TownleyGirl Giveaway & Review!

****This was not a paid post and my honest opinion was used. The opinions are solely my own and may vary from others. The products mentioned below have been provided by TownleyGirl for the review & giveaway free of charge.****

As my daughter is getting older she is getting more interested in painting her nails, making her own headbands and lip balms. I don't want to get her regular nail polish because most have harsh chemical smells and aren't the easiest to get off so I am very thankful for a company called Townley Girl who makes kid friendly beauty products.

I love that Townley Girl provides beauty products in a number of fun Disney, Dreamworks and Emoji themes.I was recently sent a handful of products to test out and share with all of my readers. The image above shows all of the products I received in my fun review box.

Pictured above is a Tsum Tsum Ready, Set, Go! Cosmetic Set which currently isn't listed on their website. It includes a small coin purse, a lip balm key chain, lip balm jar, a lip gloss tube, a bottle of nail polish and a thing of hand sanitizer all featuring the fun and lovable Tusm Tusm characters. I am not sure why this set isn't currently listed on their website the only thing I can think of is perhaps there is printing error on the sanitizer because it says "Strawberry flavored" instead of scented so that is the only thing I can think of because otherwise this is a great set. The only product I didn't like was the pink lip balm jar because the consistency was too thick, but the cute jar can always be re-purposed. All the products in this set have nice scents. I give this set a 4 out of 5 stars due to the pink balm and I was also a little surprised the lip gloss key ring didn't come with one of the cute little Tusm Tusm characters attached at the top like their other lip gloss set they sell.

Frozen 18 pc nail polish set (Retail $14.99) - Their nail polishes don't have overly strong scents, and even if your daughter makes a mess while painting her nails this polish not only easy wipes off when wet but after it dries it peels off. The shades go along with the movie nicely and the bottles are easy to hold, I give this set 5 out of 5 stars.

Emoji Hair Brush (Retail $4.99)- This brush I did not personally test out because I own one of their other brushes that is made just like this so this specific brush I gave to a friend of mine.I like their brushes because the brush itself is sturdy and so are the bristles. The bristles are spaced far enough apart this brush helps detangle your hair without getting stuck or pulling your hair out. This brush gets a 5 out of 5 stars, it is a great brush with a fun printed design.

Trolls 6 Pack Headband Set (Retail $6.99) -These headbands can be worn in a number of different ways, you can wear each headband without a clip or you can attach a clip to the headband or you can wear just the hair clips. It comes with six headbands and six clips, I think they did a pretty good job with providing an assortment of band prints and clip styles. This set gets a 5 out of 5 stars.

Trolls Super Shine Lip Jellies (Retail $6.99) - This lip jellies set comes with five translucent lip balms in the flavors cotton candy, grape, bubble gum, lemon, and watermelon although I tested the watermelon one you can't really taste the flavoring. The balms are moisturizing and the formula isn't sticky and it isn't thick so it glides on smoothly and leaves your lips with a nice shimmer. This set gets a 4 out of 5 because the balms aren't flavored (but then again I wouldn't recommend licking or eating any kind of lip balm/lip gloss/lip stick anyways).

PRIZE ALERT:
Two lucky winners are each going to receive a Trolls Super Shine Lip Jellies Set.

TomBoxes Review!

****This was not a paid post and my honest opinion was used. The opinions are solely my own and may vary from others. The products mentioned below have been provided by TomBoxes for the review free of charge.****

Sometimes starting your period can add extra stress to an already stressful and hectic week and it makes you just want to break down and cry, but thankfully their is a very helpful and wonderful company called TomBoxes who wants to help you out each month. TomBoxes stands for "Time of the Month boxes" and it is aimed to provide you with not only pads or tampons but also with extra goodies to help brighten your day. Each box will receive a mixture of makeup, jewelry and some kind of candy and they have a option where you can double up on the makeup and jewelry you'll receive.

I really like that you are able to select from several different pad/tampon brands including Tampax, Always & more so you can be sure you will get a product you will use. The box I received had a box of Playtex sport tampons which are a great product! I received the double up box which means I received more jewelry & makeup than what comes in the basic monthly box. The items in my box that are included in the basic boxes are a "Have hope" silver bangle (Retail $10)  which looks great, it is simple and inspirational, California mango extreme creme travel size (Retail $2), Iris belle cherry plum matte lipstick (Retail $10), Fran Wilson Professional Quality pumice sponge (retail $4) & Pumpkin caramels from The Little Red Hen. The Iris Belle lipstick is a lovely shade and is right up my alley so I was happy to see it included in this box. I didn't really like the caramels the pumpkin flavor was a little overwhelming but that is just my personal opinion I am not a huge fan of pumpkin spice.

The products that were included and aren't in the basic box but are in the "Double up" box were as follows; Turqoise Arrow Dangle Earrings (Retail $11), Iris Belle coral red liquid matte lipstick (Retail $10), Hikari eye shadow in bone (Retail $13) and Be A Bombshell eye crayon in angel eyes (Retail $5). The Be A Bombshell eye crayon is perfect because you can use it as a base under your eye shadow and it glides on smoothly and evenly helping you create the perfect eye shadow base. The earrings are a lovely color and they are also light weight so they won't weigh on your ear lobes. I also love the color of the eye shadow they sent. I am over all very happy with this box and think it is the perfect subscription box for all women out there. Basic boxes start at $16 a month which is a great deal, the month's box I received included $26 worth of product not including the candy or the tampons, and a double up box is $6 more than the basic and the box I received had an extra $39 worth of products so it is 100% worth the price. They also have an additional option where they will include a 4pack of Venus razor blades for an additional $12 a month.

Paficica Beauty Review!

****This was not a paid post and my honest opinion was used. The opinions are solely my own and may vary from others. The products mentioned below have been provided by
Pacifica Beauty for the review free of charge.****

Pacifica beauty is becoming my favorite beauty brand more and more every time I test out the products they send me because the products are high quality, have wonderful color pigmentation and the packaging is some of the best I've seen. I was recently sent a trio of their new polishes to test out, right from the moment I opened the package I knew these colors were going to look lovely when applied to my nails.

As you can see it originally arrived as a trio however tragedy struck and while I was taking photos of the bottles one of them fell and broke upon hitting the floor. I was so sad because it was one of the three bottles I was most looking forward to using but there is no use crying over spilled milk. The two remaining polishes were Wonderland and London Tomboy as seen above. Each of the polishes shown here are available on the Pacifica beauty website for $9 along with a number of other eye catching shades and high quality makeup. Pacifica Beauty is 100% Vegan and Cruelty free!

In the bottle London Tomboy looks like a deep green with hints of blue but when applied to the nails reminds me of a forest green, it is quite dark but reminds me of the holidays. The Winter wonderland looks like an off white but when you look at in on the brush seems to have glitter in it, when applied to my nails and looked at closely I did not notice any glitter. The Wonderland to me in person seemed to give off a light pink hue it wasn't quite white but also not quite beige. London Tomboy is a perfect match for a bold gold and it looks good with or without a clear top coat. In the photos of my nails shown above I have on a single layer of London Tomboy which spread on smoothly and evenly without any issue and two coats of the Wonderland because the first coat looked slightly sheer and I wanted it to be more solid. I've been wearing this polish for five days now and it actually hasn't chipped too much it has only chipped around the very tips of my nails which I personally think is pretty good.

Coobie Seamless Bra Review & Giveaway!

****This was not a paid post and my honest opinion was used. The opinions are solely my own and may vary from others. The products mentioned below have been provided by Coobie Seamless Bras for the review & giveaway free of charge.****

When it comes bras I wear a DD so I like a bra that looks cute but also offers support for the girls and for my back. Generally I like buying bras with an underwire but it never fails that within one to two months the wire starts to migrate it's way out of the seam and starts poking me which leads me to having to rip out the wire which as you know makes it to where the bra isn't the same after. When I was offered a chance to work with Coobie Seamless Bras on a review & giveaway I happily expected because I have heard several good things about the company.

For my review I received a Coobie comfort bra in XL color: Medium Gray. The bra is mostly stretchy fabric but it does have some padding in the cups, I wish the padding part was slightly larger because it is significantly smaller than the cup as a whole so depending on how you move around the padding may shift around a bit, but the good news is the padding is removable so if it bugs you just remove it. Other than wishing the padding was slightly larger in width I absolutely love this bra. There is no underwire yet this bra is still very supportive and comfortable to wear, instead of having hooks in the back that can come undone or even bend in the dryer and result in pokes in the back this bra is fabric all the way around and is put on by pulling over your head. It stretches nicely so that it fits over your shoulders but goes back to its forming shape once it is on your chest area giving you the best support possible. I also like that there is no tag on the bra everything you need to know is printed right onto the inside fabric of the bra. I wore this while doing yoga and it was extremely comfortable almost to the point where I forgot I was even wearing a bra. While wearing a form fitting tee you aren't able to see your bra straps which is a big plus!

Coobie Seamless Bras are ultra comfortable and supportive. Perfect for everyday wear our versatile one-size fits 32A - 36D, available in 7+ styles and 70+ colors/patterns, with adjustable straps and removable pads! Try one, you'll love it!  Save 25% on Coobie Seamless Bras using code: USFG

PRIZE ALERT:
Two lucky winners are each going to receive a bra of their choice from a list provided by Coobie. (Will be emailed to you after you win, you get to select the style and size but the colors will vary).

This is open World Wide, please remember if you DO NOT leave a comment on this blog post as your mandatory entry into the giveaway then all of your entries will be void. Doing the Daily entries will increase your chance of winning. Winners have 72 hours to respond to the notification email!

Ripley's Believe It or Not! Review & Giveaway!

****This was not a paid post and my honest opinion was used. The opinions are solely my own and may vary from others. The products mentioned below have been provided by Ripley's Believe It or Not! for the review & giveaway free of charge.****
I remember when I was a kid one of my favorite books to buy every year when those book order sheets go around school was the newest addition of Ripley's Believe It or Not! Now my kids are book worms too and they enjoy the books as well. I am very happy to have received the chance to work with Ripley's on a review and giveaway of their newest book Unlock the Weird! 2017.

I really like that they come out with a new edition every year that has updated information on relevant things that have happened from the year before. The book is quite large and has everything from gross (sheep dung spitting - bleck!) to the extraordinary plus everything in between and the book is packed with photos to highlight everything they talk about. One of my favorites from the book is the mystery of the mountain lion who had an extra set of fangs growing out of its head near the ears, it is such a strange looking photo and really makes you wonder what happened and what kind of defects other animals out there may have and live with until they are adults without too much of a major issue. I also love the "Twin Strangers" story about a woman who meet three other women who looked almost exactly like her but weren't related to her in any way.

Once you start reading the book you will start to get sucked in and you won't want to put it down, this book will make a wonderful Christmas gift for anyone who likes the strange, the wild and the weird!

PRIZE ALERT:
One lucky winner is going to receive a copy of Unlock the Weird! 2017.

This is open to US Residents only!, please remember if you DO NOT leave a comment on this blog post as your mandatory entry into the giveaway then all of your entries will be void. Brick Swag November Review!

****This was not a paid post and my honest opinion was used. The opinions are solely my own and may vary from others. The products mentioned below have been provided by Brick Swag for the review free of charge.****

I am always looking for fun and exciting products for families to share together, A monthly LEGO subscription box called BrickSwag has a product that fits that perfectly. BrickSwag is the #1 membership for LEGO fans. Each month includes official LEGO kits to build and keep, exclusive t-shirt, Build magazine, Funky Fig trading cards, and more surprises. Their Mission: To Inspire, Educate, and Entertain with LEGO bricks. I received the November Brick Swag box which had an adorable building challenge where you made a Turkey from the bricks they provided.

When I checked the mail I spotted the bright red box that looked like a giant lego and knew my Brick Swag had arrived. I was genuinely surprised by how much was packed into this small box, I received a lego inspired shirt, a cup, a small red brick, a build pack, booster bricks, a poster and some lego trading cards. The shirt included is soft, fits well and seems like it is a well made shirt, it is a bit large for a child so my fiance has taken to wearing it. Each of the Brick packs are about the size of a small bag of baby carrots. After you are done using them for the build set you can use them to start building your own collection of Lego's and you can build anything you set your mind to.

This subscription box is $26 a month plus S&H if you subscribe to just one month, or $20 if you subscribe for a year. The cost of Lego's can be pretty expensive, I do wish there were a few more lego's in this box but with the shirt and other goods I do think it is a reasonable price for this subscription box. My daughter had a lot of fun making the two builds they show in the magazine that is included, the first one we did was a Turkey build and the second was a Cornucopia which were themed for Thanksgiving. Decembers box is going to be Star Wars theme to celebrate the release of the new movie. If you take a photo of you with your Brick Swag you will receive the chance to be featured in their monthly Brick mag which will be seen by all of their subscribers.

What do you think of the November Brick Swag box?

AOS Designs Review!

****This was not a paid post and my honest opinion was used. The opinions are solely my own and may vary from others. The products mentioned below have been provided by AOS Designs for the review free of charge.****

Halloween is almost upon us, everyone is looking for what they want to dress as this year but is a costume really complete without accessories? Part of what makes a costume pop is the makeup and jewelry that goes along with it for example if your going as Maleficent why not wear a gorgeous ring inspired by her? I recently found a magical etsy shop called AOS Designs who sells Disney Villain & Princess Jewelry along with Pick A Pearl Cages.

I was immediately drawn to the Maleficent ring which is shown in the first photo above, it is absolutely gorgeous and suits her personality perfectly. Along with the Maleficent ring there are dozens of cute jewelry items such as the Rapunzel silver tiara princess ring, and all the Disney charms for the loose charm lockets. I was sent the four items above for my products review, the products arrived extremely fast and were well labeled and packaged. The items are the Maleficent ring, Maleficent movie cameo necklace, Alice in Wonderland flower ring and the Sleeping Beauty tiara ring. I do wish I would have provided my ring size before the items were sent as the rings only fit my pinky so when you order don't forget to include your ring size!

The jewelry is well made and sturdy you won't have to worry about these breaking if your hand happens to bump into something hard. The jewelry has small details that help complete the piece for example the flower ring has dots on the petals and small eyes to make the flower look just like the flowers in the movie. All of their jewelry ranges from $6 to $30 plus shipping and they ship world wide. Customer service was fast and friendly, if you are looking for something specific that is related to Disney I am sure they would be happy to help you find it. I think this store has tons of great items for the Disney lover in your life!
