Sisters Gourmet Review & Giveaway

I can't personally think of anyone I know who doesn't like sweets in some way or another so I was very happy to get to try out two cookie batches by a company called Sisters Gourmet. Want to know a little bit about the two sisters behind Sisters Gourmet? Here is a little information about them from their About Us section. I was recently sent two cookie mixes from their Crisp & Colorful mixes line which were the Traditional Chocolate chip & the Hopscotch cookie. The way the mixes came packaged looked great I enjoy the fact they come in a glass mason jar because it can be resused after you use the cookie/baking mix. They finish the look of the mixes by putting decorating wrapping on the top with a bow & the instructions which are easy to follow. My daughter loved being able to help in the process of making these cookies it took about two minutes to mix everything properly & get them onto the pan. The cookies were very moist & delicious it is amazing the difference fresh ingredients make vs Ready made or ready mixed cookie dough. I think that these mixes would make great presents for any occasion,there are quite a few flavors to choose from & they also offer Cake & Brownie mixes. Nuby Brites pacifier review

 I have a ten week old son who is quite picky about his pacifier, It has been a challenge to find the "right" one which means a lot of pacifier Testing. The company Nuby makes & sells a number of pacifiers,being part of the Nuby Mommy Bloggers team I was recently sent a set of their "Brites Pacifier and Pacifinder"

I admit this doesn't replace his favorite pacifier but he does enjoy the shape & texture of this pacifier. I enjoy the fact that the pacifier is slightly curved fitting my sons mouth/cheek area better than most pacifiers would preventing him from getting milk caught there or leaving a red mark. The Brites come in an assortment of Bight colors & fun designs they also come with an included pacifinder which allows you to attach the pacifier to a stroller,a car seat or your child so if they drop the pacifier it won't end up on the ground. Out of the pacifier brands I have tried with my son I would rate this in the top five & would suggest this for parents who are having or have recently had a baby.

Nuby Funshine Mirror Toy Review

I am excited to be able to start buying my son toys he is now fully aware of his surroundings & stays awake longer during the day. Being a Nuby Mommy Blogger means I am able to review their wonderful toys & baby products with my son. My son is currently nine weeks old & being more active everyday so I have been looking around for age appropriate toys. I was recently sent a toy called the Funshine Mirror Toy which is perfect for ages 0+.

My son loves this toy,it helps keep him calm and happy while on long car rides. When you press the nose the two small lights on the cheeks start to flash while "You are My Sunshine plays,I like that the lights aren't bright enough to hurt his eyes. The bright colors of the sun shaped toy keeps his attention even when the sound & lights are off,the Mirror on the back makes the toy triple the fun. Once my son starts teething he will be able to chew on the "rays" on the sun if he chooses & I won't have to worry about one popping off because this is a very sturdy toy. The sun comes with a ribbon attached to a hook making it easy to hook onto the stroller,or car seat. The Funshine Mirror Toy can be purchased at Babies R US,Khols or Diapers.com. This is a toy I would highly suggest for anyone who has a infant looking for a reliable & stimulating toy,I wish I had this when my daughter was younger.

Nuby Tickle Toes Review

When you are a parent you are always on the look out for age appropriate toys your children might like. Before becoming a Nuby Mommy Blogger I wasn't aware they sold toys it was my understanding that they only sold. teethers and bottles/cups. Taking a look through their toy & teething toy collection I found that I loved everything they have to offer, I was recently sent a Tickle Toes Bear for a review.

When our bear arrived I am unsure exactly what I was expecting something that sounded similar to a animal sound made to sound like it was laughing? The bear has a bit of a high pitched child's laughter when you squeeze the foot,a little shocking at first but then you get used to it. The bear itself is very soft and perfectly for cuddling,since there are no hard parts he is great for kids of any age. My son is still a bit young to realize he needs to push the foot in order to hear the laughter but he enjoys having the bear next to him while he sleeps. Beauty Stop Online Review

Like most women I enjoy buying makeup,nail polish & hair products,I have my favorites but I also like to test out new products to find new favorites that may be better than what I am currently using. I recently received the chance to do a review for Beauty Stop Online there were so many wonderful products on their site that it was hard to choose something for review.

 

After a lot of debate I decided to review two Essie polishes I choose the Essie Protein Base Coat #6011 & Essie Top Coat Everyday #6020. When the package arrived I was happy to find the nail polish packaged quite well to keep it safe during transport. Using the Essie Protein base coat I found that it came out a creamy white color but then dried to a more translucent shade allowing you to wear just the protein coat if you choose to do so. On top of the base coat I used a flat black nail polish followed by the Essie top coat. I have had issues with Top coats I have used in the past absorbing the color of the polish I was using & then transferring to the brush or bottle of top coat leaving a unpleasant colored film the next time I used it,This polish didn't do that it went on smooth then dried fast leaving my nails looking flawless.This is the first time I have tried the Essie brand [A shocker I know!] & I quite enjoy using the brand, Beauty Stop Online offers over a Hundred and Fifty shades of Essie color polishes for your nail painting delight.
