Omega Mart Las Vegas Review!

We just went on vacation to Las Vegas & While we were there we tried to do at least one thing each of us wanted to do with the short amount of time we were in town. One of the things my son really wanted to do was visit Omega Mart at Area 15. If you are unfamiliar with Omega Mart it is a interactive art experience created by Meow Wolf. This experience is family friendly & we were all looking forward to exploring and experiencing this exhibit so we were excited when given the opportunity to receive press passes to explore Omega Mart in exchange for coverage. Depending on the ticket level you purchase & how deep you want to dive into the story being told at the exhibit I have read that guests spend anywhere from forty-five minutes to up to eight hours exploring all of the rooms and details of Omega Mart. How long you stay is all up to you.

We arrived in the afternoon & even though there were a ton of other people exploring at the same time, there was plenty of room to look around and everyone was working together to take turns with each interactive exhibit. The only downside to a lot of people is you were able to see some of the more hidden secrets being revealed in front of you vs being able to find them on your own.  Even so, we enjoyed our time exploring all of the different rooms. I won't give away any of the hidden rooms so that when you visit you can look around for them yourself. There are three different floors of rooms to explore & along the way there is tons of things to interact with.

Every single area you will explore is completely different from the last, there is so much to see and many beautiful features found within this exhibit. Along with the beautiful, you will also find some strange and bizarre things that are fun as well. If you want to stop for a while and enjoy a room, there is plenty of seating found through out the rooms and there are bathrooms available for anyone who needs them. The stair cases in the middle of the facility are pretty steep so if you prefer there is a regular staircase and also an elevator for anyone who needs them.

It was pretty neat that the supermarket part of the experience was an actual store & you could purchase many of the products seen on the shelves. They had a wide range of products from clothing to edible items like leprechaun kidneys or Manticore poop. Just looking at all of the crazy products by itself was a lot of fun, because you never know what you might be picking up to look at. They had a display of what looked like avocados, but once you pick it up you realize that it is actually a coin purse that looks like an avocado. You'll also find crazier finds like tattooed chicken meat.

When exploring you'll want to press buttons, open doors, look through books & files along with answering phones and even watching the TV's in various rooms. There are answers and hidden pieces of art + clues all over the place. Some of the rooms are very bright & colorful while others might be a bit darker. I had a lot of fun exploring Omega Mart with my family, it was exciting and was a great family friendly adventure. I would say we spent about an hour and a half exploring everything & I am sure there is still a few things we may have missed.

Tickets are $54 per person for general admission, they also offer a VIP Package for $99 which includes goodies and discounts at the store, plus a Omega Quest package for $129. Tickets can be booked in advanced online.

DisclaimerMeow Wolf + Omega Mart provided tickets for us to visit for the review free of charge no other compensation was provided. This looks like a lot of fun. I am a big fan of visiting interactive exhibitions, we have had a few pop up in England that I have been to.

What a wild and wacky place! All of the different rooms do look completely different - I'd love to explore this if I was ever in Las Vegas.
