September Beauty & The Book Giveaway!

 

As you may have noticed last month there was no Beauty & the book giveaway and I wasn't online to blog a lot. My daughter had a spinal fusion last month which was followed by a stay in the children's hospital. I had planned to do a bit of blog work while I stayed with her in the hospital, however their wifi wasn't great and I also was helping out when the nurses & my daughter needed so we just used the time to relax together and watch some movies. Once home it was a slight adjustment period as she was still in some pain/discomfort from the surgery. She is doing a lot better now & things have slowed down with appointments and other things in our life so you'll see me back catching up on posts. So please stop by & show my posts on my social media channels some love as I get back into my normal routine.

It is September! That means the holidays are coming, I love both Halloween & Christmas, so I always look forward to both. I've already started looking around at the new Halloween products being put out this year, there are a few things I really want to hunt down but can't seem to find. My home has kind of an Addams Family vibe to it year-round so I enjoy fall as it means I get to find some new home decor items. Have you found any fall or Halloween themed items you've picked up already? Next month I will be making the Beauty & The Book giveaway Halloween themed of course and will include a few items like those little spooky themed glitters from Target. I am also excited because it will be chilly season soon, I love the cooler weather because we are able to get out and hike, camp and explore outdoors without melting.

This month doesn't have a specific theme, but when I was done putting it together, I found it leans more towards the skincare side than makeup so you could consider it a self-care bundle.
