It is always crazy that the first half of the year seems to drag on, yet the last half goes by in the blink of an eye. It is almost hard to believe it is now December & the holidays are just around the corner. For those of you who have been to my blog before, you know that a new month means it is time for a new beauty & the book giveaway bundle along with a mini update about myself and what I've been up to blogging wise.
November was overall a good month aside from one or two negatives, I will share the high points here. We went on vacation to California which was a lot of fun & very much needed, it has been a while since we've been on vacation. I will be sharing some of the awesome spots we visited here on my blog, if you are thinking of visiting Cali any time soon feel free to check out those posts. The first weekend of November we went to a mini anime market & cosplay event, we were excited as my husband won the costume contest. (He says we won though as I did the makeup for his cosplay). I started prepping for the holidays and we put up all of our decorations on the first of December. I love this time of the year & seeing all of our neighbors putting up their lights and décor. This upcoming month we will be attending several holiday events and more that I will be sharing here with all of you.

Not doing anything too exciting this year as finances are tight. We have already got the decorations up inside and out which I love.I love the lights at Christmas so we will do our usual Christmas light tour. My favorite item in the giveaway is the makeup brushes with a the Sesame Street theme. My favorite hairbrush has a Wonder Women theme so I guess I am a child at heart. My favorite memory from this year was taking a Route 66 cross-country family trip in a campervan. We flew from Seattle to Las Vegas to pick up our Escape Campervan that had the most awesome sea monster on the side of it, then drove Route 66 to St. Louis then to visit my parents for a week in Pennsylvania then we took my mom to NYC and did the Statue of Liberty thing. It was really special because my dad died last month. We got to spend a whole week at his house this summer. We are usually posted overseas and I don't get to see him much, my daughter had only met him once. Getting a week with her grandpa to get to know him was really, really special. I'm so glad we did it.
I am most excited about the book. I have become a reader of everything. I love getting lost in stories.

Without a doubt, the most cherished moment this year was when my little one came into the world.
