Paris Baguette in Scottsdale!

I was recently told about an adorable little bakery & café in Scottsdale, and wanted to check it out when I was in the area. I had the chance last weekend to stop by and I enjoyed our visit and was glad I made the time to check it out. Paris Baguette is located at 16495 N Scottsdale Road Suite 106 Scottsdale, AZ 85260 which is inside of the Promenade shopping center on the corner of Scottsdale Road & Frank Lloyd Wright Blvd. They serve a wide range of pastries, breads, cakes, sandwiches and more. Most of the smaller pastries in the displays were $5-$8 each, cake slices were $8-$11 each and whole cakes were $40+, I didn't really look at the bread or the more 'lunch' type items as I was mainly looking for a sweet breakfast treat so I am unsure what the prices on them are.

When you arrive you can grab a little tray & a small pair of tongs, then walk along & select what items you want to put on your tray. At check out they will ring everything up and put it into a box for you, or leave it on the tray if you'd prefer to eat inside of the bakery. We arrived fairly early on a Saturday morning, about two hours after they opened. Although it was fairly busy inside the staff were keeping the display cases stocked and the check out line was moving pretty quickly.

The longest part of the process was simply picking out what you wanted to buy! There were so many delicious options to choose from and if you are trying to stick to a budget that can get out of hand quickly if you aren't paying attention. I picked up four pastry products to try with my husband & it came out to about $23 with tax.

We tried the Very Berry Pastry which was a small pastry with a custard cream topped with strawberries, blueberries, raspberries and blackberries, it tasted fresh and was very delicious. The second product we tried was a small strawberry & custard croissant which was a close favorite to the very berry pastry for me. I had also grabbed a jumbo cinnamon twist donut that looked delicious, but I probably wouldn't get it again because it was kind of dry. Last but no least, I grabbed a pecan tart that was tasty & very similar to a pecan pie but smaller and without as much crust. I would visit again to try out some of the other items they sell as well.
