whole dozen,The brownies were big enough my DH & I easily split just one a night for dessert & were full from it.I have never had brownies with peanut butter in them before so I was unsure how they would taste,They were pretty good but I would have to say not one of my favorites I am not sure why I didn't like them as much as I thought I would,I would have them again but they wouldn't be my first choice to buy,I would buy one of Ruth's Brownies chocolate brownies as my first choice.My DH loved the brownies & my daughter loved them as well it is hard to keep my daughter stationary in one spot for long even if she is eating a treat but when she was eating her part of a brownie she stayed in her seat until the entire thing was done.I think their brownies would make a great gift for brownie or chocolate lovers,there are a ton of different flavors to choose from on their website so they have something for everyone,Their customer service is friendly & their shipping is fast.****This was not a paid post and my honest opinion was used. Can I just say 'WOW best toffee I have ever had' & have that be my review? That statement is quite true I was excited when my package arrived because if anyone really knows me they will know that I love almonds & cashews so I was more than happy to accept this review.This toffee breaks easily so that you can have small portions at a time,just by the texture you can tell it will be delicious,I honestly can't describe how good this toffee was it was mouth watering,melted like chocolate & has yummy almonds it was more than I could have imagined.It didn't stick to my teeth at all & tasted yummy my DH liked it as well which was a surprise because he doesn't normally like sweets like that,Surprisingly we actually made this box last more than a week in our house even with visitors.Besides Toffee Enstrom also sells other goodies feel free to check out their site.****This was not a paid post and my honest opinion was used. The second shop I would like to present you with today is called OrlyDesigns Who makes Bird Sculptures & Ceramic wedding cake toppers,For my review I received Two birds sitting on a stone one of the birds is red & the other is blue,When this arrived at my house I was unsure what it was because of the packing it wasn't something I expected it was a rather cute gift box.Inside the sculpture was wrapped quite nicely though I think one of the birds did break off but it was an easy fix once I realized that it was in fact supposed to be attached to the stone itself.The birds are adorable & a great size the birds are small enough to fit into the palm of your hand.The birds are smooth & glossy the tail & beak is sculpted into a point but the tips are rounded off so they wont hurt if you touch them.I have enjoyed working with this seller.

For my review I received A 8" LARGE YOOHOO 70s LOVE,It is so adorable it plays a kiss sound when you squeeze it's belly! BUT there are many things that these descriptions don't tell you about these adorable products so I will list them here for you now.The Kangaroo Safety Nail Scissors Has a protective case shaped like a Mother kangaroo with a small pouch which has a baby in it,but if you were just looking at it in a package you might not be able to tell that the baby kangaroo inside of the mothers pouch is actually the Nail file which is attached with a small rubber attachment so that you do not lose the nail file.The Monkey First Aid Safety Scissors has a protective cover that locks onto the scissors when not in use so that little hands can not open them if they manage to get a hold of them.The Duck Safety Nail Clipper & File is an adorable little duck the Nail file is on the bottom of the duck & the clippers are inside of the ducks mouth you simply remove the bill to reveal the clippers.The Alligator Gentle Grooming is the perfect size to hold in adult hands & toddler hands who know how to brush their own hair.I think all of the products are super cute & helpful when it comes to toddler grooming I would buy this product lines for Christmas gits & baby shower gifts they are friendly for both genders they also offer a Giraffe shaped hair shears,A Hippio gently grooming baby brush & two other nail clippers/file combos shaped like a Penguin & the other is a Dolphin.I really enjoy working with this company their shipping is always fast & customer service is friendly.****This was not a paid post and my honest opinion was used. For my review I received Carmen in her BFF outfit seen above,The monkey is the perfect size for little hands,the outfit is adorable,she is soft,cuddly & adorable,Their shipping is very fast & they package everything well so that it doesn't get tossed around a lot.I really enjoy working with Aurora their toys are very well made,Child friendly,Safe & I haven't had any problems with any of their stuffed animals I have even had to wash one of them & it came out of the wash/dryer perfectly safe & looking brand new. So when I am not home or a package is too larger to fit into my mail box the UPS/Fedex/Mail man drop off packages at the small Market inside my Apartment complex normally I get a notice on my door or in my mail box I have been up there a Dozen times within the last month Today while up there they just Now decided to tell me I had two packages there from early September,Needless to say I was kind of mad that they didn't bother to tell me one of the other dozen times I was up there getting my other packages.

For my review my daughter received a Small Purple kitten in a pink sparkly carrying bag that says 'I Love you' on the side & has a small rainbow heart tag.My daughter loves kittens so she went nuts when I gave her this kitten it has been one of her favorite stuffed animals she typically carries it with her on a day to day basis.I like the fact that the bag can not only be used to carry the animal that comes with it but as a mini purse since it is a really decent size.All the materials feel soft I can't find any parts where there is plastic to poke little hands,The Fancy Pals™ are great for playing pretend or just for stuffed animal lovers,they sell a variety of animals & bag combos for only $12 each I think they are a fantastic deal plus how much more adorable can these little guys get? It's time for me to share another very loved Etsy shop with you! I recently had the chance to work with a store called ShopSakura who sells Clay Molds & Polymer Clay Canes.You may or may not know what I am talking about many etsy sellers will know right away.

For my Review I received a Lady skeleton cameo cab Mold,Puffy Star Mold,Lollipop with bow Mold,Teeny Bird Mold, Flower Flexible Mold,Dahlia flower flexible mold,Cherry Mold & Polymer clay Canes .I was very excited to get my package I have never tried to use clay before or clay molds let along polymer clay canes so needless to say I was ecstatic when my package arrived.I have only had an issue with one of the molds the Dahlia flower flexible mold ,will not let me pop up the flowers correctly without ruining the piece no matter how long I let the clay dry for [I use Air Drying Clay].Other than that all the molds have worked out great,I used a few of the mold pieces I made for a few items I have listed in my Etsy store if you want to see the end results.You can use the clay pieces made with the molds for Jewelry,Hair accessories,Doll Houses,Nails,Scrap booking,& More.ShopSakura has some of the best mold prices I have seen on etsy a lot of sellers over charge for the molds.The Polymer Clay canes are easy to cut you can get a large amount of slices off each cane depending on how thin you cut,I have only tried one project with the slices which I am still waiting for it to dry [The diamond glaze is giving me drying issues it has been drying for a week & still isn't done,this isn't the sellers fault it is mine for using it in such a small space without much breathing room.] I even love just looking through the ShopSakura there are so many cute things to look at.This is a highly suggested store if you are a craft maker or want to start making crafts this is a great place to start the Molds are fun & easy to use they take less than a minute to use & make if you use the right kind of clay they will dry fast it is fun to come up with new color combos for each item & coming up with new ideas for uses of the molds is exciting,****This was not a paid post and my honest opinion was used. The second Etsy shop I would like to present you with is called Just Josie who sells lots of adorable Headbands.For my Review I received a Elle- Red Velvet Cake (Fabric Flower Headband),& Josie- Pretty in Pink (Headband).The Red Velvet was sent in an Adult size for me & the Pretty in Pink was sent in a toddler size for my daughter.I was excited to get the package Just Josie sent open because I didn't know which Headband or Headbands she would be sending me.I was very happy with the results,The red of the Red Velvet Cake is a perfect mix between a Bright vibrant red & a Dull Pastel red,I must admit I am not a Huge Large Floral Hair Accessories kind of girl sure they look good on others but I think I look plain goofy with them,I do enjoy the size of the Red Velvet Cake flower & the headband itself is comfortable though I don't see myself wearing it much I wouldn't be sure what hair style to do while wearing it but my daughter looks absolutely darling with the head band on so I love it all the same.The pretty in pink is a much smaller daintier flower which also looks fabulous on my daughter & has great coloring as well.I enjoy the fact that the fabric flower doesn't sit directly on your head there is a small black fabric circle attached to each one to make the headband comfortable for you to wear.I give this Etsy shop an A+ in my book the owner is very friendly & easy to work with.****This was not a paid post and my honest opinion was used. I recently had the chance to work with Two wonderful Etsy shops on a Review & Giveaway which I will be writing about both tonight [Separate posts of course] The first etsy store I would like to share with you is called 'The Head Said' who sells crochet character hats.For my review I received the Adult size unique handmade black winter hat with mouse ears, ear flaps and ties seen above.The hat arrived very fast & was professionally packaged.I like the feel & texture of the hat because it is soft,I mention this because some crochet Items I have received & have seen others wear feel like shoe laces which to me isn't a pleasant feel.The hat fits great the only thing I could personally post that I wish was a little different is that the ears were not so large so I wear them half down half standing up,Other than that everything is perfect the ear flaps will be great for winter because my ears give me problems if they get too cold so this hat is a perfect solution.There is also plenty of braid to use to tie the flaps together if it is windy out.I really like a lot of the Character hats sold in the Head Said shop there are tons to choose from,I spent an hour trying to decide which hat I wanted to try out.I have really enjoyed working with The Head Said & I am happy to be able to share this shop with you along with a fun giveaway which I know you all will love & its just in time for Fall & Winter since snow season is almost here.****This was not a paid post and my honest opinion was used. For my review I received a 8" Milly Wanna Be Princess [Seen Above] & a 8" Pink Kitty With Strawberry Carrier.I couldn't believe how cute these Kittens where when I opened the box the came in I originally wanted to save the kitties for Christmas or my daughters birthday which is right after Christmas but these kittens were just too cute not to give them to her right away,My daughter loves cats so she automatically started hugging the Milly Kitties.Her favorite is the Wanna Be Princess Kitty,mine is a Tie because the Pink kitty with Strawberry Carrier is so tiny you want to carry it around with you all day it also smells like Strawberries Yummy! I plan on buying my daughter the Birthday Milly kitty for her birthday,I also love a number of the other products Aurora has which includes YooHoo toys which I am sure many of you have seen in stores they are the adorable stuffed animals with Giant eyes.I am a sucker for big eyed stuffed animals or anything tiny such as the cupcake Milly Kitty.I enjoy how much fun my daughter has playing with these stuffed animals it helps her keep calm at places like the doctors office,Shopping,Ect they fit perfectly into the diaper bag.****This was not a paid post and my honest opinion was used.
