Chewy.com - Greenies Dental Treats Review!

**This was not a paid post. My honest opinions were used, they are solely my own & they may vary from others. The products mentioned below have been provided by Chewy.com for the review free of charge.**

Each month I receive the chance to work with Chewy to review and item or two from their website, when the box comes is the pets favorite time of the month. Last month one of the two items I picked out was the Greenies Variety Pack Regular Dental Dog Treats which came in three flavors - Fresh,Original and Blueberry.

I like that these treats are specially formulated to help your dogs dental hygiene, the treats have a unique texture which fights plaque & tartar to keep their teeth clean and help keep their gums healthy. The blueberry treat smelled almost good enough to eat, and hey during a zombie apocalypse who knows maybe you'd be willing to eat one however I choose not too so I can't say how they taste all I can tell you is they smell like people food.

Some dogs can be a bit picky when it comes to treats so having three different flavor options is nice because if your dog doesn't like one he might like the other two. Thankfully my mom's dog Sulley Monster isn't picky when it comes to treats and will gobble up anything given to him so he was more than happy to be the product tester for these treats.

Chewy.com sells this pack of Greenies for $33.99 and every time I have ordered something through them shipping is always super fast. I enjoyed this product because the dog thinks he is getting an extra special treat but what he doesn't know is it is helping his teeth as he eats it.

True Chews from Chewy.com!

**This was not a paid post. My honest opinions were used, they are solely my own & they may vary from others. The products mentioned below have been provided by Chewy for the review free of charge.**

The pets in my family absolutely love that we get to work with Chewy on almost a monthly basis because it means they get treats and goodies. I spoil my family’s pets as much as I spoil my kids, I grab toys from the store, get items for reviews and more so every time I head over to my mom’s the animals look for treats. Each month I have an opportunity to review two items from Chewy.com which provides a large assortment of pet products (and books/coloring books for their humans).

This month one of the products I received is from a brand called True Chews who sells a selection of natural dog treats. I selected the Premium jerky cuts made with real steak in a 10oz bag (it also comes in a 20oz bag).  Here is the description from the website "Because only the best will do for your best friend, reward her with True Chews Premium Jerky Cuts with Real Sirloin Steak Dog Treats. They’re made with U.S.-sourced beef for a high-protein jerky treat that satisfies and nourishes in every bite. Since they contain zero corn, wheat, soy or anything artificial, you can truly feel good about treating your pal every day. Make your canine companion’s journey a little better each day with a delicious, premium-quality treat you can trust because it’s made right here in the USA using only the finest natural ingredients"

The treats look just like beef jerky you’d buy at the store for yourself only larger, if they weren’t in a dog treat bag you could easily get them confused with actual beef jerky. The smell wasn’t bad either, some dog treats and dog good can smell horrible but this had a normal smell to it. Sulley Monster was quite happy with his treats, and was very anxious to the point where he almost wouldn’t sit for photos.

This bag of treats retails for $12.99 which may seem a bit high, but seeing as how they used real steak the price is justifiable plus there is a decent amount of treats in the bag enough to last a week or so depending on how often you give your dogs treats. We generally only give him treats if we are trying to get him to do a trick or during training so this bag will last us a week which is pretty good for him. As always their shipping was super fast so there wasn't a large wait time between when our order was placed and when it arrived to our front door, I can always count on them to be on time.

Chewy.com Review!

****This was not a paid post and my honest opinion was used. The opinions are solely my own and may vary from others. The products mentioned below have been provided by Chewy.com for the review free of charge.****

Considering that we get a box from Chewy almost monthly to review with our pooch you would think he would be used to having to take pictures by now! He is slowly coming around to having to snap a few shots before getting his treat but you can see from the look on his face below that he isn't all too happy about it. In our latest box from Chewy we receive Purina Beyond Cutlets Chicken Dog Treats & a Nutro Kitchen Classics Loaf Variety Pack wet dog food for Dogs.

Nutro Kitchen Classics Dog Food: This comes with two different flavored dog foods, they are grass fed lamb with brown rice & slow cooked chicken with rice and oatmeal. The price isn't too bad good on this set, you get six 12.5 oz cans for just $10.79 making the cans $1.80 each. The dogs looked like they enjoyed the food, they didn't leave any behind and they didn't seem overly picky about eating it. Looks wise it looks similar to other dog food brands and smelled about the same as well.

Purina Beyond Cutlets Chicken Dog Treats: I don't usually like starting reviews off with the negative of the product first but yuck! These treats stink.  I know they are meant for dogs and that they shouldn't appeal to our senses but not all dog products smell that bad but this wasn't one of them. On a more positive note each treat was pretty large and thick vs being thin and easily broken into two. The dogs loved these and couldn't get enough of them! You can see how he is giving me the stink eye in the photo above, he just wants the treat instead of taking photos. This sells for $9.49 on their website.

Chewy.com Review!

****This was not a paid post and my honest opinion was used. The opinions are solely my own and may vary from others. The products mentioned below have been provided by Chewy.com for the review free of charge.****

Our pets are just as spoiled as our kids so anytime we get the chance to review pet products it is hard to say no, each month I get a chance to select an item or two from a list of products from Chewy.com to review with my pets and they love it when the box arrives. This month I received two products, one will be featured on this post and the other will be posted in a few days. The first product up is the Brown's Tropical Carnival Play Barn with Hay Small Animals Hideout 8oz.

This animal hideout is precious and is sure to make you smile when you see your small
critter playing in it. This is great for rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas, hamsters and gerbils. I tested this product out with my two ferrets, it will be an occasional treat for them because they love diving and hiding under blankets, etc so I knew they would love this as well, I did shake out a lot of the fine loose pieces from the box before letting them play in it. When you think 8oz it doesn't seem like it is a lot of material but since hay is pretty light this little barn was jam packed! It was hard for them to get into at first so I pulled all of the hay out and placed it inside of a box for them to play in and put the barn to the side for them to play in as well, they had a blast playing in both boxes. Can you spot the ferret in the hay above?

The Brown's Tropical Carnival Play Barn with Hay Small Animals Hideout sells for $7.52 on Chewy.com and not only is the hay fun for your small critters to hide or play in but the barn itself is printed with non-toxic vegetable inks so it is alright if your little guy/gal wants to chew on the barn.

Pork Chomps Review & Giveaway!

****This was not a paid post and my honest opinion was used. The opinions are solely my own and may vary from others. The products mentioned below have been provided by
Pork Chomps for the review & giveaway free of charge.****

My mother has three large dogs who all love treats and toys so we are always looking for new products that are durable and long lasting because these three go through toys like they are going out of style. I received a wonderful assortment of goodies for these three from a company called Pork Chomps, they sent us three amazing bags stuffed full of treats that suited the dogs based off the information I gave on their sizes and likes. I am posting this post a bit late and I am grateful that Pork Chomps is very understanding about it, sadly shortly after we received these products and tested them out we had to put one of the dogs down (the black one shown below) she was old and sick, so she is in a better place now but it was a hard week. Before she went she had the chance to try the yummy treats Pork Chomps sent and she loved them.

When I had spoken with Pork Chomps about a review and giveaway I provided them with some information on the dogs and was expecting just a small package of treats, boy was I wrong! They sent us three reusable bags packed full of goodies, each one had a number of treats, a ball, a Frisbee, a stuffed squeaky dog, and a shirt for the humans. What we liked best about these treats is that the chews are rawhide free, Jack the golden old man you see above has a sensitive stomach which can't handle rawhide and it will make him sick. These are made from pork skin which is easy to digest and didn't upset his stomach which was fantastic and also means we will be buying more of these treats since he isn't allowed to have a lot of the treats the other dogs have.

The large chews you seen above lasted about two to three days before they were completely gone which is pretty good since the youngest of the three can destroy toys in less than an hour given the chance. All three dogs loved these products and would really perk up if you went to give them one of these treats. I like that these treats didn't leave little pieces all over the floor to be picked up and that the treat itself is a lot softer than the tradition rawhide chews but also still sturdy and thick. They are scent free so you don't have to worry about any lingering scent on your hands or on your pooch. All of us are quite happy with these products and think you should check them out as well!

PRIZE ALERT:
Five lucky winners will each receive a prize pack for their dog. Prize will vary depending on the size of your dog.

This giveaway is open to US residents only!

Reggie Box Review & Giveaway!

****This was not a paid post and my honest opinion was used. The opinions are solely my own and may vary from others. The products mentioned below have been provided by Reggie Box for the review & giveaway free of charge.****

To many of us pets are like family, if you grow up with them it is like having a furry little brother or sister or it is like having a little furry baby. I enjoy spoiling my pets as much as I do my children so I wanted to host a fun giveaway for all the dog owners out there (Don't worry I am working on something for the cats too!). I recently received a fun dog box from a company called Reggie Box. Reggie Box is a monthly subscription box for your dog,  They send out a monthly box that contains both treats and toys for your pooch. You can buy a month subscription for $30 a month or a 12 month subscription for $20 a month.

Before my box was shipped out I spoke with a Tammy Masau who is the Vice President of Reggie Box and she asked me a few questions about the pups who would be receiving the box to insure the right box was sent out based on the size of my pups. They offer three different boxes one for small dogs, medium dogs and Large dogs and each one has products that are suited more for each weight, for example would you want to get a small dog bone that is best for a Chihuahua if you have a Great Dane? No, so they make it easy to get something your dog will enjoy. My box arrived in a timely manner and the customer service was wonderful.

The box I received was for medium dogs, it contained three toys and three different types of treats. The dogs could tell right away there was something waiting for them in the pop and were excited for me to open it. As you can see from the photos above the dogs were very happy with their Reggie Box, two of them wanted to eat all the treats and the other wanted to hoard the toys that came in the box. All of the products included in the Reggie Box are made in the USA and are hand selected by the Reggie Box team based off the quality of the products. I am quite happy with the selection I received, the toys and dental chew were high quality which is great because the little toy thief above usually chews everything to death in a matter of days and these are still holding strong. If it were up to these three mischief  (one isn't pictured he is camera shy), they would eat all the treats in one sitting but we won't allow that so they get some here and there for being good. To be completely honest the little oatmeal ball type treat they sent would pass for people food it actually looked pretty good!

PRIZE ALERT:
One lucky winner is going to win the box pictured above for their pooch!
This giveaway is for US Residents only!
