AOS Designs Review!

****This was not a paid post and my honest opinion was used. The opinions are solely my own and may vary from others. The products mentioned below have been provided by AOS Designs for the review free of charge.****

Halloween is almost upon us, everyone is looking for what they want to dress as this year but is a costume really complete without accessories? Part of what makes a costume pop is the makeup and jewelry that goes along with it for example if your going as Maleficent why not wear a gorgeous ring inspired by her? I recently found a magical etsy shop called AOS Designs who sells Disney Villain & Princess Jewelry along with Pick A Pearl Cages.

I was immediately drawn to the Maleficent ring which is shown in the first photo above, it is absolutely gorgeous and suits her personality perfectly. Along with the Maleficent ring there are dozens of cute jewelry items such as the Rapunzel silver tiara princess ring, and all the Disney charms for the loose charm lockets. I was sent the four items above for my products review, the products arrived extremely fast and were well labeled and packaged. The items are the Maleficent ring, Maleficent movie cameo necklace, Alice in Wonderland flower ring and the Sleeping Beauty tiara ring. I do wish I would have provided my ring size before the items were sent as the rings only fit my pinky so when you order don't forget to include your ring size!

The jewelry is well made and sturdy you won't have to worry about these breaking if your hand happens to bump into something hard. The jewelry has small details that help complete the piece for example the flower ring has dots on the petals and small eyes to make the flower look just like the flowers in the movie. All of their jewelry ranges from $6 to $30 plus shipping and they ship world wide. Customer service was fast and friendly, if you are looking for something specific that is related to Disney I am sure they would be happy to help you find it. I think this store has tons of great items for the Disney lover in your life!

Starlight Wraps Review & Giveaway!

****This was not a paid post and my honest opinion was used. The opinions are solely my own and may vary from others. The products mentioned below have been provided by Starlight Wraps for the review & giveaway free of charge.****

I generally don't wear a lot of jewelry I am very selective in what I will wear, but I've been wanting a bracelet for a while something that isn't too large, doesn't make noise and isn't going to catch on my clothing. While on my hunt for a new bracelet I found a company called Starlight Wraps who sells wrap bracelets in an assortment of colors. The company owner Rexann was kind enough to provide a little background on how her company came to be: " She is also the owner of a small clothing boutique in Estes Park, Colorado and in September of 2013 they were hit by a devastating flood and were virtually closed for almost 3 months.  She had always enjoyed jewelry design as a hobby prior, but with some extra time on her hands while the roads were being repaired in her city, she decided to create Starlight Wraps.  It has been a wonderful whirlwind for her since the beginning and she is so excited about the future of Starlight Wraps and hopes it continues to grow! Each piece in her collection is designed and handmade with great attention to detail.  Starlight Wraps is also dedicated to supporting various children's charities around the world by donating 20% of her net proceeds each year. They believe in striving to make a difference in the lives of children everywhere."

For my review I received a Stella wrap which is a gorgeous 3 Wrap Bracelet with black iridescent and dark purple beading. If you are indoors the purple beads appear more black but once you are out in the sunlight they shine a deep purple which looks quite beautiful. My bracelet arrived quickly and was sent in a cute draw string back which I will keep for future gifting. The bracelet seems like it could weight a bit however it feels almost weight less I sometimes forget I am wearing it, I typically don't sleep with it on because I don't want to risk it becoming lost in my sheets if it were to come off. Breakage wise I don't think it is likely it will break unless someone where to take a pair of scissors or a knife to your bracelet, My one and a half year old was trying his best to try and get the bracelet off my wrist and it didn't budge. It is easy to put on and take off with just one hand so you won't need anyone to assist you and it has three different lengths you can adjust it to depending on how tight you would like to wear it, I wear mine on the second loop. I have enjoyed working with Starlight Wraps and think you should head over to check out all of the beautiful wraps she has to offer.

Prize Alert:
One lucky winner will win the 5 wrap Cassiopeia, the retail value is $35 shown in the last image above.

Flytes of Fancy Review & Giveaway!

****This was not a paid post and my honest opinion was used. The opinions are solely my own and may vary from others. The products mentioned below have been provided by Flytes of Fancy for the review & giveaway free of charge.****

Who says pets can't celebrate the holiday too? There are a number of ways you can have your pet celebrate the holiday with you, one of those is Costumes! I recently found a very nice set of bat wings from a etsy shop called Flytes of Fancy.

The wings arrived in a very timely manner, Depending on where you live I would say the latest to order would probably be six days before Halloween to get them to you on time. The wings are well made they are padded to allow the maximum comfort to your dog or cat. I tried these wings on both my cat and my dog, my cat was a little timid and didn't know what to think but the wings stayed on even when he was running around the living room trying to get them off. My dog didn't mind them being on and was more calm about it, although I couldn't for the life of me get a non blurry photo of him in the wings even with treats as a bribe.

The wings have a string which is similar to a shoe lace that runs through it, you put the neck loop around your dog (or cat) and then tie the string under their belly to keep it in place. The day I received the wings my toddler decided to take the string out, I couldn't figure out how to get it back in so I messaged the shop owner who replied quickly and helped me string it back through. I enjoyed working with Flytes of Fancy they had fast shipping, friendly and helpful customer service and high quality products for your pets. All costumes and costume pieces range from $11 to $25 plus shipping. Want to see what else they have to offer? Head over to their etsy shop to see what they have.

Prize Alert:
One lucky winner will receive a set of Bat Wings in a size appropriate for their pet.

Simona Candini Art Review & Giveaway!

****This was not a paid post and my honest opinion was used. The opinions are solely my own and may vary from others. The products mentioned below have been provided by Simona Candini Art for the review & giveaway free of charge.****

Halloween is just around the corner which means it is time to start decorating the outside of my house, as for the inside it is filled with dragons, gargoyles and other assorted items so everyday is a little like Halloween for us. Every year I look for fun new additions to add to our walls or Halloween decor and I wanted to share a etsy shop called Simona Candini Art who sells prints of hand drawn images that are a little spooky and some could even say inspired by Halloween. All of her prints have a slightly darker feel to them but are still quite adorable and would make great conversation pieces to hang in your home. I received the three prints shown below to review here on my blog and I will be giving one lucky winner a print!

The prints in order are called "Rapunzel", "Kiss Me" and "The Secret Garden" each print comes dated and signed by the Artist and only 50 prints are sold of each image so you will also find a #/50 located on the bottom of the print letting you know it is limited edition. Each print is vibrant with color and the work is flawless I find each image captivating in it's own way, and I do have to say that I noticed some of the images of the prints found in her shop don't do justice to how vibrant the photos are in person. Every piece of her art work is extremely detailed you could sit and look at it and see each strand of hair, every piece of grass and every shadow that matches perfectly with the imaged it is a shadow of. My favorite of the three I received is the Secret Garden print, I can't quite put a finger on why it stands out to me the most but I absolutely adore it and it is so unique I know it will be a wonderful conversation starter. I have to admit I felt a little silly, at first I thought the Rose vines were just a plant the little girl was sitting on then I realized they were the lower half of the girl in the chair which made this image even more captivating. The prints shipped all the way from Italy to Arizona in less than two weeks which is extremely impressive considering most international packages take anywhere from 3-10 weeks to receive depending on customs and how it was shipped.

The prints have a small white edge to make them easier to matte and frame, but you are also able to request that be removed so it fits a standard 8"x10" frame which may be a better option for some. Each print ranges from $30-$35 which is a wonderful price for unique and limited edition art work, I've seen my fair share of prices on various works on art that are mass produced and have to say I rather spend my $35 on a print from Simona Candini Art than on something you can buy from the store. Customer service is fast and friendly, if you have any questions or even a custom request I am sure the store owner and artist would be more than happy to help you out.

Prize Alert:
One lucky blog winner is going to win the Rapunzel print shown above! This giveaway is open World Wide.

Craig Michael Scott Art & Design Review and Giveaway!

****This was not a paid post and my honest opinion was used. The opinions are solely my own and may vary from others. The products mentioned below have been provided by Craig Michael Scott Art & Design for the review &giveaway free of charge.****

I grew up being a huge fan of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, I remember having a TMNT sleeping bag and square juice box cover at my grandmothers house for when I went to visit. I was excited when TMNT started making a come back and now my kids love those four tubular turtles. My son is a year and a half old, TMNT was one of the first shows he really connected with and "Turtles" was one of his first words, seeing how much he loves those four crazy turtles I wanted to find some art for his blank bedroom walls that reflect his likes. On my journey looking for bedroom art I came upon a etsy shop called Craig Michael Scott Art & Design. There were so many charming and sweet prints I didn't know where to start I want a dozen of the prints but the question is which do you buy first? After speaking with the store owner I received the chance to host a review and giveaway of his PreTMNT Inspired prints which feature all four turtles as toddlers doing various things such as eating pizza.

From the moment your prints arrive on your door you can tell that wonderful customer service, thoughtfulness and care were put into getting your package together. The prints arrive in a cute envelope with the stores logo picture, a business card and a note. For my review I received a set of  5" x 7" cards four features each Turtle on their own card and the last had all of them eating pizza together, I also received a set of TMNT inspired ACEO 3.5" x 2.5" Print to giveaway to a lucky reader. The prints were in a protective sleeve with a paper diving the cards from the cover card so they wouldn't stick and the smaller prints arrived in card sleeves to keep them protected. Each print is hand drawn by Craig Michael Scott and each print will make your heart melt, I absolutely love that he decided to make them more of a toddler/kid TMNT inspired art rather than keeping them as adults. The colors were vibrant, crisp and flows nicely through each print. I like the paper choice that was made when printing these out they are slightly more sturdy than regular photo paper.

The larger prints are $10 and the smaller prints are $4-$6 each a price that I would pay a hundred times over for this fantastic art work. If you are looking for a fun and unique gift for a birthday or Christmas gift this is the place to stop! He offers dozens of designs ranging from Star Wars to Superhero's a few of my favorites are shown above.

PRIZE ALERT:
One lucky winner is going to receive a set of FOUR TMNT inspired ACEO 3.5" x 2.5" Prints shown in the first group of pictures. A $16 value!

Amy's Not Dead Yet Review!

****This was not a paid post and my honest opinion was used. The opinions are solely my own and may vary from others. The products mentioned below have been provided by Amy's Not Dead Yet for the review free of charge.****

I am always on the hunt for unique products that fit with my style, likes and likes of those I know. Many of those likes include popular shows such as Supernatural, Once Upon A Time, ect and I love being able to share them here with you! A huge fan hit is Doctor Who and I've found a great little etsy shop called 'Amy's Not Dead Yet' and she sells Cards & Art for the geeky fan. I was recently sent a few samples of her work which included a Note card, A sheet from her Cthulhu coloring book, two Doctor Who Christmas tags and a few book marks. All of which can be seen below:

The samples arrived in a very timely manner and were well packaged. I highly enjoy the type of paper that was used to make each of the products, it is sturdy yet bendable at the same time allowing a little wiggle room when shipping in the mail. Each print was full of color and well drawn, I was attracted to the shop because of how kawaii and adorable the characters were on each piece of her art work. Cards are $6 each, If you were shopping for cards you might think this is a little high, but in reality it isn't. If you think about it cards at the store rang from $2.95-$10.95 sometimes more for a card that is massed produced and has been given to hundreds of others with the cards from Amy's Not Dead Yet they are hand done in water colors and are quite unique. I personally think the price is one hundred percent worth it for the craftmans ship alone.

So if you have a Doctor Who, Sherlock, Cthulhu, Hobbit or other similar geek show lovers head over to see what you can find for them or even for yourself! The products are exceptionally made, shipping is fast and customer service is fantastic plus the prices are great so you can't go wrong with this etsy shop! Can't find something you're looking for? Feel free to message the shop owner I am sure she would be happy to work on something for you.

Boxed Review & Giveaway!

****This was not a paid post and my honest opinion was used. The opinions are solely my own and may vary from others. The products mentioned below have been provided by Boxed for the review free of charge.****

Do you love shopping in bulk but prefer not to pay for a yearly membership to a local wholesale retailer? I have the perfect solution for you! Boxed.com offers low priced bulk products including grocery items and beauty items. Up until a week ago I didn't know Boxed.com existed and now I am sorry I didn't know about it I love their website and most of all I love their prices. I was lucky enough to receive a chance to participate in a review and host a contest (will be posted soon) for Boxed.com taking a look at the products below how much would you guess the total was? $140 maybe $120 discounted? If you guess anything over one hundred dollars you would have been wrong for all six of the bulk products below it only came out to $88 with free two day shipping.

There are a number of products available ranging from Laundry soap, to dog food, tooth paste and even beef jerky. It was hard to decide what to get for my review there were so many wonderful products to choose from so I narrowed them down to our favorites. Looking up prices at a similar retailer and the price comes out to over $100 I can see where the better price and better place to shop is and that is Boxed who offers a Free membership and cheap prices. Did you know an average trip to a local warehouseclub takes over 180 minutes? Boxed gives you back 179 of them. I felt more comfortable and happy shopping from home instead of going to a big warehouse full of people to look for what I am in need of. I placed my order on Monday September 8th and received it on Wednesday September 10th, Now keep in mind I live closer to where these products were shipped from so your order can take slightly longer. One of the big things I noticed and thought was sweet was that a note was included with my package wishing me luck with potty training my son I ordered a Huggies Pullups Combo pack which 1.) I didn't know existed before working with this company and 2.) was an unbeatable price. Along with their already amazing prices they also have a "stuff on sale" section where you can find a large handful of products with sales prices. Customer service was fast, friendly and professional.

How would you like to win a gift card to Boxed? Leave a comment letting me know something you like about their company.
