Explore nature with the Nature Adventure Pack!

Horizon Group USA is a well known name in our house, we love the craft kits & other products they sell. There are a number of lines that Horizon Group creates & one of those is the Young Scientist Club which currently has several STEAM related kits including the Nature Adventure Pack that I am going to tell you about today! This kit can be purchased on amazon for $24.99, however their products can often be found on sale & are also available in big box stores such as Target & Michaels.

We enjoy being outdoors with our kids, whether it is hiking, camping or just spending the day at the park it is nice to learn a bit about the world around us. This adventure pack comes with some great hands on learning activities. You'll get to build your own mini bee house to stick outside & see if any fuzzy little bee wants to call it home, after you build this cute mini home you can read through their information booklet that teaches you about different bee species along with an assortment of butterflies.

Your child will also be able to complete a scavenger hunt, there are fourteen activities in total include in this cute hard shell backpack. My nine year old son had a lot of fun completing all of these activities & was able to do them all on his own when he felt like completing an activity. The carrying case makes it nice to store everything since your child might not want to complete everything at once, it also makes it convenient for travel, you could even take it with on a camping trip to learn about nature while in the outdoors. I also think this would make a great birthday gift if you are looking for a fun & productive hands on present for a child in your life.

the kit looks very fun and easy for parents to use with their children. I gather you might run out of the ideas of entertainment during summer. and I love the small diy house! it looks cute and fun to make

This nature adventure pack looks awesome for children. I think it's so important to encourage kids to interact with the natural world, and an activity pack is a good way because it'll make learning fun. Taking it on a camping trip sounds like a great idea.

I love everything about this! In a society where so many kids are encouraged to spend all day in front of the computer or television, it's great to see something focused on getting them to spend time outdoors and teaching an appreciation for nature. I am going to have to look into getting this kit for my nieces and nephews - they are all nature lovers and have grown up camping with our family.

It's good to have something like this for the kids, I'm soon becoming an aunty and this is one way to impress the little one.

I think this is such a neat project and way for kids to learn! Much like Joyce, I'll be an aunty again later this month, so I'm definitely putting this on my list of Christmas gifts for the new munchkin as he gets older and starts learning more.

This is really cool. It looks like something that would make a nice companion to the Explore Nature Backpacks that we have at our library.
