Chewy.com Review!

**This was not a paid post. My honest opinions were used, they are solely my own & they may vary from others. The products mentioned below have been provided by Chewy.com for the review free of charge.**

I love the huge variety of brands and products that Chewy.com offers for all types of animals, they offer over 200 brands for cats, dogs, horses, reptiles and more. Each month I am lucky enough to get offered a list of products to select from to review with my pets, this month I selected Tiki Cat After Dark Variety Pack Canned Cat Food 2.8-oz & Purina Pro Plan Savor Tender Strips with Lamb & Sweet Potato Dog Treats.

The Tiki cat variety pack comes with six different flavors of two cans each, I like that it has such a wide variety of flavors for a small box of cat food because it will help spice up your cats meal times. The cans are the perfect size for a meal for a single cat without them over eating or being too hungry in between feedings. This pack retails for $19.33 on Chewy.com

The Purina Pro Plan Savor Tender Strips are bigger than I expected them to be which as you can tell my dog Sulley Monster is pretty excited about, the bigger the treat the better. The treats are tender enough you can bend them easily but they don't break in half from it because they have a decent amount of moisture in them to prevent them from being too hard which is perfect for my mom's elderly dog that can't eat treats that are too hard. Giving the dogs these treats once a day will surely excite your dog and it will be something they look forward to. This pack retails for $7.35 on Chewy.com

Squishy Dog Mat Review!

**This was not a paid post. My honest opinions were used, they are solely my own & they may vary from others. The products mentioned below have been provided by Squishy Mats for the review free of charge.**

Squishy Mats were originally created as a soft play place for infants and toddlers but it came to the owners attention that dogs also love these soft and comfortable mats so now they are being marketed as dog mats as well and I can see why! Each mat is 3'x3' and made with a 3/4” memory foam center along with a non-slip backing to help keep the mat in place.

The Soft Minky top layer feels silky and cool to the touch, it will make you want to cuddle with it because of how soft it is. Sulley monster wasn't completely sure what to think of the mat at first when it arrived but he quickly warmed up to the mat and has been relaxing on it every time he takes a nap. I think the mat is just the right size for pooches and babies alike! I wish my mattress topper was made out of this type of cloud like material. When it arrives it does have a bit of a chemical smell due to the bad it is shipped in so I would let it air out for a few hours before letting your pet lay down on this. The 3'x3' mat sells for $69.95 on their website.

Chewy.com Review!

****This was not a paid post and my honest opinion was used. The opinions are solely my own and may vary from others. The products mentioned below have been provided by Chewy.com for the review free of charge.****

Considering that we get a box from Chewy almost monthly to review with our pooch you would think he would be used to having to take pictures by now! He is slowly coming around to having to snap a few shots before getting his treat but you can see from the look on his face below that he isn't all too happy about it. In our latest box from Chewy we receive Purina Beyond Cutlets Chicken Dog Treats & a Nutro Kitchen Classics Loaf Variety Pack wet dog food for Dogs.

Nutro Kitchen Classics Dog Food: This comes with two different flavored dog foods, they are grass fed lamb with brown rice & slow cooked chicken with rice and oatmeal. The price isn't too bad good on this set, you get six 12.5 oz cans for just $10.79 making the cans $1.80 each. The dogs looked like they enjoyed the food, they didn't leave any behind and they didn't seem overly picky about eating it. Looks wise it looks similar to other dog food brands and smelled about the same as well.

Purina Beyond Cutlets Chicken Dog Treats: I don't usually like starting reviews off with the negative of the product first but yuck! These treats stink.  I know they are meant for dogs and that they shouldn't appeal to our senses but not all dog products smell that bad but this wasn't one of them. On a more positive note each treat was pretty large and thick vs being thin and easily broken into two. The dogs loved these and couldn't get enough of them! You can see how he is giving me the stink eye in the photo above, he just wants the treat instead of taking photos. This sells for $9.49 on their website.

Gather - Petcurean Review!

****This was not a paid post and my honest opinion was used. The opinions are solely my own and may vary from others. The products mentioned below have been provided by for Petcurean the review free of charge.****

When it comes to your pets you want them to be just as healthy as you so picking out the right food is important. Petcurean has a pet food brand called Gather that is crafted from certified and organic ingredients including free-run chicken, peas and more.

I was sent a small bag of Gather cat food along with several smaller samples bags of the different dog foods they offer. Some cat and dog foods have an odd and sometimes unpleasant smell to them but this pet food actually had a pretty decent scent to it. A bit off topic but a amusing thought I had because the pet food smells fresh and almost sweet I'd say if you were in a zombie apocalypse type situation where you had nothing but pet food to eat and you had a choice between this and a competitor brand based off the smell you'd want this one.

My step-dads dog "J" has a very sensitive stomach and isn't able to eat a lot of foods or even treats without getting sick so they generally stick to one specific type of dog food but we figured we would test this out.  J loved the dog food and didn't have any negative side effects from it which was a very positive sign that the ingredients were gently on his stomach. This company has even found a way to make their bags more biodegradable by making their bags with 30% “bio-based plastic” produced from sugarcane, a sustainably-produced and renewable raw material. Gather is sold in retailers all across the US and Canada. Over all we are very satisfied with this brand.

Chewy.com Reivew!

****This was not a paid post and my honest opinion was used. The opinions are solely my own and may vary from others. The products mentioned below have been provided by Chewy.com for the review free of charge.****

When it comes to my pets I am one of those people who treat my pets like they are one of my kids, all of my pets are spoiled and loved.I am always willing to test out fun new products with my pets, especially with my newest cat Hook (the little orange cat) who is 11 months old and is either teething or was a dog in a past life because he chews on everything. Chewy.com sells a wide selection of pet products for all of your furry, feathery and scaly needs, I was recently given a list of products to select from to do a review on and I selected the Temptations Tubs Cat Treats w/ Snacky Mouse, and
Purina FortiFlore.

Right away both of my cats were curious to see what I was doing in the kitchen as soon as the heard the jingle of the cat treats in the tub. As you can see Hook was trying to help himself to some treats but could not quite fit his paw into the hole to get a treat out. The cat treats are very aromatic which is sure to get your cats attention, the tub is has a lid that seals shut when not in use to help keep the treats fresh when not being devoured. The Snacky Mouse actually came with a small bag of treats inside of the box as well, which I thought was nice. The head of the mouse twists off which allows your to add treats to the inside of the mouse, after filling it simply place it on the floor and as your cat knocks it around treats will slowly fall out of it one by one or if you have a toddler it will get shaken and treats will end up all over but that is half the fun isn't it? The Purina FortiFlore I wanted to test out because my mom's dog has a very sensitive stomach and always has digestive issues and I've heard lots of good things about probiotics for both humans and pets so I thought I would give it a shot. So far it has seemed to help he seems less agitated after meal time and doesn't seem to be having any issues with getting sick. I am very happy with both of these products and thank Chewy for carrying both these items plus hundreds more!

Pet Treater Review!

****This was not a paid post and my honest opinion was used. The opinions are solely my own and may vary from others. The products mentioned below have been provided by Pet Treater for the review free of charge.****

Subscription boxes are not only fun for humans but they can be a lot of fun for pets as well. I recently came across a fun pet subscription box called Pet Treater which sends your dog a box filled with treats every month and is custom selected based on the size of your dog. I was lucky enough to receive the chance to work with Pet Treater on a review for my pup Sulley who is almost two, I received their May box themed "Doggy De Mayo".

To start off your subscription you are asked to fill out a short survey about your dog including their name, age and breed which will help Pet Treater customized your dogs box. The next step is to select the size of your dog and which subscription plan you would like, you can receive a single months box for $34.99 or subscribe for a full twelve months which will bring your cost down to $19.99. I can not find any information on how many items per box you get but Sulley received eight products in his doggy box.

I found it to be pretty adorable that they include an envelope with my dogs name on it, inside was a letter from a Pet Treater Amigo named Brody and it included a photo of the cute little guy. Under my Pet Treater box I also found a dog bed and so can you if you order soon, for a limited time Pet Treater is giving away a free dog bed with every order using the code "PT-BED" at checkout. With each box purchased through their website Pet Treater will donate a bed, blanket or toy to a local shelter which the shelter animals will highly enjoy so not only are you treating your pup to something sweet but you are also treating another dog to something nice.

What did Sulley receive in his box? He received a festive handkerchief which looks adorable on him, I do wish that it was put on using Velcro because he moves around a lot so I had to wiggle with him to tie it onto him . A rubber pet brush was include that looks like a horse grooming brush, it works well and the hand strap is nice. He also received a Clown squeak toy, a rope toy, a dog cookie shaped like a taco and two bags of treats along with a gift for his human a cute animal pot holder. The price for this subscription box might seem a little steep for some at $24.99 per month for Auto-renew but based off of the amount of products included in this box and they fact they help out a shelter animal I think the price is right on point and well worth the purchase.

What do you think of this pet box?

Pork Chomps Review & Giveaway!

****This was not a paid post and my honest opinion was used. The opinions are solely my own and may vary from others. The products mentioned below have been provided by
Pork Chomps for the review & giveaway free of charge.****

My mother has three large dogs who all love treats and toys so we are always looking for new products that are durable and long lasting because these three go through toys like they are going out of style. I received a wonderful assortment of goodies for these three from a company called Pork Chomps, they sent us three amazing bags stuffed full of treats that suited the dogs based off the information I gave on their sizes and likes. I am posting this post a bit late and I am grateful that Pork Chomps is very understanding about it, sadly shortly after we received these products and tested them out we had to put one of the dogs down (the black one shown below) she was old and sick, so she is in a better place now but it was a hard week. Before she went she had the chance to try the yummy treats Pork Chomps sent and she loved them.

When I had spoken with Pork Chomps about a review and giveaway I provided them with some information on the dogs and was expecting just a small package of treats, boy was I wrong! They sent us three reusable bags packed full of goodies, each one had a number of treats, a ball, a Frisbee, a stuffed squeaky dog, and a shirt for the humans. What we liked best about these treats is that the chews are rawhide free, Jack the golden old man you see above has a sensitive stomach which can't handle rawhide and it will make him sick. These are made from pork skin which is easy to digest and didn't upset his stomach which was fantastic and also means we will be buying more of these treats since he isn't allowed to have a lot of the treats the other dogs have.

The large chews you seen above lasted about two to three days before they were completely gone which is pretty good since the youngest of the three can destroy toys in less than an hour given the chance. All three dogs loved these products and would really perk up if you went to give them one of these treats. I like that these treats didn't leave little pieces all over the floor to be picked up and that the treat itself is a lot softer than the tradition rawhide chews but also still sturdy and thick. They are scent free so you don't have to worry about any lingering scent on your hands or on your pooch. All of us are quite happy with these products and think you should check them out as well!

PRIZE ALERT:
Five lucky winners will each receive a prize pack for their dog. Prize will vary depending on the size of your dog.

This giveaway is open to US residents only!

Chewy Review!

****This was not a paid post and my honest opinion was used. The opinions are solely my own and may vary from others. The products mentioned below have been provided by Chewy for the review free of charge.****

For all of the Star Wars fans out there, I am sorry but no this review doesn't involve Chewbacca however it does include a photo of my fur baby! A website called Chewy sells a number of products for cats and dogs, they sell everything from treats to beds and even pet meds all at great prices.

I was recently sent a bag of Dogswell Vitality Bars for dogs in a Chicken and Veggies flavor, along with a Catit Bench Scratcher with cat nip. As you can imagine my fur babies were excited when I opened the box and they realized what was in it was for them, although my pooch wasn't too happy about having to wait a minute to eat his treat so that I could snap a photo. The dog treats had a decent smell to them, if they were sitting out on a table not in their bag you could mistake them for actual beef jerky, the dogs highly enjoyed these treats and I am sure they would love another bag of them. The Catit Bench Scratcher is lovely because it doubles as a cat bed, the only issue I had with this is that the scratcher has small holes through it because it is made from cardboard. I have no issue with it being made from cardboard because it is meant to be scratched up by your cats, what I had an issue with is that the cat nip fell directly through the scratcher and onto the floor there was nothing to catch the nip and it ended up making a mess on my floor. Otherwise I am very happy with the product and as you can see from above my cat enjoys it as well. The Dogswell treats can be purchased for $12.74 and the Caitit Bench Scratcher can be bought for $7.99 on the Chewy website, head over and see what other meowsome products they have to offer your pets.

Reggie Box Review & Giveaway!

****This was not a paid post and my honest opinion was used. The opinions are solely my own and may vary from others. The products mentioned below have been provided by Reggie Box for the review & giveaway free of charge.****

To many of us pets are like family, if you grow up with them it is like having a furry little brother or sister or it is like having a little furry baby. I enjoy spoiling my pets as much as I do my children so I wanted to host a fun giveaway for all the dog owners out there (Don't worry I am working on something for the cats too!). I recently received a fun dog box from a company called Reggie Box. Reggie Box is a monthly subscription box for your dog,  They send out a monthly box that contains both treats and toys for your pooch. You can buy a month subscription for $30 a month or a 12 month subscription for $20 a month.

Before my box was shipped out I spoke with a Tammy Masau who is the Vice President of Reggie Box and she asked me a few questions about the pups who would be receiving the box to insure the right box was sent out based on the size of my pups. They offer three different boxes one for small dogs, medium dogs and Large dogs and each one has products that are suited more for each weight, for example would you want to get a small dog bone that is best for a Chihuahua if you have a Great Dane? No, so they make it easy to get something your dog will enjoy. My box arrived in a timely manner and the customer service was wonderful.

The box I received was for medium dogs, it contained three toys and three different types of treats. The dogs could tell right away there was something waiting for them in the pop and were excited for me to open it. As you can see from the photos above the dogs were very happy with their Reggie Box, two of them wanted to eat all the treats and the other wanted to hoard the toys that came in the box. All of the products included in the Reggie Box are made in the USA and are hand selected by the Reggie Box team based off the quality of the products. I am quite happy with the selection I received, the toys and dental chew were high quality which is great because the little toy thief above usually chews everything to death in a matter of days and these are still holding strong. If it were up to these three mischief  (one isn't pictured he is camera shy), they would eat all the treats in one sitting but we won't allow that so they get some here and there for being good. To be completely honest the little oatmeal ball type treat they sent would pass for people food it actually looked pretty good!

PRIZE ALERT:
One lucky winner is going to win the box pictured above for their pooch!
