Don't Ever Look Behind Door 32 Book Review!

**This was not a paid post. The products mentioned below have been provided by Tale Blade Press for the review & giveaway free of charge however my honest opinions were used. The opinions expressed below are solely my own & they may vary from others.**

When ever I get a chance to review a new book I find it hard to refuse because I love reading and my kids have picked up the habit as well. I was recently offered a chance to review a book called "Don't Ever Look Behind Door 32" written by B.C.R Fegan, Illustrated by Lenny Wen and right away I knew it would be a perfect fit for my kids based off the cover alone. (Yes, I judged a book by its cover!)

From start to finish I am a big fan of this book, it is about a hotel called The Magical Hotel of Hoo and it's only rule, don't look behind door number 32.  Each room hosts a different guest and the book features dozens of different creature species all show cased with charming and whimsical illustrations. The book may be packed with different magical creatures which may seem like it would be a darker kids book but it is actually quite calming and fun.

There is quite a bit of rhyming in the book that adds to the whimsical feel of the book which ties together nicely with the illustrations through out. My personal favorite room is room 21 which hosts a group of adorably cute wingless dragons. At the end of the book they do let you take a peek at what is inside door 32, but I won't be sharing that with you here because why ruin the fun?

I'd say this would be a decent book for any age including beginning readers because aside from "contemplate" "queue" and possibly "fidgety" everything is in pretty simple and easy to read terms. This book also makes for a great bed time story for kids because it is just the right length, not too long and not too short so your child will feel like they received the perfect amount of reading time before bed. Both my five year old and nine year old love this book, I could read this book over and over again without it growing old because of how well written everything is and how sweet all the characters are.

I think my son would like Henry and the hidden treasure because he likes to hunt for treasure. He's an autistic three year old and treasure hunting is one of his favorite games
