UpCart Review!

**This was not a paid post. My honest opinions were used, they are solely my own & they may vary from others. The products mentioned below have been provided by UpCart for the review free of charge.**

Moving can be quite a pain in the butt if you are having to move everything by hand, and that goes double for if you are having to move into or out of an apartment higher than the first floor using only stairs. Most moving trucks come with a standard furniture dolly but as we all know they can get in the way and due to their size isn't always the best option for use. I recently saw an infomercial for a product called the UpCart and it looked pretty neat so I figured why not try it out. I was sent the "UpCart Original" to try out for a review.

The UpCart is an all-terrain stair climber that can hold up to 200lbs, it is specially designed to fold up for easy storage and the way the wheels are designed it makes going up and down the stairs a breeze.I like that the wheels and even the handle break down to make this smaller so you can store it in your car, closet, etc without it taking up much room and it doesn't weight a ton either so you can carry it one handed without any issues. I found this extremely easy to unfold and fold back up when I needed to use it, even if you aren't carrying something heavy this would be perfect for moving multiple boxes at once. You can even use it to bring those big water cooler jugs into the house instead of carrying them all the way. The wheels are spaced out evenly enough I don't see any rocks or small objects getting caught in them and they don't seem to pick up a lot of dirt/hair either when rolling around on the ground. The UpCart Original retails for $89.95 and they sell other upgrades along with accessions like baskets to make your cart even better. This one little cart is going to make moving and other activities so much easier, we can't wait to use it more often! I plan to use it to bring all the Christmas decorations into the house once the holiday gets closer since I have several boxes of lights and ornaments this will make bringing them all into the house one trip instead of five like it normally takes.

Scrigit Scraper Giveaway & Review!

****This was not a paid post and my honest opinion was used. The opinions are solely my own and may vary from others. The products mentioned below have been provided by Scrigit Scraper for the review & giveaway free of charge.****

Being the mom of the house I do 90% of the cleaning which means I am always scrubbing and cleaning up messes the kids have made, sometimes those messes don't want to come out from in-between the counter tiles with just a rag so I have to use something else. I don't like using my nails because they break easily and using a butter knife removes some of the grout, I was recently introduced to a wonderful product called Scrigit Scraper which is now my go to product when I have a stubborn piece of food or paint in the corner of the base board, in the tub or on the counter.  What is a Scrigit Scraper? Here is a little information on it from their website "The pocket-sized Scrigit Scraper is a versatile cleaning tool that provides a quick, safe and convenient alternative to fingernails and other types of scrapers as a way to remove small amounts of common substances from from flat and curved household surfaces, such as dishes, kitchen and bathroom counter tops and floors."

This product is wonderful for scraping sticky bar codes from the bottom of glass cups and the left over wax in candles plus a number of other wonderful uses while cleaning, or crafting. I love re-using my candle holders once the candle is gone, I use them to hold change, hair ties, makeup brushes and more. Getting the candle wax out is always a pain, I normally use a butter knife but it doesn't always do that great of a job and it doesn't do a good job getting the bar-code sticker off the bottom so I decided to use a Scrigit Scraper to see how well it worked vs. other house-hold  scraper tools. As you can see from the photos above the scraper has two sides one is a flat edge scraper and the other is a rounded edge scraper (which is my personal favorite side to use), and it is pretty long so it reaches all the way down into the candle holder without a problem. The rounded edge scraper made removing the wax from the candle easy peasy as you can see from the photos below, it was also a big help with removing the bottom tag. After removing all of the wax and the bottom sticker I was only left with a little bit of the residue from the sticker which was easily washed off with a little warm water and soap, now I have a perfectly clean and brand new holder for all of my eye liners. The Scrigit Scraper can be used for an unlimited amount of things, I have also used this to clean the edges around my tub, on the counter in the kitchen, getting stickers off the tile floor, and more! They are very handy to have around the house and can be purchased either as a set of two or in a package of five, you can purchase them directly from Amazon. They offer $1 off every 2 2-packs of Scrigit Scrapers purchased on Amazon the code can be found on their product page. This product is sturdy and seems like it is going to last for quite some time to come, I look forward to seeing everything I can get done with these scrapers while saving my nails from damage.

Prize Alert:
One Lucky winner is going to win a pack of Scrigit Scraper tools and a $10 Amazon gift card.

KAMsnaps GIVEAWAY & Review

Lets keep the craft spirit going with another Craft related giveaway/post.I absolutely love crafts so when I was offered a chance to try out a new tool that will help me make new Items I was very excited to try it out.Recently I worked with a wonderful company called KAMsnaps on a review & giveaway.KAMsnaps carries snap colors to match Fabrite PUL, bumGenius and gDiapers (and we have tutorials on how to replace the Velcro on them with snaps),They are also exclusive sellers of engraved Ooga Booga snaps. For my review I was sent some black Snaps,Black star snaps & A .I tested out making a small change purse which turned out great,I have also used it to fix other small purses & cases that have broke in the past, but that's not all you can do you can also use the snaps to make Eco Friendly cloth diapers which are loved by many parents all over the world.

If you check out their website they have many Tutorials showing you how to make an assortment of products,I will post part of the Snap Wallet,I would post the whole thing but it is way too long but you can visit Also cut out some interfacing slightly smaller than the fabric cause you don't wanna sew over it, just makes things harder.Iron on the interfacing to one of your fabrics (doesn't matter which one, I haven't found that it makes any difference)Now, put the two pieces together, right sides facing each other, and sew around the whole rectangle. The trick is to start sewing in the MIDDLE of one of the short end Then bring it back around and stop where the lines are. Trust me, this is a really good trick. Now cut off the corners, it's not vital, but is an old trick of my mom's and I just do it anyhow Now turn the thing right side out.. it LOOKS scary here, but not for long.Use a pen/chopstick/whatever is handy to poke out the corners so its nice and sharp. It tucks in nice and neatly, and you now iron over the whole thing which creases the hole and makes it look perfect!!Now sew across that seam with the hole. Now's a good time to attach your label if you have one.Fold it like so.You want to fold it in about 3 inches. This will be where you stash all your moolah,Want to read the rest? Visit their tutorial HERE I enjoyed working with this product it was fun & easy to use,The tutorials are easy to follow & I look forward to testing out more of them. The KAMsnap customer service was fast & friendly I recommend this company to any crafter or home maker looking for a new easy project to make in your spare time they even offer free samples of cute snaps with your order.****This was not a paid post and my honest opinion was used. The opinions are solely my own and may vary from others.Products were Provided by KAMsnaps for the Review & Giveaway****
