Midnight Scoop Giveaway & Review!

It never seems to fail that after the first time you open a container of ice cream it will immediately harden up when put back into the fridge which makes it harder to scoop the next time you pull it out. There are tips and tricks you can use to get the ice cream out easier without bending or breaking a spoon or small scoop such as heating up the scoop before using it or putting the container in the microwave for ten seconds, but what if you didn't have to do any of that?

There is a company I came upon recently called Midnight Scoop that sells the best ice cream scoop I have come across. I was recently sent one of their silver scoops, both my fiance and I were quite impressed not only with the scoop but with the product packaging as well. The scoop arrives in a fancy black box that looks like something you would gift a fine wine or whisky in and it was padded on the inside to keep the scoop in place during shipping. The scoop itself is massive and is one solid piece so you don't have to worry about the scoop coming off of the handle.

The scoop has a unique shape to it so it almost comes to a pointed tip and it has two raised sides to help basically cut into the ice cream even when it does harden up. This scoop made getting the ice cream out a breeze even the second and third time we opened the ice cream tub, the handle end is pretty thick so it has a little weight to it which helps scoop out the ice cream. It is 100% stainless steel, and it is dishwasher safe. This scoop retails for $35 per scoop and is one you will never have to replace again. I am quite happy with this scoop and look forward to using it when we get ice cream.
