I am sorry I didn't post a giveaway yesterday my DH is having issues with his Left ear which needed to be attended to.I can't believe the weekend is almost here already seems like time is flying by faster than I think,Schools are going to be starting again within the next three weeks so many children are either excited or dreading going back to school & parents are stressing out about getting everything bought for school in time but family time always makes it better.Before we get into todays giveaway I have a few Winners to Announce! I always love getting to sit down & either create something neat by myself or with a family member.I recently received a wonderful chance to work with a site called Sock Monkey Fun their name gives it all away,Yep you guessed it they sell lots of Sock Monkeys & Sock Monkey accessories.For my review I revived a deluxe Sock Monkey kit to create my own monkey.I have to admit right away that I am not very good at sewing I can stitch tiny holes in shirts & that about covers my sewing abilities so I called in reinforcements to help me create the sock monkey,Who was my reinforcement? My Grandmother came over to help me create my Monkey [Well she cut,& stitched I just stuffed the body parts] The instructions were simple & easy to follow everything is laid out in a photo on the instructions paper letting you know what parts of the sock are the body parts for the Monkey it even had a cute little hat! I was afraid to stuff the monkey too much so I put what I thought was enough it turns out it wasn't so I have a very thin sock monkey he is goofy but I like him.The monkey took a little less than an hour & a half to complete.Each kit comes with two socks,stuffing,eyes,a ball for the hat,a needle,& string plus a birth certificate for your Monkey.I thought the kit was fun to use & very cute it would make a perfect birthday present for a young girl to use with her mother or grandmother.I don't have any Negative things to say about this product because I didn't find anything I didn't like.You can see a Sock Monkey above that is made by Sock Monkey fun & you can see the Sock Monkey my grandmother & I created below yes he is goofy.
