December/January Creepy Crate!

The Creepy Crate this time around was packed with so much & the book was so big the box almost didn't want to open. Creepy Crate is a true crime & horror themed bi-monthly subscription. Each crate typically has five or six physical items alongside one digital gift, you can purchase a single box for $39.99 or subscribe for 3 to 6 boxes at a time to receive a bit of a discount on the boxes.

One of the things I like about this subscription box is being able to learn about new books, old cold cases & horror movies I didn't know about. This time around I know three references out of the six products! This crate includes a "Witches & their hunters" 2023 calendar which features a number of real life witches and with hunters from various points in time. A Black Phillip mug, which is something I think my brother will really like so I will be gifting it to him. A keychain featuring the murder castle of H.H Holmes.

Also included was a Jack the ripper tee shirt, a copy of a book called "The Red Widow" & a digital version of the book "The Murder of Dr. Chapman". When it comes to the shirts included in these crates, they are soft & comfortable but I wish some of the shirts were black instead of white as I never wear white clothing. I took a look through the calendar & they have a little bit of information of each person that is featured for that month, It is always so crazy learning more about when there were real witch hunts. Creepy Crate is a True Crime and Horror themed subscription box that sends out shipments bi-monthly. Ever crate has a guaranteed hard or soft cover box in it along with an Ebook plus 4-5 physical products that can range from clothing to houseware. Many of the products included in the crates are Creepy Crate Exclusive items meaning you can't purchase them anywhere else. A single box can be purchased for $39.99 which you can order one at a time or prepay for your subscription through out the year, at the moment they are offering a free box with an annual subscription so you get seven crates for the price of six.

🦋 Non-Horror Fans! I know not everyone is a fan of horror movies or true crime, so if you'd still like to comment on this post but aren't into spooky things, tell me what your favorite non-spooky movie is!

Creepy Crate October/November Review!

All of the horror/spooky/Halloween fans out there might be a little sad that Halloween is over, but that doesn't mean you can't have some surprise scares through out the year. Creepy Crate is a Horror & True Crime themed subscription box that ships out bi-monthly, in each crate you'll receive a horror or true crime themed book along with several other goodies ranging from clothing to household goods. You can purchase a single box for $39.99 or subscribe for 3 to 6 boxes at a time to receive a bit of a discount on the boxes.

Let's dig into what is included in the October/November Creepy Crate. The book included in this crate is "Book of Knives" by Lise Haines which is a chilling summer camp tale or "The Angel Maker" by Alex North which is a tale of a serial killer. The digital book included is "Angel of Mercy" by Andrew Neiderman a story about a killer nurse and her twin sister.

The other items included are a set of Serial Killer gift tags to adorn your presents this holiday season, each one features a different serial killer. Three paper masks which pay homage to the 1980 movie Terror Train plus three stretchy strings to add to the masks so you can wear them. Also included is a coffee mug that says "Worlds Greatest Stepfather" which is from The Stepfather. A light bulb shaped notepad featuring Parasite, a Orphan bumper sticker - which is a movie I haven't seen yet, but have heard it is amazing. As an added bonus I received a CastleRock keychain which is a double for me as I received
it in my last Creepy Crate box, so they must of had extras and added them to this crate. I also love getting items that are not only themed but useful such as the keychain and notepad (I write lots of notes). This crate is a great way to discover products from your favorite movies & true crimes and also a great way to discover new films, stories and books you've never heard of.

🎃 If you are a fan of horror films - Which film would you like to receive a fun collectable item from?

Not everyone is a fan of horror films, or creepy things. So if you aren't a fan, let me know what theme you'd love to get a Subscription box of.

April/May '22 CreepyCrate Review!

The April/May CreepyCrate has arrived! This month has several fun items, and I am glad to see there is a collectable enamel pin in the crate again, they are one of my favorite things to receive. What is CreepyCrate? Let me tell you, CreepyCrate is a Horror/True Crime themed bi-monthly subscription box. If you've been a follower of my blog for a while, you will have seen some past reviews featuring the great items they include in each crate.

Each month includes a physical copy of a book along with a digital copy of a secondary book. This crates book is "Unmasked" by Paul Holes, alternatively some of the boxes may have received "The New Neighbor" by Carter Wilson as different box variation. The digital book is a copy of "The Shadow of Death", they used to send you an email link with a link to claim your digital book. However they no longer do it that way, instead there will be a QR code on the item sheet that arrives with your crate. I always love seeing which book they select for these boxes, there are quite a few that really peaked my interest when I read the blurb on what the book was about.

The biggest item to come in this crate is the "Where are you D.B. Cooper?" backpack. It is a fun drawstring backpack with two extra pockets compared to what normally comes on a basic drawstring bag. I think this would be a great bag to take with on a road trip or to keep your belongings in during a hike. Two of the items in this month's box are also quite useful, those two items are the "X-Files" nail file which I think is a great play on the shows name, my mom always loved watching this show when I was younger, she would watch it every week so I think I will pass this onto her. The Devil's Footprint sticky note set is also very useful and is just the right size to toss into your purse or bag for when you need some note paper, it is also small enough you can put it in your pocket if you prefer.

Also included was a Texarkana Killer Pin plus a Lincolnshire Poacher numbers station lanyard. All of the non-book items are CreepyCrate exclusives which means you can't get them anywhere else aside from maybe Ebay if someone decides to sell off the items they didn't want to keep. The crates are $39.99 per crate, you can choose to get billed bi-monthly or pre-pay for your crates selecting the three or six crate option, shipping is included in the price. I am pretty happy with this box, all of the products have a use and the book sounds like it will be an interesting read. One of my favorite items to receive in these boxes are the enamel pins, I have a cork board I like keeping them on along with my normal collection.

Which is your favorite item from this crate? What creature, horror movie or unsolved case would you hope to receive an item for?
