The Mighty Mug Giveaway & Review!

I do a lot on the computer both at home and at work so I usually have my drink sitting on my desk while I work, sometimes it gets knocked over and spills or simply drops onto the floor if it is in a spill proof container. I recently received a Mighty Mug for a review and now I don't have to worry about spills or my cup getting knocked off of my desk. Developed by a team of industrial designers and mechanical engineers, Mighty Mug, is the world's only Mug that grips to your desk when knocked into, but lifts naturally.





Before I received a mug for review I watched a video showing what The Mighty Mug could do, and I admit I was impressed but I was also skeptical about how well this would work. How can a mug set down on the table not be knocked over when hit but picked up like a regular cup without any hesitation? The Mighty Mug has a Smartgrip base which is shown above in the fourth photo (orange circle), when placed directly down onto the table this grips onto the table keeping the cup into place. Keep in mind the surface needs to be flat as with any suction cup base/item, I placed my Mighty Mug on my kitchen table and gave it a whack. The mug stayed in place was it gave me a jolt of excitement not seeing it fall over when hit with my hand, I even made my fiance come into the kitchen to have a look while I used my hand to try and knock over the mud. Knowing that some cups end up falling off the table because the table is moved I shook the kitchen table a bunch to see if that would make the mug fall and it still stayed in place, but lifted up without any issue when you pick it straight up off the table. The Might Mug is easy to clean, and works just as described my fiance will be taking this to work with him to the construction sites he works at.

I love subscription boxes because every month it is like opening a Christmas present. I was recently introduced to a sweet little makeup subscription box called BoxyCharm that has already has me quite impressed. I received the August BoxyCharm box and I loved everything that was included in it, generally with subscription boxes there is at least one to two thing that are 'Meh' or that I could do without so I was happy to get a box that had me 100% satisfied.





Before I tell you what was in the August box let me start by telling you that this subscription box costs $21 per month and comes with four to five full sized products. I was excited to see the small black box in my mail box marked 'BoxyCharm" because I couldn't wait to see what was in the box, once I opened the box I was greeted by an adorable post card and a assortment of products. The box came with the following products: Coastal Scents Revealed 3 Palette (Retail $39.95), MicaBeauty Gel Eyeliner (Retail $35), Nios Shield Leave-in Conditioner (Retail $26), So Susan Statement Skin (Retail $20) and a Seta Eyeliner Brush (Retail $16) for a total retail of $136.95 all of that came inside of a subscription box that only cost $21 a month, I think that is a steal!

I personally love the Coastal Scents Revealed 3 Palette it is a great set of shades to do smokey eyes with which is my go to work look, the So Susan statement skin works like a highlighter and it has a very warm sun kissed look to it. The Gel eyeliner goes on smoothly and is long lasting, the brush is a perfect match for it and the Leave-in conditioner is also a sun blocker which I think is wonderful. I am over all very happy with this subscription box and put it at the top of my favorite subscriptions list. Zotos Professional 180pro Review!

I used to dye my hair often and frequently which lead to my hair losing a lot of its natural shine and strength that it had before. Once I stopped dyeing it I started trying to find a good shampoo and conditioner that worked to help soften my hair and I've finally found a product that I am going to keep and toss the rest! I was sent a number of products from the 180pro product series my Zotos Professionals.






The 180pro series offers a number of products including Smooth + Soft Recovery, Intense Reconstruction, Moisture Repair, Treatments and Styling products. I received at least two products from each section of the line which can be viewed above, each section has its own bottle color. The first thing I've tried is the Smooth + Soft Recovery Discovery Kit which is featured in the round packaging above with three small bottles inside, this kit includes 180PRO Smooth + Soft Recovery Shampoo and Conditioner along with a Miracle Repair Damage Eliminator™ Leave-In Treatment.

So far I love the product and my hair does feel softer, I've notice it also helps De-tangle my hair more then the shampoo + conditioner I was using before, my brush glides right through my hair after washing it. All three of the products smell lovely, and they really do seem to replenish your hair you can almost feel your hair absorbing the product into it and letting it repair it. The three bottles included in the discovery kit are a lot smaller than their full sized versions but so far I've already used each five times and there is still plenty of product left in the bottle. I have medium length hair that goes down slightly below my collar bone, if you have longer hair you may use a little more product so it might not last as long however a little bit of the product goes a long ways. On that same note I will include that I haven't been able to test out the rest of the 180pro products since the first set I am using is lasting a little while but I will keep you updated on how the other products work as well so keep your eyes out for the updates! If you dye your hair or simply want softer hair and want to repair the damage from flat irons and curlers I suggest looking into these products which are all very affordable and run for under $10 each. World Kitchen Review!

To me cooking not only requires great ingredients but good tools that are dependable and work well. Finding the tools that work best for you can sometimes be a bummer because of the price tag, but World Kitchen has you covered by offering wonderful cooking tools at affordable prices.

 

 I recently received a small package which contained a Silicone Whisk, Medium Spatula and a Silicone spatula to try out. The whisk is pretty handy to have not only because some dishes taste better when whisked vs beaten with a fork, but because when it is time to be washed it can be washed easier then a metal spatula. If you apply a little pressure to the whisk it will smoosh essentially allowing all the food to slide right out and you don't have to worry about getting a sponge in there to get something you missed. Since it bends a bit it also helps you reach more places in your mixing bowl that a traditional whisk may have missed. The Silicone spatula is made from the same materials and it really helps you reach every inch of the bowl or dish you are mixing and pouring into the baking pan. I enjoyed all three products sent to me and look forward to using them more often!
