Knock Knock Reivew & Giveaway!

****This was not a paid post and my honest opinion was used. The opinions are solely my own and may vary from others. The products mentioned below have been provided by Knock Knock for the review & giveaway free of charge.****

Knock Knock, Who's there? It's Knock Knock and all of their fantastic and fun products. I love looking for stocking stuffers and small gifts that are not only practical but fun and Knock Knock has a large selection of paper products that suits both of those items on my check list. I am very excited to have been offer the opportunity to work with them on not only a review but a giveaway as well.  After looking through their website I had a hard time deciding on what I might want to review but finally settled on What I Love About Spending the Holidays with You Fill in the Love Journal, A Year of Fortunes & The List Lover’s Notepad Set.

The List Lover's Notepad Set comes with two notepad lists, one is a five day week worth of spaces with an extra space for "next week" so you can list appointments, meetings and more. The other notepad includes enough room for tasks, errands, correspondence and notes with a check mark box for the first three items listed. Each notepad comes with more than 59 sheets and the sheets are thick enough that even if you write on them with a sharpie felt tip marker it won't run through to the next page.

I will be filling out the What I Love About Spending the Holidays with You Fill in the Love Journal to place into my fiances stocking. I think it will be a loving and thoughtful gift for any of your loved ones. It includes things like "You helped teach me about the meaning of ____" and "___ always reminds me of you" it has 50 blank lines you need to fill in, the book is pocket sized so it can fit into a purse or into your back pocket. The A Year of Fortunes is also a lot of fun, it has one fortune for every day of the year from January 1st until December 31st. You can either keep the fortunes inside of the book or you can tear them out if you want to keep that day's to hold onto. My fiance gave me a good idea of just per-tearing all of them out and putting them into a mason jar so I can reach in and grab a random one each day without cheating and looking at the fortunes for the rest of the week. Both journals are extremely well made and pretty sturdy.

Distinct Papers Review & Giveaway!

****This was not a paid post and my honest opinion was used. The opinions are solely my own and may vary from others. The products mentioned below have been provided by Distinct Papers for the review & giveaway free of charge.****

The holidays are coming which means it is time to start getting Holiday cards together, the kids will be starting their Christmas wish lists and holiday event invites will go out. During the holidays I enjoy sending my greeting cards in colored envelopes, I typically just stick with the traditional red and green but depending on who I want to send it to I may go with another color. Distinct Papers is a company who sells a large assortment of paper and envelopes in various sizes and colors, they also offer packing supplies.

I recently received a sample set that included a selection of papers and envelopes for me to check out. Everything was wrapped in a ribbon with a paper flower attached, it was a very lovely way to receive the samples and I kept the paper flower by hanging it on my fridge. The paper and envelope samples I received ranged in weight from 20lb paper to 80lbs paper and I also received two different sized papers with various sized envelopes. I really like how smooth the paper and the envelopes are, your pen (or pencil) will glide across the paper with ease while the paper soaks up the ink. I use a lot of gel based ink pens so it was nice that the ink didn't smear off onto my hand if I accidentally touched it while writing, as you can see from my sloppy Christmas wishlist above the ink is un-smeared. The colors of everything I received are vibrant and bright it is sure to be eye catching while being sent through the mail, used for party invites, corporate newsletters or while being used for any of your paper needs. The thicker card stock would be great for crafting or card making.

I love the selection of colors and sizes of both products they offer, the only thing I wished they offered more of was self sealing envelopes it seems like the only color they have for them is white or a brown kraft. Their packing supplies selection is pretty great as well, they offer mailing envelopes, corrugated boxes, mailing tubes, tape and more. New customers can receive a coupon code for 20% off if you look in their "Special offers" section.

One lucky winner is going to win a $25 Gift card to Distinct Papers to buy the paper or envelopes of your choice.
