Clean Air Club Review + Promo Code!

**This was not a paid post. My honest opinions were used, they are solely my own & they may vary from others. The products mentioned below have been provided by Clean Air Club for the review free of charge.**

Although changing out your air filter is important for keeping up your A/C unit and keeping the air in your home cleaner people often forget to buy new filters to replace the old one. I know filters generally aren't on my monthly shopping list because I often forget that it needs to be changed, which living in Arizona isn't good because it is very dusty here. If you are anything like me you will want to check out this innovative website called Clean Air Club. The Clean Air Club is a A/C filter website that allows you to select not only the type of filter you want but you can also set a schedule so a new filter will arrive when the old one needs to be replaced.

The Clean Air Club offers three different types of filters which providing a different amount of clean, they cost $13, $16 and $19. For my review I was sent a MERV 13 filter which is perfect for homes that have a lot of foot traffic, anyone with allergies, homes with more than one pet, for smokers and for areas that tend to get a lot of dust.Above you can see the MERV 13 sitting next to a cheap filter from the store, the MERV 13 has what looks like a thick cotton middle with wire mess surrounding it and the one on the right is very thin and completely see through. Which would you prefer to have in your A/C helping block dust from getting into your unit? Filters should be changed every 30-90 days this will not only help to keep the air in your home clean but it can also help prevent your unit from needing a repair in the future. When I received my filter is was packaged just right to keep the filter from getting damaged during shipment and it was also kept safe from the elements arriving in a plastic bag to help keep it as clean as possible for you.

So how well does the filter work? It recently stormed recently and in Arizona that means a lot of dirt and dust was kicked up into the air and plus taking the old filter out I knocked around a bit of dust that was starting to collect in the vent so the new filter has done an excellent job catching everything so far. This is the filter after a week:

Gross I know! But I would rather see it sitting in my filter than know it is floating around in the air my family is breathing. So when was the last time You replaced your homes filter? The Clean Air Club is allowing me to give all of you a pretty spectacular offer, you can use code 'CLEAR AIR' at checkout to receive your first month of filters free (limit 3 per household). They are currently only US based.

UpCart Review!

**This was not a paid post. My honest opinions were used, they are solely my own & they may vary from others. The products mentioned below have been provided by UpCart for the review free of charge.**

Moving can be quite a pain in the butt if you are having to move everything by hand, and that goes double for if you are having to move into or out of an apartment higher than the first floor using only stairs. Most moving trucks come with a standard furniture dolly but as we all know they can get in the way and due to their size isn't always the best option for use. I recently saw an infomercial for a product called the UpCart and it looked pretty neat so I figured why not try it out. I was sent the "UpCart Original" to try out for a review.

The UpCart is an all-terrain stair climber that can hold up to 200lbs, it is specially designed to fold up for easy storage and the way the wheels are designed it makes going up and down the stairs a breeze.I like that the wheels and even the handle break down to make this smaller so you can store it in your car, closet, etc without it taking up much room and it doesn't weight a ton either so you can carry it one handed without any issues. I found this extremely easy to unfold and fold back up when I needed to use it, even if you aren't carrying something heavy this would be perfect for moving multiple boxes at once. You can even use it to bring those big water cooler jugs into the house instead of carrying them all the way. The wheels are spaced out evenly enough I don't see any rocks or small objects getting caught in them and they don't seem to pick up a lot of dirt/hair either when rolling around on the ground. The UpCart Original retails for $89.95 and they sell other upgrades along with accessions like baskets to make your cart even better. This one little cart is going to make moving and other activities so much easier, we can't wait to use it more often! I plan to use it to bring all the Christmas decorations into the house once the holiday gets closer since I have several boxes of lights and ornaments this will make bringing them all into the house one trip instead of five like it normally takes.

Hang-O-Matic Giveaway & Review!

****This was not a paid post and my honest opinion was used. The opinions are solely my own and may vary from others. The products mentioned below have been provided by Hang-O-Matic for the review & giveaway free of charge.****

We have dozens of picture frames, pieces of art and shelves scattered all through out our house and one of the number one things they had in common was that most were slightly uneven after being hung up. Let's face it sometimes hanging up shelves and picture frames can be a pain if you are just eyeing everything as you go and you might need to fix it once or twice before it is perfect. I recently came across a nifty and helpful tool called the Hang-O-Matic which is a measuring tape, level, and hole marker all in one portable tool.

The design of this kind of reminds me of a fishing pole, my kids got a real kick out of seeing this out of the box. This tool lets you take three easy steps to having your photo frames aligned perfectly every time. The first step is to align the two black marker bars up with where the nails need to go to hang the frame, Second you will place this against your wall making sure the level is even and gently push it into the wall which will leave behind two small holes where you need to place the nails. The third step is hammering the nails into the wall and hanging the photo. I think this is pretty handy to have around the house and I am glad I found it, I love that it will help me make sure my photos all look the best that they can and I like how portable the Hang-O-Matic is because I can take it with me if the need ever arises. This sells for $14.99 and can be purchased on their website or at a number of retailers check their website for a full list of where to purchase a Hang-O-Matic.

PRIZE ALERT:
One of my readers is going to receive their own Hang-O-Matic to use in their home.
