I See Me! Holiday Book Review!

Every year for Christmas I  get a ornament made for my kids that has their name on it because it is one of our traditions to celebrate the holidays, this year I will have something extra special to share with them during the weeks leading up to Christmas. Growing up I was a big book worm and now my kids are big readers as well, they like reading by themselves but they also like when we all read together so when I received the chance to review a customizable book called "My 12 Days of Christmas (Family Edition)" by I See Me! I was very excited. The book I received is just one of many Christmas themed customizable books they offer, you can see their whole line by clicking Here, the books range from $29.99-$39.99.



The book covers the whole twelve days of Christmas from start to finish the only difference from the version you know and this book is that it can be customized with your families last name and it can include any first names you would like. The cover, dedication page and a few spots inside will have your last name. With the names you provide they each get added onto each page for example if you have two children the first page will have "One the first day of Christmas Mickey Mouse..." and the next will have Donald Duck and back and forth until the last few pages which will have both names, the names are also added on various places on the actual illustrations in the book, my fingers are covering up the names below but you can see how beautiful the colors and illustrations in the book look.

My kids love seeing and reading their names in this book, it is sure to be a family favorite for many years to come. The book is thin but seems like it will be able to last for several years before you see any real wear and tear on it, the cover and the pages have a gloss finish to them which looks quite lovely. Each page is whimsical and eye catching, they manage to sneak the names you provide them onto every page and no two pages are the same each one will have the name in a different spot in a different font. I am very happy with this book and I am so glad there are companies out there like I See Me! who offer products that can be customized like this. They also offer books for other occasions, puzzles, stickers and more that can all be custom printed.

Glitter Wishes by Kara Giveaway & Review!

My daughters birthday isn't until December but I wanted to get a head start on making plans because it will be here before I know it and if I'm not prepared then I will go crazy from last minute planning. I asked my daughter what she would like as here theme this year and she decided on Frozen which I think is a great theme for her Winter birthday and I know there are lots of Frozen party supplies available but I wanted to search around for some unique party supplies you won't find walking into Party City. The smallest details can really make a party pop, up until recently I hadn't really thought about the birthday candles I always just bought the regular numbers from the grocery store. I found a great etsy shop called Glitter Wishes by Kara who sells custom designed candles to fit any birthday theme.





I want to start by saying that Kara's customer service is fast and quite friendly, I had requested that she ship the candle to where it's delivery would fall between Thur-Saturday as I am home during the day and was afraid the candle might melt if it was left in the AZ heat. She happily sent it so it would arrive on Friday. As you can see in the photo above the candle was neatly wrapped and came in a wax parchment paper to prevent it from getting stuck to the tissue paper. The candle looks great it is completely full of glitter, gem stones and has a large snow flake. My daughter was ecstatic when she seen the candle and I think it will go perfectly with her other party decorations. The candle is large and will stick out well sitting on top of a cake, I will be keeping this to put in her keep sakes box and think it would be a fun idea to buy more customized candles in the future to really tie the party theme together. The candle I received is well decorated and will hold up to being handled a lot on the birthday party day.

All candles range from $8.50 to $17 for double digits, yes it might seem a bit high for a candle but taking into consideration it is custom decorated to fit the party theme and can be kept for a future keepsake I think the price is very reasonable, some of the sets such as the "80's" candle would make a big impact for someone who might not be receiving a big party and will show you went the extra mile to really make their big day special. Wantable Review

Just like with makeup no two makeup subscriptions are alike, I recently stumbled upon a subscription company called Wantable who creates personalized makeup, accessories, and intimates boxes to fit each woman perfectly. I received a wonderful opportunity to review one of their boxes, I had my choice to pick one of their three boxes I decided to go with the makeup box. The sign up process was easy and fun to fill out it is the most in depth sign up process I have been through, some subscription boxes have you pick out just things such as "Which design do you like best below" and give you one of their boxes based on that. The Wantable subscription box goes one step further by asking you what kind of products you like using a gauge on the site for "Like" "Dislike" and "Neutral" it then goes over each item asking what shades you like, if you prefer liquid, gel or liquid for eyeliners and eye shadow and much more. I couldn't wait to see what they sent me based off what I gauged my likes and dislikes at.



The shipping was speedy and I couldn't believe how well packaged this subscription box is. I am used to received subscription boxes with everything just thrown in the box and shipped many don't include any packing peanuts or cushion but my Wantable box had two layers of cushion keeping the makeup from bouncing around the box and protecting them from damage in case of an accident. I am very happy and impressed with the selection I was sent to review, I received the following products; Face Stockholm eyelashes #2, MiA BelleZZa ultimate eye pencil in Dark brown, Sorme 'Get a brow gel 937 Dark Brown', A Micheal Marcus prime foundation brush, Micheal Marcus Lipstick in the color 'Debbie' and a sample of Echo Via Organic body oil. The subscription box is $36 a month with a subscription or $40 a month without, The products I received have a retail value of $93.50 so I would 100% say the price is worth the products you receive in the package.



All of the products included in my box are products I would personally buy while shopping for cosmetics, their detailed sign up process did a wonderful job pairing me up with the perfect products. There are too many great items in this box to choose a favorite but if I absolutely had to I would say the Micheal Marcus prime foundation brush is my favorite the bush is the perfect size and super soft. Next in line favorite wise would be the Micheal Marcus Lipstick in the color 'Debbie' and the Face Stockholm eyelashes #2, The Debbie lipstick is a lovely shade it is somewhere in the scale between Red and Pink, It isn't a shocking red but it does give a very lovely "Pop" of color to your lips without over doing it.On special occasions I like wearing false eyelashes, as a mom of two small kids I normally stick with a simple makeup routine but on Date nights, Concerts, Holidays, ect I like to add false eye lashes to my look to give it more of a vibrant look I haven't used these yet but they look like they will work wonders. I have been working on my eye brows more, like many women I never thought they made a huge difference I kept them well groomed but nothing more than that until I realized filling them in can really change a look, I don't do it every day but like to do it as often as possible so I was very happy they included the eye brow items.
