Hemp Seed Review + A Giveaway!

As you can probably tell from previous posts, I love the Earthly Body brand and it's various branches of brands. Today I am sharing two great products from their Hemp Seed line. The first product I will be talking about is their Miracle Oil, it is 100% natural, vegan and cruelty free. It's main ingredients are tea tree oil, eucalyptus oil, rosemary leaf oil, soybean oil along with avocado, apricot and hemp oils to bring you a product meant to help keep your skin moisturized, nourished and protected.

The miracle oil comes in a 1oz jar (has a dropper) for $11.99. My skin likes holding onto marks for long periods of time, If I get a small cut or scape it will heal quickly but I will be left with almost a scar for quite some time after so I've been using this on a spot where I accidently hit on a garden chair. It has definitely helped speed up the process of helping the mark fade away, I've even started putting a little on older scars to see if it will help make a difference. I have also noticed it is great for dry skin patches, I think it may also be helpful around your nails/cuticles, I plan on using this on my nails soon. It smells refreshing and a little goes a long way, I never use more than a drop or two at a time so I see this bottle lasting for quite some time before needing to purchase a new bottle.

The second item is the exfoliating body wash with orange & eucalyptus oils. I actually had a hand soap version of this that I absolutely loved and used as a body wash instead of hand soap, so I was very happy when I learned they have an actual body wash version of it so I was sent one. It smells amazing, it is a great boost of citrusy goodness to wake up your senses while leaving your skin feeling moisturized and clean.

Some of the washes that claim to be exfoliating hardly work at all, instead they are a mushy mess. This body wash keeps true to it's claims, and has an actual scrub aspect to it without leaving your skin feeling irritated and helps remove dead skin/dirt leaving that area you washed soft and clean.

Along with both of these great products they sell a large line of other fantastic products from massage candles to lotion and lip balm. I highly suggest checking them out if you are looking for some great spa quality bath products, You can get 25% Off any purchase of Marrakesh or the other Earthly Body products (including CBD drops) by using code Luna25 during check out. You can shop their wide range of products on the Earthly Body website.

These headphones are great for road trips with kids!

**This was not a paid post. My honest opinions were used, they are solely my own and they may vary from others. The products mentioned below have been provided by CozyPhones for the review free of charge.**

Finding the perfect pair of headphones can be a pain sometimes, you might find one that has a great sound quality but the shape of the ear bud hurts your ear. I personally like headphone ear buds with the little squishy covers that can be shaped but they can be kind of pricey and the covers may pop off or become ripped. I recently found a different alternative to traditional headphones, they are called Cozy Phones which are small round ear buds concealed in a fabric head band.

For a review I was sent a black cozy phone ($18.97) from their original line plus the Unicorn and Panda ($19.97) from their kids line for my kids. The headbands have a soft mesh material on the inside and fabric on the outside giving you a comfortable experience. They are corded which some may not like but they do also offer a new line of cordless Cozy phones, I personally don't mind because I am not doing anything super crazy while wearing them so the cord doesn't get in the way.

Everyone has a different shaped head which means not everyone will have their ears in the same place as others so how do you make sure the ear buds are actually on your ears? There is a small slit and opening in the back of the headband where you can user your finger to move the ear buds to the exact spot your ears will sit while wearing the headband. I haven't had any issues with the ear buds moving or slipping away from my ears while wearing these which is nice.

The headband itself isn't too tight, I found it to be a wonderful fit. My ears didn't feel like they were being smashed nor did I feel like the headband was going to fall off which was nice for working out plus it helped hold my hair in place and keep my head cool. If you feel like your headband is getting to nasty due to sweat you can remove the ear buds and machine wash the headband, due to the mesh inside I would probably air dry them but thus far I haven't needed to wash it.

Since the headbands are fabric and the ear buds are flat disks you are able to fall asleep while wearing these and wake up without sore ears from having head buds in for too long, which makes them perfect for road trips with the kids. The sound quality is fantastic, when I have my mp3 player turned up all the way it keeps it loud but still at decibels that protect your ears.

BugBand Mosquito Repellent Review & Giveaway!

**This was not a paid post. The products mentioned below have been provided by BugBand for the review & giveaway free of charge however my honest opinions were used. The opinions expressed below are solely my own & they may vary from others.**

The weather is heating up here in Arizona which means it is time for us to start camping again! We generally don't go camping when it is colder because the nights are unbearable and it seems like you'll never warm up and having to crawl out into the night to use the bathroom is the worst. Sadly the warmer summers months also means Mosquito's will start their mission for blood.

No one wants to leave a BBQ covered in mosquito bites or wake up while camping to find they are covered in mosquito bites. We are always sure to bring bug repellent with us but some of them have such a harsh smell it is almost difficult to be around.

I recently received the chance to work with the company BugBand on a review of their Deet-free mosquito repellents. I was sent their Family pack which contains a container of jumbo towelettes, a pack of individually wrapped towelettes, a 6oz insect repellent spray lotion along with a 3oz spray lotion. The lotion actually doesn't smell bad and has an almost pleasant smell, it has some citrus tones to it along with a citronella scent. I found the lotion to be more of a spray as it came out more of a liquid than you would expect in a lotion but it spread evenly and will help you cover a larger area of skin in one application.

I think the towelettes are pretty neat as well, it is the first time I've ever used a product like this and I like that the towelettes weren't soaked with the repellent. The smell isn't over whelming and the product is easy to use, I am looking forward to using the spray on lotion and the towelettes on our next camping trip.

I also received a set of bug bands which is a bracelet that can be worn to repel the nasty bugs! They do have a bit of a stronger scent than the lotion and towelettes but it isn't that bad. I like that they each come with their own little container because you can put it back inside of it when you are done and use it until the scent is gone. The bracelets have slots that make them adjustable so kids all the way up to adults can wear them, plus they come in assorted colors such as the glow in the dark band I am wearing above so everyone can pick out a color they like. All of their product states that it repels not only mosquitoes but it also repels flies, gnats, no-see-ums, fleas and ticks which are all pests that I don't want any where near me so it makes these products even better.

Only Lucky Reader is going to win their own Family Pack.
