MuchPak Review!

**This was not a paid post. My honest opinions were used, they are solely my own & they may vary from others. The products mentioned below have been provided by MunchPak for the review free of charge.**

One of my favorite things about snack subscription boxes is that you get the chance to try snacks from all over the world. MunchPak is one of the subscription boxes that helps widen your snack palette by sending you different snacks in each month's box. I was recently sent one of these boxes to try out for a review and the products I received can be seen below (I received the classic box):

The box included twelve different snacks that ranged from salty to sweet. Something I would enjoy seeing in this box is a card with information on what each snack is, several of the snacks are from over seas so they are in their native language and it is hard to tell what they are and what is in them or a way to find out easily what they are. I like the selection of different textured snacks they included in the box I received and I like that they came from different parts of the world. There are enough snacks in this one box for 2-3 people if you are willing to share that is, otherwise one person could eat this over the course of a few days to a week depending on how often you like to snack.

MunchPak has a section where you can customize your box they have fifteen different options to choose from which include Nuts,Salty, Sweet, Candy, Chips, etc to narrow down your likes a little bit. I've tried a few snack boxes in the past but I am happy to say every single product in this box was a new snack to me, I haven't tried or heard of almost all of these snacks. I have not tried all of these yet but what I have tried I have highly enjoyed, I think my favorite were the two wafer treats with hazelnut/chocolate spread and the chocolate filled crepe. This was also the first snack subscription box that I've tried that came with a drink! They offer three different sized boxes a 5+ snacks, 10+ snacks and a 20+ snacks, the shipping was quick and everything was packed well nothing came crushed or smashed which is a big bonus. None of the snacks I've tried in this pack so far have been odd tasting or bad, everything has been fairly neutral and tasty which is good because I am not a big fan of spicy or overly sour treats.

May LootCrate Review!

****This was not a paid post and my honest opinion was used. The opinions are solely my own and may vary from others. The products mentioned below have been provided by LootCrate for the review free of charge.****

The May LootCrate theme was 'Power' and it featured a number of products featuring what power means to LootCrate things that are unstoppable, unrelenting and unbeatable.

The crate included a Hulk Q-Figure, A Exclusive Warcraft  T-shirt, A exclusive Dragon Ball Z Key chain, A Infinity Gauntlet oven mitt, and the monthly collectable pin. Shortly after receiving the box I received an email letting me know the oven mitt wasn't quite up to par for use in the kitchen, the fabrics are a bit too thin and it wasn't protecting people from the heat so I was asked not to use the glove. It is nice they send out emails alerting people of any issues that might arise, this is the first time it has happened though, normally their products are well made and sturdy. When it comes to their shirts they run small so I would suggest buying one size above what you normally wear to make sure it fits correctly. Over all I was pretty pleased with the items in this box as were my kids, my son took off with the Hulk figure and my daughter kept the Dragon Ball Z key chain she was very excited to see it when we opened the box. My favorite thing about this subscription box is that there is usually something for everyone in our home.

LootCrate ships to the US,Canada,The United Kingdom and Australia. Loot Crate is $13.95 a month [plus $6 S/H] the site guarantees $30+ worth of goodies in your box You can sign up for just a one time box or you can sign up for 6 months to a years worth of boxes & you can use the code “LunaMoon10” you will receive 10% off of your purchase price. What do you think might be in Next months box?

Brick Swag November Review!

****This was not a paid post and my honest opinion was used. The opinions are solely my own and may vary from others. The products mentioned below have been provided by Brick Swag for the review free of charge.****

I am always looking for fun and exciting products for families to share together, A monthly LEGO subscription box called BrickSwag has a product that fits that perfectly. BrickSwag is the #1 membership for LEGO fans. Each month includes official LEGO kits to build and keep, exclusive t-shirt, Build magazine, Funky Fig trading cards, and more surprises. Their Mission: To Inspire, Educate, and Entertain with LEGO bricks. I received the November Brick Swag box which had an adorable building challenge where you made a Turkey from the bricks they provided.

When I checked the mail I spotted the bright red box that looked like a giant lego and knew my Brick Swag had arrived. I was genuinely surprised by how much was packed into this small box, I received a lego inspired shirt, a cup, a small red brick, a build pack, booster bricks, a poster and some lego trading cards. The shirt included is soft, fits well and seems like it is a well made shirt, it is a bit large for a child so my fiance has taken to wearing it. Each of the Brick packs are about the size of a small bag of baby carrots. After you are done using them for the build set you can use them to start building your own collection of Lego's and you can build anything you set your mind to.

This subscription box is $26 a month plus S&H if you subscribe to just one month, or $20 if you subscribe for a year. The cost of Lego's can be pretty expensive, I do wish there were a few more lego's in this box but with the shirt and other goods I do think it is a reasonable price for this subscription box. My daughter had a lot of fun making the two builds they show in the magazine that is included, the first one we did was a Turkey build and the second was a Cornucopia which were themed for Thanksgiving. Decembers box is going to be Star Wars theme to celebrate the release of the new movie. If you take a photo of you with your Brick Swag you will receive the chance to be featured in their monthly Brick mag which will be seen by all of their subscribers.

What do you think of the November Brick Swag box?

BetterBox Review!

****This was not a paid post and my honest opinion was used. The opinions are solely my own and may vary from others. The products mentioned below have been provided by
BetterBox for the review free of charge.****

Everyone could use a little extra treat in their life from time to time and a company called BetterBox is here to help you reach that goal. BetterBox is built on the principle that we can all build better lives—and a better world—through simple positive deeds, performed regularly.

The box I received contained a smiley face sugar cookie, a small box of tea, a heart shaped note pad, a few greeting cards, a small glass tube of bath salts and a small clay stone that says Gratitude. Once you receive your box it has several small notes included the first is your welcome letter which tells you how to unlock your seven-day quest which is where they will email you a task to do once a day that has something to do with one of the items in your box. Everything was packaged well and gives you a warm feeling right off the bath because they are all lovely items and can all be used as a way to relax.

Day number one included a mind map which included the following exercises to fill out "I am Grateful for." "Because they have these qualities" "Which reminds me to be grateful for these". Day two wanted us to send a note of appreciation to a friend or loved one, which I love because I enjoy sending cards. Day three you are instructed to relax and enjoy a cup of tea, I am not a huge fan of tea so I let someone I know who likes tea drink this while I enjoyed an iced coffee and we relaxed together. Day four we were told to go to our happy place, a place for which we are extremely grateful. We were to spend 30 minutes there in quiet appreciation and leave our gratitude stone behind for someone to find.

Day four reminds me of a stone my fiance and I used to have that said "love" and was used as a game of hide and seek, sadly one of us hid it so well we never found it again even after we moved. Day five asked you to perform an act of kindness, I had no problem fulfilling this because I am always trying to do random acts of kindness when ever I can. Day six we were to use 5 of our sticky notes, write all the things we are grateful for on them and post them somewhere we would see them on a regular basis, I placed them where my fiance could see them as well because I am grateful for him and our children. Day seven was the last day and you were instructed to relax in the bath with your bath salts! Over all I think this is a well thought out box and think that these will do extremely well because not only do they hold wonderful items but it gives you something fun to do and look forward to during the entire time you have this box. I received the seven day sample box the normal boxes last for twenty one days, and they have different themed boxes which each have their own set of activities and products. Boxes are $34 each but you can save 30% by signing up for a subscription instead of a single box.
