It is always a bummer to realize that in the rush of things you forgot to shave a big patch of hair on your leg, or you realize you forgot to pack shaving cream for the trip you are on. A brand called Busy-Beauty has designed a showerless shave-gel for the busy gal on the go! They sell 3.4flz bottles at $9.97 each and the brand packaging is quite delightful with it's retro inspired appearance.
This bottle is the perfect size to add into my To-go bag along with a travel sized razor. It is a clear thick gel that comes out in pumps, to use you simply need to apply some of the gel to your skin, shave and then rub in the extra gel as a post shave moisturizer. One pump of the gel will cover a decent amount of skin, I'd say it would cover a 4"x4" patch.
The gel has a light mint smell to it which almost reminds me of toothpaste but not in an unpleasant way. The bottle says "Hair will collect in the back of razor for disposal when you're ready" I can see two small issues with this though. 1.) Depending on the size of razor you use it might not have a large backing where hair can collect, if you buy one of those cheap two blade razors there isn't anywhere for the hair to go aside from back onto your legs. 2.) If you are extra hairy again you might run into issues with your razor actually catching the hairs which could lead to needing water or a wipe to rinse off the excess hair. I tested this on a patch of my arm using the razor you see above, for me it worked wonderfully and it left the skin feeling smooth and refreshed.
This product is paraben free, cruelty free, vegan, has natural essential oils, is good for sensitive skin and it comes in a TSA approved size. I am personally unsure if I will be bringing this with me on my travels as I don't travel often but I love how moisturized my skin feels after using this so I may include this as a regular product during my shaving routine as a post shave product because it smells good and feels great.

OnandOff Giveaway & Review!
****This was not a paid post and my honest opinion was used. The opinions are solely my own and may vary from others. The products mentioned below have been provided by OnanOff for the review & giveaway free of charge.****
We love spending time together as a family, even if we are wanting to do different things we like being in the same room together. Sometimes this can get pretty noisy so I've been looking into headphones for kids which is when I came upon Onanoff who sells a headphone line for kids called Buddyphones. I was sent the inflight model which includes three modes: Safe flight mode, safe kid mode and safe toddler mode.

My four year old son was slightly bummed the set we received was purple as he was hoping for a green or blue pair but he said he isn't picky and doesn't mind using them anyways. He is such a cute kid! The ear piece has a cushion lining which helps protect your child's ears from being rubbed raw due to the plastic, it also has a small piece of fabric over the speaker to further help protect their ears. On one side of the headphones you will find a knob which allows you to switch between the three settings, I find it is easiest to use my palm to gently push down on the dial to switch it. They are adjustable enough that not only do they fit my four year old perfectly but they fit on my head comfortably as well. It comes with a carry bag, decorative stickers for the side of the headphones,an airplane adapter plus a buddy cable that allows you to dock a second set of headphones to the first so more than one child can listen to the device at the same time. We also received a hard shell case to keep the headphones stored in when not in use.

Let's talk volume, while we want to be able to cut back on some noise from tablets, dvd players, etc we also don't want to harm our kids ear drums so I tested these out first to see how they are. I tested these out by plugging them into my cell phone and turning on some music at full volume, the headphones themselves prevent anything from being too loud even if you try turning up your device as far as it will go the headphones will only go up to a certain volume. The volume is the perfect amount, you are still able to enjoy what ever it is you are listening too but it also allows you to hear when someone is talking to you. This is quite handy because we all know how sucked into the screen kids can get so you still want to be able to get their attention without shouting at them. The toddler setting lowers it a bit further but your device is still audible without causing harm and the inflight mode tunes it just slightly higher than the child setting. According to their website researchers who study hearing loss have found that a person who is exposed to noise levels above 85 decibels for a prolonged period of time is at risk for hearing loss. Many devices go up quite a bit more than that so the headphones have a set decibel for each setting which are 75, 85 or 94db.
These headphones sell for $49.95 each, they are pretty durable and for me completely worth the price for something comfortable and safe for my child.
PRIZE ALERT:
One reader is going to win their very own set of Inflight Buddyphones.

TownleyGirl Giveaway & Review!
****This was not a paid post and my honest opinion was used. The opinions are solely my own and may vary from others. The products mentioned below have been provided by TownleyGirl for the review & giveaway free of charge.****

I have to admit that sometimes my inner child get a little jealous at all the neat and character packed products kids have now, the big things when I was younger were Barbie, Beanie Babies and Furbies. Now you can pick almost any cartoon or movie you enjoy and find products featuring the characters from the show, a big one that has become quite popular is Minions. Townleygirl has grown to become a favorite brand for my daughter, they produce a lot of fun themed beauty and bath products for girls and tweens. In this post I will be sharing some of their Despicable Me 3 products with you and I will be giving away a set of products at the end of this post. The best part? All of these products are available for less than $10 per set.

Despicable Me 3 Lip Balm Set with Banana Bag Retail Value $7.99 - This set comes with four lip balms shaped like minions, each lip balm is shaped like lipstick inside and it comes with a cute banana purse to store them in. I think the googly eyes are a cute addition to the lip balms but as you can see on the blue lip balm above they aren't entirely secured onto the tube and this one arrived with one eye coming off. I just think it needs a little stronger glue otherwise the lip balm tubes look great and I like that you can reuse the carrying bag. Each lip balm is a different flavor including blue cotton candy, purple grape, rose bubble gum and green watermelon for me they generally smell similar and taste wise will vary from person to person but generally with lip balms I usually don't notice a flavor.
Despicable Me 3 Lip Balms with Tin Retail Value $5.99 - A fun trio of lip balms with a reusable and collectable tin. The flavors include light green watermelon, purple grape and rose bubble gum again the smell/taste is the same as the above kit. I like that this set features other characters from the Despicable me cast instead of just focusing on the minions. The tin is well made and is great for carrying small items in your purse.
Despicable Me 3-2 Pack Lip Tube with Purse Retail Value $4.99 - This great set comes with two lip glosses, two hair clips and a coin purse. The lip glosses are Watermelon and grape. The lip glosses have a light smell to them that is not unpleasant, it isn't quite a watermelon or grape smell but it doesn't smell bad. I find the gloss to be a bit thick for my own liking but my daughter does not seem to mind it in the slightest and with the hot weather it is good to help keep her lips from getting dried out anyways. The clips have a soft top which helps prevent them from pulling out hair when removing the clips.

Despicable Me 3 Beautiful Nails Set Retail Value $5.99 & Despicable Me 3 Nail Polish Set Retail Value: $1.99 - This is personally my daughters favorite part of the set we received aside from the unicorn coin purse. The nails set comes with the three polishes you see above, a cuticle stick, a nail file and nail gems and the smaller set comes with two polishes. Hate the way nail polish smells? No need to worry this polish has a very light scent that isn't noticeable unless you are actually sniffing the nail brush itself but I would not recommend that. This polish is great starter set for little girls just learning to paint their nails, the polish is peelable so once your little one gets sick of the polish it comes off without the need for nail polish remover. I do have to note though it seems to peel off a little too easily, we got in the pool about two hours after we did my daughters nails and when she got out half of her nails no longer had polish on them. The gems are wonderful but hard to get on without tweezers or a gem stick so I would pick one of those up to use with the beautiful nail set.
PRIZE ALERT:
One lucky reader is going to win the same pack of prizes I received above.

Exciting news beauty prize pack!
**This is not a sponsored post, the items below have been provided by me for one of my readers.**
It feels like I've been busy as a bee lately, along with my normal daily family things and my day job I have also been working on a lot of blogging fun, planning a wedding and a honeymoon. I can't believe how close to October it is already, I am both excited for the wedding and honeymoon but also a little sad two of my most loved people won't be there. My great grandmother passed away in May and my best friend moved to another state in June, but I know they will be there in spirit so it will all be okay. A positive note is that my grandmother who broke her leg quite badly was able to come home from the rehab center she was sent to from the hospital and is doing excellent.
One of the things I have been working on recently that comes to my blog is I am working on a Wedding Guide and prize pack to giveaway here on my blog. The giveaway will include a number of things including a dress, custom invitations, a bridal sash and more! Posts for this will start in September and the wedding prize pack giveaway will begin on October 1st and it will run for a month. The posts will include the image above and will be tagged so they all appear together in a list when you click on the image. I will also be working on several Halloween related posts so keep your eye out for those as well. I have several fun reviews and giveaways in store for you soon so check back often! Speaking of giveaways I have one for you now ↓

PRIZE ALERT:
One lucky reader is going to win the makeup prize pack above! Prize pack includes Pixi silkgloss, Pixi cheek gel, Kiss nail stickers, Boscia peel off mask, a deer pocket mirror and carry case along with two beauty samples.

GoSports Board Games Review!
****This was not a paid post and my honest opinion was used. The
opinions are solely my own and may vary from others. The products
mentioned below have been provided by GoSports for the review free of charge.****
Every time my kids see a package from GoSports arrive they are so excited and want to dig into it right away to see what's inside. I have to admit I get just as excited because GoSports sells a wide range of sports equipment products and board games. What was in our latest box?

GoSports Giant Wooden Playing Dice Set: The dice included in this set measure 2.5" x 2.5" x 2.5" which is large enough you can really only hold one in your hand at a time. Aside from a bag this set didn't come with any kind of way to roll the dice all together so I would suggest looking into a bucket or box so you can roll them all at once. The set includes six dice, a carrying bag and a score board so you can play Rollzee. The dice are made from wood that has been sanded down to prevent any splinters in the finger, this being said not all of the dice will look the same so you may not get a set that looks like the one in my photo or the one on the amazon listing but it will still look great.
GoSports Coinshot Mini Cornhole Game Set: How cute is this mini cornhole game? It comes with two wooden cornhole platforms and four different color metal coins. Typically when playing any type of cornhole game you try to toss or slide a beanbag into the hole to score points, with this set you will try to bounce the coins into the holes. You get one point for every coin that lands on the board itself and three points for every coin in the hole you score. This can be played with up to four players but you can also play this game alone. We have a blast playing this and I like that it is small enough we can take it on trips with us.
GoSports Giant 4 In A Row & Checkers Board Game: This is a giant 30" x 30" double sided mat that has 4 in a row on one side and checkers on the other. The mat is thick and has a little bit of weight to it which will help keep it in place if you are playing it outside and it is windy or if a small child is playing and you don't' want them moving the mat around a lot. The image above shows my four year old son's hand and arm moving his game piece which shows just how large this mat is. We have a blast playing this and it makes it easy for the smaller kids to see where the pieces are and when it is their turn. The chips are made from plastic and are light weight. I do wish this came with some sort of carrying case for the set to make transporting it easier.
All of these GoSports products along with many more can be found on their Amazon shop page linked at the top of this post. Amazon is not affiliated with this review.

Chewy.com Review!
****This was not a paid post and my honest opinion was used. The opinions are solely my own and may vary from others. The products mentioned below have been provided by Chewy.com for the review free of charge.****
Considering that we get a box from Chewy almost monthly to review with our pooch you would think he would be used to having to take pictures by now! He is slowly coming around to having to snap a few shots before getting his treat but you can see from the look on his face below that he isn't all too happy about it. In our latest box from Chewy we receive Purina Beyond Cutlets Chicken Dog Treats & a Nutro Kitchen Classics Loaf Variety Pack wet dog food for Dogs.
Nutro Kitchen Classics Dog Food: This comes with two different flavored dog foods, they are grass fed lamb with brown rice & slow cooked chicken with rice and oatmeal. The price isn't too bad good on this set, you get six 12.5 oz cans for just $10.79 making the cans $1.80 each. The dogs looked like they enjoyed the food, they didn't leave any behind and they didn't seem overly picky about eating it. Looks wise it looks similar to other dog food brands and smelled about the same as well.
Purina Beyond Cutlets Chicken Dog Treats: I don't usually like starting reviews off with the negative of the product first but yuck! These treats stink. I know they are meant for dogs and that they shouldn't appeal to our senses but not all dog products smell that bad but this wasn't one of them. On a more positive note each treat was pretty large and thick vs being thin and easily broken into two. The dogs loved these and couldn't get enough of them! You can see how he is giving me the stink eye in the photo above, he just wants the treat instead of taking photos. This sells for $9.49 on their website.

Hang-O-Matic Giveaway & Review!
****This was not a paid post and my honest opinion was used. The opinions are solely my own and may vary from others. The products mentioned below have been provided by Hang-O-Matic for the review & giveaway free of charge.****
We have dozens of picture frames, pieces of art and shelves scattered all through out our house and one of the number one things they had in common was that most were slightly uneven after being hung up. Let's face it sometimes hanging up shelves and picture frames can be a pain if you are just eyeing everything as you go and you might need to fix it once or twice before it is perfect. I recently came across a nifty and helpful tool called the Hang-O-Matic which is a measuring tape, level, and hole marker all in one portable tool.

The design of this kind of reminds me of a fishing pole, my kids got a real kick out of seeing this out of the box. This tool lets you take three easy steps to having your photo frames aligned perfectly every time. The first step is to align the two black marker bars up with where the nails need to go to hang the frame, Second you will place this against your wall making sure the level is even and gently push it into the wall which will leave behind two small holes where you need to place the nails. The third step is hammering the nails into the wall and hanging the photo. I think this is pretty handy to have around the house and I am glad I found it, I love that it will help me make sure my photos all look the best that they can and I like how portable the Hang-O-Matic is because I can take it with me if the need ever arises. This sells for $14.99 and can be purchased on their website or at a number of retailers check their website for a full list of where to purchase a Hang-O-Matic.
PRIZE ALERT:
One of my readers is going to receive their own Hang-O-Matic to use in their home.
This is open World Wide!, please remember if you DO NOT leave a comment on this blog post as your mandatory entry into the giveaway then all of your entries will be void. Doing the Daily entries will increase your chance of winning. Winners have 72 hours to respond to the notification email!
