Cute Kawaii Masks from Blippo - A Review.

For the foreseeable future one of the changes that is seeming to stick is the usage of face masks when in public, shopping and working. A lot of the three layer masks are pretty boring, most of them are all the same shade of blue,where is the fun in that? A great alternative to the boring masks we normally get is  masks that have fun prints and designs on them! Today I will be sharing a company who makes a set of cute Kawaii face masks. 

Blippo is a Kawaii Shop who sells a number of adorable products and they are now offering these adorable masks that feature rainbows, stars, clouds and more. They come in a ten pack of disposable masks, they are pretty durable and don't necessarily need to be thrown away after one wear, if washed properly they can be used several times before needing to be thrown out.

The masks are made from a high-grade fabric, as stated on the back of their packaging they are for non-medical use which is the same as the fabric masks you'd buy in the store. I work in healthcare, and we are required to wear big face shields where I work over any type of masks that we wear, so I often wear one of these under my face shield because of how cute it is. Seeing in how I work in healthcare, I have access to the actual blue medical paper masks, they can range in quality just like any other type of mask out there, but I wanted to note that these cute Kawaii masks feel very similar to the masks we buy at work. They are sewn in a similar fashion, have the same type of mask layout when it comes to the design but the Kawaii masks are a little more comfortable on the ears and the material used is slightly thinner than some of the medical grade masks we buy. 

I think these are well made, they are surprisingly thick and have proved to be pretty durable, they are breathable while helping filter your air and most importantly they are comfortable. The ear loops don't hurt your ears, the material is soft and sits just right. If they are too large on you or your child they are easy to tie into a little knot to provide a better fit to your face. I like that the masks are large enough they cover part of your cheek as well, it always bugs me when you get a cute new mask but it hardly goes past your mouth area! The masks can't help if the sides of your mouth are exposed, so I really like the way these fit flush to the face.

The nose piece has a small piece of metal in it so you can bend it to fit your nose properly that way if you are a glasses user like me your glasses won't fog up on chilly days/in the morning which can be quite annoying. I like the little bag they come in as well because it is reseal able to it helps keep the rest of your masks clean. One of the things I like most about stationary is that it comes in a large assortment of deigns that fits all of you personal interests and it is a lot of fun to collect. I absolutely adore Kawaii stationary so you can imagine my excitement when I found Panda Q Stationery on Etsy. Panda Q Stationery sells a large assortment of pens, flake stickers,washi tape,note pads and lots more all at affordable prices.





I received the lovely chance to work with Panda Q Stationery on a review and a giveaway! For my review I received a cute blank note book, a bag of flake stickers and an ink pen. The notebook is interesting, it is cartoon is style so it looks like the smaller book opens but really it is one big book, and it doesn't have any cardboard backing along the spine. The notebook seems sturdy enough but I probably wouldn't suggest it for heavy usage projects instead just to jot notes in or doodle in due to the way the spine is, the notebook came with a cute paper ruler (no measurements included, this is to help line the paper if needed). The pen writes very well, it is smooth and it keeps the lettering small which is perfect for my weekly reminder binder so this pen has actually been moved to my purse so I can use it on a daily basis. The flake stickers were pretty cute, the backings are easy to get off and the coloring is great. Customer service is friendly and replies to messages quickly, shipping was speedy and everything was packaged in bubble wrap to keep it safe during transit. There are so many cute products in this shop that I know I am going to get myself into trouble come pay day because I want more of these pens for my reminder binder. Stop by their shop for weekly specials and deals, the current special is milk pens for $1 each.

Sweet Emii Creations Giveaway & Review!

Two of my favorite things is collecting things that reflect my interest and handmade items so when both of those combine it makes that item that much better. I recently came upon a charming etsy shop called Sweet Emii Creations that sells a variety of small plushes, prints, and more that are all equally cute and will make you say "Awww" out loud when you start looking through the shop. Emily the shop owner is a self-taught sculpture and craft lover who is currently going to school for animation and her unique designs and creative ideas really show in her work. Emily makes and sells earrings, charms, prints, tiny plush figures, cards, magnets, string artwork and more with many fun fandoms in mind such as MLP, Pokemon and Studio Ghibli.

Emily offers a variety of fun kawaii type products all of which are adorable in their own way, some I wanted myself, other products I thought my daughter would love so it was hard to choose which I would want to review. In the end I narrowed it down to the MLP Princess Luna tiny plush and the Toothless tiny plush and had Emily surprise me! As you can see from the photos above I was sent Princess Luna who is my favorite My Little Pony character (of course! Who else would it be?).

Each of the mini plushes sold by Sweet Emii Creations measure from 3 1/2- 5 1/2 inches in length, small enough to be a purse or pocket pal. Princess Luna is made from a very soft silky material with a tulle type material with the eyes and cutie mark embroidered on. There is a little stuffing in the belly of the plush and the head so there is a slight bit of weight to this to keep it from falling off a shelf or desk. The head doesn't move a whole lot but it will lift up slightly, you can't see it too well but she is wearing a moon cowl around her neck. Mini plushes start at $26 each one is handmade some of it is hand sewn and some is done by machine, over all this is a wonderful piece to add to any collection. Due to it's price I wouldn't suggest this as a toy for a young child instead it is more of a collectors piece and a very well made one. Shipping was quick and Princess Luna came neatly packaged with a business card and thank you note included. Craig Michael Scott Art & Design Review and Giveaway!

I grew up being a huge fan of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, I remember having a TMNT sleeping bag and square juice box cover at my grandmothers house for when I went to visit. I was excited when TMNT started making a come back and now my kids love those four tubular turtles. My son is a year and a half old, TMNT was one of the first shows he really connected with and "Turtles" was one of his first words, seeing how much he loves those four crazy turtles I wanted to find some art for his blank bedroom walls that reflect his likes. On my journey looking for bedroom art I came upon a etsy shop called Craig Michael Scott Art & Design. There were so many charming and sweet prints I didn't know where to start I want a dozen of the prints but the question is which do you buy first? After speaking with the store owner I received the chance to host a review and giveaway of his PreTMNT Inspired prints which feature all four turtles as toddlers doing various things such as eating pizza.




From the moment your prints arrive on your door you can tell that wonderful customer service, thoughtfulness and care were put into getting your package together. The prints arrive in a cute envelope with the stores logo picture, a business card and a note. For my review I received a set of  5" x 7" cards four features each Turtle on their own card and the last had all of them eating pizza together, I also received a set of TMNT inspired ACEO 3.5" x 2.5" Print to giveaway to a lucky reader. The prints were in a protective sleeve with a paper diving the cards from the cover card so they wouldn't stick and the smaller prints arrived in card sleeves to keep them protected. Each print is hand drawn by Craig Michael Scott and each print will make your heart melt, I absolutely love that he decided to make them more of a toddler/kid TMNT inspired art rather than keeping them as adults. The colors were vibrant, crisp and flows nicely through each print. I like the paper choice that was made when printing these out they are slightly more sturdy than regular photo paper.




The larger prints are $10 and the smaller prints are $4-$6 each a price that I would pay a hundred times over for this fantastic art work. If you are looking for a fun and unique gift for a birthday or Christmas gift this is the place to stop! He offers dozens of designs ranging from Star Wars to Superhero's a few of my favorites are shown above.

Shipping was fast and the necklace came wrapped perfectly to keep it protected, the necklace was wrapped in bubble wrap laid on a padded cushion in a box and the box was also bubble wrapped. The necklace looks just as cute in person as it does in the photos online which says a lot because we all know sometimes the final product looks nothing like the photo shown. The necklace is about 3" x 3" which is the perfect size for a necklace, I was worried at first as the photo on Rude and Reckless lead me to believe it was slightly bigger but I was pleased to find it was smaller than I expected. Toothless has a lot of detail put into him, the wings have lines to show each section of the wing, he has hands, feet and his tail with its "fix" Hiccup made for him along with a number of other details. The price of the necklace is $30 which includes the chain, you may be thinking this is a steep price but I think it is right on the dot. The necklace is custom made, packaged with care and looks great and the price is fitting. The shop owner is sweet and professional!

Have you ever bought or received a item with the intention of giving it to someone else but found it too cute and ended up keeping it? I had that exact situation happen to me recently, I found a small company called Mark Poulin Jewelry who creates adorable jewelry,key chains & more from his own drawings. I recently received a Tyrannosaurus Rex Dinosaur Pewter Necklace & Dinosaur Key chain for a review and immediately fell in love with them once I opened the package.



My package arrived quickly and was packaged perfectly it even came with bonus goodies that I was not expecting. Opening the package I found two adorable greeting cards with envelopes which will be used I am always sending out Birthday cards,Thank you cards and more, There were also two small brown boxes each hand stamped with a cute design. In box number one I found the Dinosaur key chain and a small button, the second package contained the Tyrannosaurus Rex necklace and another button. The super cute hand cast pewter Dinosaur necklace is about a 3/4 inch tall and 3/4 inch wide. It hangs from a really long 20" antiqued chain with a lobster clasp. The key chain is a white bronze dog tag key chain has a brontosaurus and a shooting star on it. I had the intention of giving the necklace to a friend of mine who loves all things T-rex but after seeing how cute and well made the necklace is I don't think I can bring myself to do it.



The necklace is light weight on a small dainty chain that matches the Tyrannosaurus Rex pendent perfectly, the dino has a lot of little details including a stripped belly,spotted back, little toes and an eye ball. The pendant was cast with care there are no rough or sharp edges on this dino everything has been smoothed out and polished I am highly impressed with both the items I received. I don't typically wear jewelry but when I do I prefer it to be on the smaller side so this necklace is perfect for me. The Key chain is well made itself it is the perfect weight for a key chain and having a lobster clasp attached allows you to easily move the dinosaur key chain onto your own set of keys.
