Plum Paper Planner Review + Giveaway!!

**This was not a paid post. The products mentioned below have been provided by Plum Paper for the review & giveaway free of charge however my honest opinions were used. The opinions expressed below are solely my own & they may vary from others.**

I like to keep organized lists because I am not a person who is able to remember all of the important dates, appointments, etc that I have through out the month off the top of my head. When looking for new planners to use I like to look for planners that offer a great layout and plenty of space to create to do lists, write out event information and notes. I recently came upon a company called Plum Paper who offers a selection of planners, notebooks and more that can all be customized.

I was offered the chance to review one of their twelve month planners and was able to use their website to create the perfect planner for me. The website is very simple to navigate, the first step is just deciding on which size & layout you'd like, I went with the 7" x 9" planner with the notes and dates layout. If you are unsure about any of the options they have it to where you can preview everything before making your final decision which is a fantastic site feature. Next you'll pick out the cover design you want, they offer nine different sections such as floral and repeat shapes with over seventy designs to select from. The front cover can be customized several different ways, you can add a photo or text. For my cover I went with the turquoise butterfly pattern with the year in the top corner and added a Disney quote to the bottom.

Next up in the process is customizing the interior of your planner! You'll be able to adjust the layout of the pages, select the month you'd like your planner to start/end in and select the binding you want. The last step in the creating process is to select add-on pages if you'd like them, they offer a large variety of extra pages including to do lists, wedding planning pages, meal plan pages, budget planner and tons more. I opted for the to do list pages and a blog pages section for my planner.

My planner arrived significantly quicker than I expected, considering that several aspects of the planner were customized. The cover is pretty sturdy on it's own being both water proof and tear proof, but to add an extra level of insurance they also included a clear plastic cover on the front and the back of the planner to protect it from harm. For being a pretty hefty planner (about two inches thick due to the add-ons I selected) it is surprisingly light and easy to bring with me on a day to day basis. Each month starts off with a section to write goals, birthdays, events, and things to remember followed by a lined page for notes. It also includes a calendar for the month, plus each week has it's own section of pages for more notes and reminders. I do wish I had selected a different add-on instead of picking the blogging section because although it is extremely helpful I have a separate book I like keeping my blogging notes in and I don't see myself using this section as much, but that was my own mistake not Plum Paper. For the planner I selected and the add-ons I selected the total of my planner came out to $47.50, the planner itself is a base price of $32 and the add-on's range in price from $3 to $12.50. I've had several planners in the past but they usually end up torn up or dirty because I am constantly carrying it around with me, but I don't see that happening with this planner because of how well made everything is. I am very happy with this planner and I look forward to using it over the next year.

One Love Paper Co. Giveaway & Review!

**This was not a paid post. My honest opinions were used, they are solely my own & they may vary from others. The products mentioned below have been provided by One Love Paper Co. for the review & giveaway free of charge.**

I usually keep pretty busy between home life, work, my daughters school and my blog so my mind is usually on full speed thinking about a million things at once which can lead to forgetting things from time to time so keeping a planner with a list of things to do is very helpful. I was recently sent a Inspired year planner by a company called One Love Paper Co. and it is fantastic!

This planner is filled with pages designed to help you plan and track your goals on a month to month basis, and offers activities to help you focus on creating a balance in your life. Activity pages include freewritting exercises, shade in graphs, Goal pages and more. Every three months you will find a new goal setting section to help you focus on short term goals, plus for each week there is also a small "goals" section on the week's page itself and there is a new inspiring quote each week. The quote for this week is "Your vision will become clear only when you look into your heart who looks outside, dreams. Who looks inside awakens." - Carl Jung.

One the week to week pages you will find sections for Sunday to Saturday, the Mon-Fri sections have small spots that show 7am to 8pm so you can schedule your day but time if you would like. I personally don't need the times so I just use it as a basic note keeper of tasks I need to do for the day.Under the times section there is more note taking space that is un- numbered which is nice for people who like to keep a lot of notes, like making lists or have a lot to do on a particular day. My planner covers from Jan 2017-June 2018 and the back includes several blank lined pages for notes.

I really like the type of paper they used for this planner, it is thin enough it doesn't make the planner ridiculously thick yet the paper is thick enough it wont' tear just by being turned several times. This planner is the perfect size for keeping on my desk so I can balance my blog and home life without missing anything important.

Denise Albirght Studio Review & Giveaway!

****This was not a paid post and my honest opinion was used. The opinions are solely my own and may vary from others. The products mentioned below have been provided by Denise Albirght Studio for the review & giveaway free of charge.****

It is very crazy to say but 2017 is almost here! Which means it is time for those who set new years resolutions to start planning and it also means it is time to get a new calendar. One of my new years resolutions is to keep better track of shopping lists, appointments and other important dates. I have a small pocket book I keep in my purse but it doesn't have a lot of writing space so I was very excited to receive the chance to work with Denise Albirght Studio on a review and giveaway of their reminder binder.

I received their 17~month Reminder Binder which has August 2016 to December 2017. This is a nice thick planner which has a metal ringed spine which I love because the books that are paper and simply sealed or stapled together start to fall apart after a while of being opened all the time and it won't happen with this binder. The front of the binder has a 'stock it pocket' where you can store extra binder stickers, coupons, notes, etc that you want to keep safe and store for later. There is also three pages of various stickers when you first open the binder, it has 69 different stickers and each one has 2-21 stickers of each. I love that each month starts out with four empty boxes, two are for notes and two are for making check lists, which is followed by a calendar of that month with boxes to write in and a long note section on the side.

Each week shows Monday thru Sunday with plenty of space to write in daily activities, appointments, or place fun stickers to show your weekly activities. There is also a check list, a note section and the previous month/current month/next month calendar at the end of each week to really help you keep track of your busy life. The very end of the book has several list sheets that have easy tear seems so you can write out a list and take it with you and it also has a "Dates to remember" section along with several contact list pages with another 'stock it pocket' in the back. Denise Albirght Studio also offers tons of fun binder stickers for you to use including First day of school, lunch date, No school, Work out, Birthday stickers and more! I really like this reminder binder and think it will be a huge help in the coming months. At first I was blind and didn't notice the two pockets and all day long I kept thinking how perfect it would be if it had a pocket or small folder to put things in and when I got home from work is when I noticed it did in fact come with two pockets. These binders sell for $24.95 and additional stickers start at $8.99 and she has dozens of stickers for your binder.

PRIZE ALERT:
Three lucky winners will each win the following,A Gift Set including:

(1) Reminder Binder® Planner
(1) Busy Mom Sticker Set
(1) Every Gal Sticker Set

This is open to US Residents only!  Please remember if you DO NOT leave a comment on this blog post as your mandatory entry into the giveaway then all of your entries will be void. Doing the Daily entries will increase your chance of winning. Winners have 72 hours to respond to the notification email!
