I am the type of person that no matter what the temperature outside is, I like sleeping with my blanket. Even in the summer when it is warmer out, I might not have it completely over me, but it will be by my side usually over at least part of my body (it's a security thing). So, when I was asked to review the Elegear Cooling blanket that is supposed to help cool you down, I was intrigued & wanted to see if it actually works. Blankets are supposed to keep you warm, not cool you down so I was skeptical it would work as was my husband.

I was very surprised when I tried this out because you can instantly feel that it helps cool your body down. Shortly after I received this for a review, I put it over my husband when he was sitting in his chair & he was surprised by it too. We both mentioned that you could instantly feel the change, it isn't something that happens gradually. Later that night he had gone to bed before I did & when I went into the room, he had stolen the blanket and was wrapped up in it! Later that night he became a little too chilly between the blanket and the fans being on and gave me the blanket back. 

This Japanese Arc-chill cooling blanket comes in an assortment of sizes, they have two blankets that have a ocean theme which can be purchased in either Grey or Blue. We received the grey blanket in King size which retails for $54 on amazon. However, you can get 10% off by using code UOKQ9UL8   expire date: 2027-12-31. I do want to note ours smelled a little odd when we first opened it, so I washed it before we used it. It should be noted you are supposed to hang/air dry this blanket, I was impatient & decided to put it on a light cycle in the dryer and I can see why you would want to air dry this because it got super tangled up, I was able to untangle it though and the blanket is alright. Since this was delivered either myself or my husband have used this every night & I've even used it on the sofa once or twice. If you are a warm sleeper or live somewhere it stays warm at night, then you should check out this blanket. Halloween Goodies Giveaway!

Every year I love going to see what new decorations the stores near me have, this year I decided to go a bit early and did a little shopping last month as I had a feeling the stores would sell out quickly. I am glad I decided to do that! Last year I waited until October to shop and almost every store had mostly barren shelves, this year is looking the same as most stores aren't restocking any Halloween goods and are putting out Christmas instead. I think it is a combination of stores just not restocking and resellers snagging all the cheaper goodies which results in the mostly empty shelves.

Snaptiles allow you to redecorate in an instant! Review + Giveaway

I am one of those people who loves hanging up a bunch of family photos around the house, I use both frames and canvas prints but I recently found out I was really missing out not knowing about Snaptiles. Some people who rent don't like hanging up a bunch of art work or photo frames because nails can leave a lot of little holes in the wall, with Snaptiles you have one main support photo (depending on the number of tiles you purchase) that gets mounted to the wall which is done with thumb tacks and command strips. You can purchase four tiles for $49 at the moment with free shipping! (normally $59) if you'd like additional tiles they are $9 each.

So if the tiles only need one tile that is actually stuck to the wall, how do the rest of the photos stay up? Each one is magnetic and it holds onto the photo next to it. 

Each tile is 8x8 and are about 2" thick, I received ten tiles so the box that was shipped to me was a pretty decent size. I was a little shocked when I picked up the box and found how light weight it was, each tile is well made and built to last while also being light weight to allow the magnetic supports to work. 

One of the biggest highlights of these is that you can re-arrange them into various shapes and swap out where you'd like each photo placed any time you'd like. If you aren't sure on a shape design you'd like, they have a few examples on their website including a heart and a peace sign. I will be adding a short clip to my Instagram page of how easily these pop together. 

The shipping on these was pretty quick and every print looks amazing. While you are checking out you are able to pick a boarder for your frames, they can be mirrored or a solid color can be added. I have mine mirrored although thinking about it I probably should have gone with a solid black for the outside. It took us less than five minutes to get the main tile set up and get everything up on the wall, I love how everything turned out and I will be getting more in the future.

I am always looking for new art, decor, and picture frames for my house and one of the things I love is photo canvas prints, I own a few of the regular printed canvas prints that are put onto a wooden frame but I was recently introduced to a new type of canvas print. CanvasPop is now selling frames prints, each print comes in a wooden frame with a plexiglass piece in-front of the print to keep it protected.





I like that the frame has plexiglass insert instead of regular glass because if it falls or if something strikes it the insert won't shatter. I recently received one of these framed prints for a review and I am quite impressed with it, and the process that goes into ordering a print. Placing an order is quick, easy and stress free the most stressful part will be selecting the photo you would like in the frame. Shortly after you place your order (1-3 days) you will receive an email with a proof of your frame and will be asked to approve that image for printing, from there it will take 1-7 days to receive your frame in the mail depending on where you live.

The frame is perfect and the picture turned out beautifully, You can see from the third image above that you can see all the details in the photo even in the plants displayed in the background. The frame is thick and sturdy yet looks elegant, and even though it is pretty large the frame is light weight. The framed print comes with a wire secured to the back which makes it easy to hang.

Having two children under the age of five & a cat ultimately means that the carpet is going to get dirty in one form or another sometime down the road, living in an apartment with tan carpets isn't a plus because you can clearly see juice,mud & dirt stains. When the rug arrived I was very excited to get it set up in my kids room, for the rugs size it was fairly light to carry by myself, after moving some of my daughters belongings from her room such as the dresser,bed,ect I put the carpet into place. The carpet unrolled very easy and was simple to put into place, all objects have the small "curl" after they have been rolled up for a long period of time to get rid of this I simply placed a heavy objects on all the corners for an hour so that there wouldn't be any edges sticking up.



The carpet covers up 98% of the space in my daughters room which is perfect because the large furniture covers the rest, I have to say that the photo of the carpet on their website does Not do this carpet justice it is much brighter in person. Above you can see the website photo on the right and my personal photo on the left as you can see the carpet is a lot brighter in person, This carpet looks great & feels great on your feet. I am a bit picky about my wall art so when I find a website that offers fun,bright & nice wall art or home decor I book mark it so I can come back and pick up a few things for my home. The decals arrived fast & in perfect condition inside of a round shipping tube to keep the decals from being smashed, I was excited to see how they looked in person & how well they worked. The decals are true to how they look in the photos online which is always a great thing to find out because a lot of items look different from the photos shown whether it is size,color,lighting,ect some items just disappoint but these items didn't. Since we live in an apartment & I can't technically stick things like wall decals to the wall I have come up with a different way to display them depending on the image I either put them into a nice photo frame or I will apply them to a semi-thick piece of construction paper or poster board & use a small piece of tape on the back to stick them to the walls. I find it helps keep them in perfect condition longer,Can be moved around more often & can be stored easily when not in use. The decals were easy to apply the peeled off the transfer paper easily & stick very well when you are applying it to the item you would like. My favorite part about wall decals is that it they don't have to go on the wall I have stuck mine on my daughters dresser,Designed her a fun kids table,& more there is an unlimited amount of ways you can use these decals. A major positive aspect about Curly Q is that the decals are all at low affordable prices keeping your wallet happy and your walls looking their best. Hello Canvas Review

I always enjoy looking for new art,photo frames & decor for my home so I never pass up an opportunity to get a chance at adding something I like to my collection. I was recently offered a chance to review a photo canvas from a company called Hello Canvas.

I was stunned with how fast my canvas arrived I wasn't expecting it to arrive for a few more days I came home from work & found it sitting in my bedroom my fiance had it all set up for me to decide where to place. For my review I received a 24x32 inch canvas print with my choice of photo,I decided on an adorable photo of my daughter at the park, Hello Canvas was very helpful during the ordering process. After the tough decision of what photo to use I sent it in an email for them to print to canvas, The lovely customer service representative named Jessica I worked with emailed me to let me know the image I sent was too small in order for the canvas to come out right I needed to send the original photo [which was on my mothers computer so it took a few days to get], I am very happy with the results.The canvas is sturdy,light weight,& made from thick material to keep your picture safe for years to come. My fiance thought the canvas looked too large at first but after rearranging our living room it fits right in with our other photos & it looks perfect. The ordering process is easy peasy & right now they have two great specials you can get a 12 x 16 Inch canvas for $65 or a 20 x 28 inch canvas for $79 a price that can't be beat for quality this good. Diamond Candles Review

I love candles but I do not get to buy them often,Why? Many times the candles I think smell nice are out of my price range but I found a website that makes the price of the candle seem like nothing, You may be wondering why that is & I am here to let you know. Diamond candles sells a variety of scented Soy candles each has a Mystery ring waiting inside that ranges in price from $5 to $10,000 which is a deal you can't beat along with the fun it brings.

For my review I was sent One Strawberry Bliss Candle,as soon as I knew the candle was shipped I was very excited for the candle to arrive because yes I mainly wanted to see how my ring would look,I knew that even if I didn't get a ring I liked I would still own a great new candle.The first thing I noticed once the candle was out of the box is it smells amazing even my hubby commented on how great the candle smelt. It took about an twenty minutes for the candle to burn down to the ring [Mine was almost at the very top so I didn't have as long of a wait time like others have had] my ring was a bit small for my finger & isn't quite my 'style' so I let my daughter use it for her dress up. The candle itself is worth the price,the candle is large,smells delicious & lasts for hours I have had mine lit five different nights for 5+ hours & there is still more than half of the candle left their website suggests that it can burn for 125-160 hours of fragrance which I believe is absolutely true. The only thing I could see about these candles that I don't really like is the fact that there isn't a way to pick a candle with a ring size,If you have a larger ring size & end up with a 5 or 6 then your forced to give the ring away. Over all I am very happy with my candle from Diamond rings & I would buy from them again I have mentioned their website to fellow candle lovers at work. Budget Gadgets Review

I am getting prepared for a long & relaxing weekend,My mother will be taking my daughter on a three day camping trip which will give me time to sort through all my old emails,clean the house & work on new items for my etsy shop on top of that I have Saturday-Tuesday up in which I will be doing various things for Fathers day & my Fiances birthday coming up.Today I wanted to share a review with you,as you all know part of being a blogger who does reviews & giveaways we always tell the truth both the good & bad though I hate the times I have to say something bad.

I recently had a chance to work with a company called Budget Gadgets on a review,For my review I received a Magic Kaleidoscope Colorful Star Night Light,On their website the night light looks wonderful I was excited to receive it the night light arrived fast which was a good sign,I had it all set up & ready to plug in everything seemed fine,Once plugged in the light only let off very little light which was a little disappointing which is when I realized the night light arrived broken,There is supposed to be a blue plastic ring locate around the top of the light that holds the top black circle with moon/star on it up so the light can shine through it but the blue ring was missing & the black circle was logged inside of the light,It was an easy fix though I took the black piece out & used black electric tape to secure the piece onto the light now the light works much better.

The Magic Kaleidoscope Colorful Star Night Light,Gives off a good amount of light for the size of the night light,The light also has two settings a white setting or a color setting which my daughter likes to switch on & off.Though the product arrived broken it was easy to fix,& like all companies it would also be sent back but I am a handy person so Id rather fix it then wait for it to be sent back & forth,That being said I would work with this company again.I enjoy using this product & it makes my Toddler happy so I am satisfied with the product.Budget Gadgets also offers cameras,chargers,& other products.****This was not a paid post and my honest opinion was used. Buying handmade items is not only much more personal than A store bought gift but they also last a lot longer than store made items because they aren't being pumped out by a machine that is programed to do so.I personally own a ton of handmade items including most of my makeup collection which I love to pieces.

The second shop I would like to present you with today is called OrlyDesigns Who makes Bird Sculptures & Ceramic wedding cake toppers,For my review I received Two birds sitting on a stone one of the birds is red & the other is blue,When this arrived at my house I was unsure what it was because of the packing it wasn't something I expected it was a rather cute gift box.Inside the sculpture was wrapped quite nicely though I think one of the birds did break off but it was an easy fix once I realized that it was in fact supposed to be attached to the stone itself.The birds are adorable & a great size the birds are small enough to fit into the palm of your hand.The birds are smooth & glossy the tail & beak is sculpted into a point but the tips are rounded off so they wont hurt if you touch them.I have enjoyed working with this seller.
