Wishery Ear Makers Giveaway & Review!

****This was not a paid post and my honest opinion was used. The opinions are solely my own and may vary from others. The products mentioned below have been provided by Wishery Ear Makers for the review & giveaway free of charge.****
As a special family gift my mom and step-dad put together a weekend trip to Disneyland which we will be going on in two weeks! I am so excited because it will be just as much fun for us adults as it will be for the kids (the kids have no clue we are going, and won't know until we get there). I knew I wanted to get mouse ears for both of the kids and myself because it is fun and helps you get into the Disney spirit, but I didn't want to buy ears at Disneyland I wanted something that not everyone else there will be wearing. After a bit of poking around finding some mouse ears that just didn't look that appealing I found Wishery Ear Makers who offers a number of adorable and affordable headband mouse ears.

I really like these ears for a few reasons, the first being that they are headbands and not full cap sized hats that sit on your head. During the hotter months this will help keep you cooler, they are easier to get on and for me I like the headbands feel on my head vs the hat. I also love that you can use any type of fabric you want on these ears so the possibilities are endless, if you wanted I am sure you could even get a pair of Dr. Who ears to show your love for Dr. Who and Disney! For my review I received a pair of Stitch ears and a pair of BB-8 Ears which are featured on this post. The BB-8 ears are for my daughter who loves BB-8, she enjoys running around the house dresses as Rey and playing with her little BB-8 so these ears are perfect for her and the Stitch ears are for myself because he is one of my favorite Disney characters. The Wishery Ear Makers offer a wide range of mouse ears, hair bows and pin boards featuring lots of different fabric options all at affordable prices.

The ears arrived quickly and were cushioned by tissue paper to keep them safe during shipping, Charlotte the store owner also included a cute hand written thank you note which I think is a nice touch. The original Stitch ears I spoke with the store owner about had a shinny sequin bow like the one shown on the Ariel headband but in blue, I asked her if we were able to change it to a non-sequin bow and she was more than happy to adjust it which I thought was wonderful. The headbands are pretty sturdy along with the ears which have cardboard pieces inside to keep the ears firm and standing tall. On either side of the cardboard piece you will find stuffing which gives the ears their shape and it is all covered in bright and bold fabrics that are eye catching and really capture the subject matter. In-between the ears Charlotte includes a bow that goes along with the colors of the headband, and there is a piece of felt on the inside of the band to keep your head comfortable. The band is just the right size for kids or adults, I think these fit very comfortably. While wearing these I've shaken my head around and I've waved them around a bit with my hand to see if the ears move at all and they stay in place quite nicely and over all seem like they will be long lasting. The headbands are light weight and I don't find them to be overly large which is a plus.
